I LOVED staying at this hostel. Situated in an old house of the area, its interior is pristine clean, organized and welcoming. The staff had a good knowledge of the area and recommended some cool spots to visit which I liked. I have visited many party hostels before but I appreciated how this one had activities (inside and putside the hostel) designated for every week night and how the staff actively round up the guests to get up and come along! That allowed for a big, varied friend group to form and allowed us to really get to know eachother. If you are travelling alone, this is the ideal place to go. Shout out to Sebastian and Mark, y’all made all the difference. I can’t wait to go back

I had a great time at the Auberge NOLA Hostel! The staff was fantastic and was very educated on the fun things to do around the city, both during the day and at night. The building itself and the rooms were clean and tidy, and I felt safe leaving my belongings there. Definitely recommend.

This is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed at! I can not recommend this place enough, I had the best time there and met some of the most incredible people! The staff are the most friendliest, helpful and genuinely caring people I have ever met, and most of all they all know how to make you feel welcome and have a great time! Special shout out to my man Austin who gives the hostel a special atmosphere with his positive vibes and great personality. Also Bruna who checked me in and was on hand throughout was an amazing host and was always positive and smiling. Mark was also a great staff member who took time out to make sure everyone was well looked after. The location was great, walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets and the world war 2 museum. There is also a streetcar stop about 1-2 minute walk from the hostel which will take you right into the french quarters and Bourbon street. The hostel organise events every night and bring everyone staying together, building a great atmosphere and help solo travellers to get to know each other. Free breakfast every morning from 8am til 10am. Rooms are air-conditioned. And bathroom facilities are plenty and very clean. They are thoroughly cleaned by the cleaner every day and regularly each day. Overall I can not rate this hostel highly enough and I hope I get the chance to visit again one day. Thanks for an amazing stay guys!

Actually I've stayed here in June 2017, sorry for the delay. This Hostel is so amazing! It just seems like a cosy home, you have so clean facilities, a lovely kitchen and entertaining room and the staff (especially the Boss) is extremely friendly. There is no other place to stay in NOLA! The location is also lovely and safe.

I really enjoyed my time at the Auberge. The staff were really friendly and cool. They did a great job taking as out to Bourbon street and providing ways to meet other people at the hostel. The house is comfortable and feels like a home. About a 20 minute walk from the French Quarter, or you can take the trolley ($3 for a 24 hour pass) which is about a 2 minute walk from the hostel. I would definitely recommend the Auberge.

I loved staying at the Auberge NOLA hostel! I traveled to NOLA recently on my first solo trip and I had never stayed in a hostel before. The Auberge was a short Lyft trip from the airport and the staff was very accommodating in the wee hours of the morning. The facility was clean and the check in staff provided me with many details about where to find transportation, sight seeing and goods. I really appreciated the kindness and the safety I felt. Would recommend highly!

Everything you want in a hostel - clean facilities, safe location, great staff, awesome atmosphere, and incredible staff. Save money on lodging here at Auberge so you can spend on party supplies every night. Whether it's going out for live music on Frenchman or creating your own live music at hostel karaoke...there's find to be had here.

I travelled with a friend and we booked the private dorm which was at the top of the building and had an en-suite. It was a lovely room and the staff were happy to give us extra bedding since we aren’t a couple and didn’t want to cuddle up ! The hostel staff were very helpful with advice about where to eat/ drink etc. Communication before you stay is good and they respond to email questions. The hostel is in a quiet area and is an easy streetcar ride from the French Quarter ( the streetcar stop is a two minute walk away and the journey takes about 20mins and a 24h ticket is only $3) and it is a short walk ( about 5/10 mins) from the hostel to the Garden district. As two women we felt safe walking to and from the hostel to the streetcar stop at night. The kitchen is small but seemed adequate for the number of people using it when we were there. The breakfast is fine and I even got a lesson in how to make American pancakes! They make up a batch of batter so you can help yourself and there was cereal and bread to toast and tea and coffee and milk. There were evening activities organised which is great for people travelling alone and the place has a homely feel to it. Would definitely recommend.

I went to New Orleans on a solo trip to visit Tulane. The location of this hostel was perfectly located between the University, the French Quarter, and plenty of other points of interest that were within walking distance. The place was very clean (saw staff cleaning all over multiple times per day), and the bathrooms were never full. There is also a separate single occupancy bathroom with a shower that is available to guests that prefer more space/privacy to the shared bathrooms. As a solo traveler, this hostel was a great option because of the small scale of it and the shared kitchen space. It honestly felt like staying at your friend's place because everyone would gather and chat in the kitchen in the morning for breakfast and then throughout the day. Evening activities also provided go-to options for seeing the city and meeting people. The staff was helpful and friendly and made check in/check out very easy! Luggage storage, making suggestions, booking a ride to the airport (flat rate slightly better than uber/lyft), etc. Would definitely recommend this hostel!

I have never ever been at a hostel but this was hands down the best experience, super friendly people. The whole house was just soo clean. lets not forget the people u meet, house was filled with many characters. The restroom clean all day, they even have shampoo if u forgot urs. This place is great to meet new people and just have fun, Our host Austin on our first night was just great he really help us out and just really give us great vibes. if you looking for fun and not looking to spend a lot suggest this place. The only thing bad part would be the beds but i didnt care cause i was gonna be out more then just staying a bed all day.Other then that GREATTT
