If you are looking at your first travel to Japan, without a tour guide , then The Hotel Wellco Narita is the best place to go and stay. Close to all forms of travel Nex Rapid travel and all stations to Tokyo. Give your self some time and explore Narita itself and then arrive back at your hotel to a wonderful and pleasant atmosphere.

Could not get more close to the station- simple walk out the gate and right around the corner. Very easy to find even without pocket wifi at the time. Close to Narita airport for those coming in late or leaving early- avoiding that typical stay AT the airport. Clean business hotel with super helpful, English speaking staff, that is within walking distance to local shops and sites. Highly recommend for those wanting to stay in Narita for a night.

Spent a mini vacation there with the wife and enjoyed it. From the check in to the check out service was great. Hotel staff was very accommodating in every way. The in house restaurant food was excellent, and the chef and wait staff may every meal a treat. Would recommend it to anyone visiting the Narita area convenient to airport and train lines

We were here for a quick overnight--I booked 2 nights since we were leaving late the next evening. At check out, they offered to make an adjustment as we were not spending the night. Very kind and accommodating! The room is basic but has everything you need and it was cery clean. No complaints for this property that is in an exceptional location right next to the train stations. Easy walking to Naritasan and good restaurants. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Close to the trim station in Narita, all restaurants close by. The rooms are older and quite basic but the location makes up for it. The staff are very friendly. The lunch buffet is quite good if you want to eat healthy.

We stayed here two nights after our flights were changed. Old school but clean and tidy. Nice line, good shower :) excellent location for wandering around, very close to the train station and offers free airport transfers. We would come back. The late night bar was a bonus, see pics and views from our room.

Booked this Hotel when it was a Mercure Hotel. I was notified some months before arriving that the Mercure Narita Hotel was no longer part of the Accor Group but not told that it had changed its name. When I arrived at the airport, I waited for the Hotel Shuttle with Mercure on it and after about 15 minutes, I began to wonder if there was something wrong. I approached one of the Shuttle Drivers and between my bad Japanese and his better English, he indicated that the Shuttle waiting with the name of Welco on the side was the shuttle I needed. When the Hotel changed its name it should have sent an email to every existing booking notifying of the name change. Checked in at Hotel and went to my room in the Main Building. Should have returned immediately to ask for another room as there was a strong musty smell which is not healthy as it is a sign of black mould growth starting due to a room being closed up in humid conditions. Operation of the A/C improved things slightly. The room itself was a reasonable size for a Japanese Hotel and the bathroom was functional although not large. Had Dinner in the main restaurant Seychelles which was pleasant enough trying meals obviously with a 'Japanese' style. It was really part of the fun actually. I later saw that there was a Korean Restaurant Arirang upstairs. Probably I would have preferred that. Breakfast was included in the room rate and I was given a Voucher which I had to present to the Seychelles Restaurant. Overall, except for the mustiness a reasonable Hotel in a very central location. However, because of the mustiness, I probably wouldn't risk staying in the Hotel again.

We booked this hotel because of the proximity to the airport and the beautifull temple just down the road. We are Accor members, when we booked this, it was still a Mercure hotel. Only recently I found out that it has changed ownership and after reading so many negative reviews about this hotel I was very pleasantly surprised when we got to our room. It was spacious, clean and fresh. I did ask for a room in the main building and we were on the 9th floor. Maybe the bathroom was a bit dated, but it was functional and after so many very small rooms in Japan it was a pleasure to have a bit more space

Great location, but hotel is in need of refurbishment. Have stayed here many times but always in the main building. Rooms in the annex have always been questionable and now it appears that the mustiness has permeated to the main building as well. Was hoping that Welco wood update the facility. Wi-Fi is spotty. Doubtful I will return as there are many other hotels close by

Have stayed in this hotel every year for many many years when it was still Mercure Hotel. It has been our favorite hotel due to its location, the familiarity of the hotel itself, the rooms that are bigger than most Japanese hotels and its free regularly scheduled airport shuttle. This time we were disappointed that the bidet was missing from the toilet, the bathtub was so slippery that if it were not for the "grab handle" I could have had a bad fall (we had to place a towel to stand on), the sink looked dirty around the top, had a crack and mirror definitely needs replacement. We'll still give it another try during our next visit to Tokyo but hopefully, some bathroom improvements would have been made by then.
