Great food rooms could use some work.

Best thing hotel was the food. Great food. Rooms which were supposedly newly renovated were not the greatest. Staff was super great. Hotel carpet in hallway smelled weird. Getting into the room you had to slam your body into the door to open it. Shoulder is hurting. Bathroom shower doors stuck. Took a bit of power to turn on the water in the shower. Bed was hard not normal for a Hilton. Best things about this place are the staff and the food.

Stayed for two nights, we really enjoyed our stay. Clean, friendly staff, walking distance to many of the main places you’d want to see in New Orleans, and we felt safe. My only qualm is the high parking prices! If you’re bringing a car, you can’t get around the parking fee.

Hotel is OK - not great. First, they have safes in the rooms but they are not available. So you have to stop at the front desk to use lockboxes. Slows one down. Worse however is that there never is more than one person at the desk, which makes for even more time wasted.

We made room request prior to checking in. When we reached no one bothered to follow through on our request. The customer service agents were very rude and unhelpful at times.

The carpet in our room was filthy, actually needs to be deep cleaned. The faucet on the sink was extremely loose and the bedding was dirty. On the 2nd room, the door was literally off the hinges and you have to push it woth your shoulder to open it or lift and close so it doesnt slam hard from yakining it clsed. Also one when we stopped in the lobby to buy some waters, the staff member had a mouth full of candy and continued to pop the candy in his mouth and try to talk at the same time and wipe his hands all over his pants. It was very unsettling and unprofessional to be honest. Finally, the valet sevice took over 25 minutes to retrieve our vehicle when we needed to make a run to the airport.it was not convenient at all.
