Quick trip to New Orleans...hotel was pretty conveniently located.

good location staff friendly and we get big room excellent bed

For $200 plus per night one would expect better service and amenities. The coffe cups in the room were styrofoam instead of using a real coffee cup. The Conciergre was never there throughout my stay. I asked the front desk people several times about local restaurants and stuff and they all referred me to the "invisible" concierge down stairs. It was our first trip to New Orleans and we would have liked recommendations about local restaurants and tourist area from a real person. Unfortunately we received zero help. We checked out on Sunday and was told to give the valet parking service 5 minutes to get our car. However, we waited outside in the cold for almost a half hour to get our car back. Our car was the parked in an area where I could not see it and I had to ask the valet manger three times where they put my car. And why do I have to pay $34 to park my car when I paid over $200 just for a room. It was obvious this hotel was not new and was never built to be used as a hotel. It appeared to be an older hotel or office building. The rooms were ok clean but you could tell the entire building was very dated. It looked like a very old Holiday Inn. I won't stay there again in the future. I'm convinced there have to be better hotels than the Hilton Garden Inn in New Orleans.

From the moment you walk into the hotel, the very friendly concierge welcomes you and takes you to the hotel lobby. The receptionists in the lobby are extremely friendly and make you feel right at home. The rooms were very clean and very nice! Microwave, fridge and a keurig to use! The hotel staff did an amazing job cleaning our room every morning. The hotel is in a great location. Short walking distance to great restaurants, bars and Bourbon street. My husband and I had such a great time here and can't wait to return. We highly recommend this hotel!

There is only one issue. The taxes on the parking fees.......I get the fees to park but it is outrageous to put the tax fees there........just on the room along was expensive!

This hotel was the perfect spot to walk every where we needed to go. The staff was very helpful and extremely nice.

It was a great experience in NOLA. I liked the hotel and the staff was courteous.

Pros- Close to the trolly line, away from the noise and only a 5 minute walk to bourbon street. Very affordable for being so close to all the nightlife. Cons- No theme to the hotel, oddly constructed in that the hotel has no ground floor and starts on the about the 10 floor of a random building, difficult to get a cab right outside of the hotel.

Our first and biggest letdown was location! The walk to Bourbon Street is lots farther than the map would indicate, and walking back after dark was actually pretty uncomfortable/scary! Also, the so-called pantry was laughable--meaning it was VERY poorly stocked. The mattresses are wonderful and the employees are super, but I cannot recommend this hotel.

The hotel was immaculately clean. The room was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and accomodating. I would recommend this hotel any day.

Had a very enjoyable stay in New Orleans and French Qtr. Close to everything! Highly recommend!

Best hotel we have stayed in. Pool on the roof was great after our day of exploring the town. Best part of the trip was our valet, Taylor. He was always there to help us choose the best place to eat & see, without Taylor our trip wouldn't have been as nice, he came out to us each time he saw us to see if he could help me us with anything. We would go back to this hotel alone just for Taylors help.

Location is perfect for everywhere !! A must stay nice and clean

Staff is the best very informative! !!! Not far from anything

Overall, the hotel was good. The location was perfect for a walk to Bourbon Street, Harrah's Casino, and The Riverwalk Mall. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was great.

Great Stay! Location was great for Bourbon Street and The Riverwalk Mall.

The room was comfortable and clean. Pretty close to the Quarter. Walk a few blocks. The staff were all very nice and helpful. You have to pay $28 a night plus taxes for valet parking. Be sure you take pictures of all sides of your car and take a picture of the form they mark on for any dents or damage to your car. When we went to check out we saw that the car had damage from being hit. I just got this car and when we got there there was no damage. Someone had marked on the form obviously afterwards that there was. At first they said it was there already and we'll check into it because we're busy right now. I said I don't care get someone here now. I was very assertive with them and got them to check the tapes while I waited. They did come back with a different attitude as they saw where someone had hit it. They say it was another person parking their car and not a valet. I don't believe that but they are paying to get it fixed so whatever. The only other negative is the food items in the 24 hr pantry are priced ridiculously high. So I suggest you pick up food items elsewhere. Besides those 2 things we had a great time. We would stay there again but I might park elsewhere.

good location, close to where I needed to be, very nice place

After booking this hotel I read some of the reviews and wondered if I had done the right thing in booking it for our much anticipated vacation. It didn't take long after getting there that I was convinced that the reviews that I had read were not fair to the hotel. The staff was wonderful and the accomodations were great. We will gladly do this again. Gregory.....you were great! The Gutierrez family - San Angelo, TX

Perfect location!!! Close to everything but the area is quiet, so a good night sleep is possible. Staff was nice and helpful!!! Worth the money!
