My issue is with Orbitz. There was no disclaimer about the deposit.

downgraded room in order to check in 15 minutes early at 2:45. was charged full price for suite. left day early. was charged full price with no refund. bugs in the corner of the room. frayed carpet. strong disinfectant smell. glib front desk attendant. uncaring. unconcerned. i did not report the bugs. not sure it would have mattered. the remodeling is pretty much restricted to painting the parking lot. cheap hotels are not good. good hotels are not cheap. for a reason.
Not clean low quality
It felt very old. carpet and other items needed to be replaced. Carpet coming away from walls, lumpy pillow and mattress made me uneasy. It was however clean, had working tv and bathtub.
There was no housekeeping our entire stay. 6 children, 2 adults, 2 rooms, and no housekeeping is a total bummer. The beds were pretty small. I could barely move around in the bathroom. It was HORRIBLY small. The TV amenities were out of order. There were options for Netflix and Google, but they couldn't be used. The pool was closed, but that was due to COVID, so I excused it. They didn't have any breakfast either. The air conditioner was broken, and if you can imagine the devastation in the Texas heat... OMG! We couldn't get a different room, because our teenagers needed to be next door to us, and we were told when we checked in that no other rooms were available, so we made due. If I ever stay here again, it will be with after I've confirmed that all amenities are available as possible.
There was nothing at the hotel that said "stay longer". If someone is looking for a place just to get by or layover this is the place. My family of 4 including myself had to change rooms because the bathroom wasn't clean at all. The staff is very friendly but that's about it.
Nice for the price. It is close to a Starbucks, Walmart and lots of fast food places. It is close to the interstate as well and so you can hear trucks passing by at night. The staff was nice and they had a good selection on the television. There was also a Mexican restaurant that was walking distance and it was really good!
It was relatively cheap to stay the night but honestly, I'd rather have slept in my van at the rest stop. This "non-smoking room" is next door to a smoking room. And these people obviously do not understand how smoke works. This room reeks. Not to mention the toenails in the carpet, the pube on the sink and the myriad stains on the floor. If you can ignore those kinds of things, stay a week. I'm thankful it's only one night but I and my clothes will stink of smoke and it's repulsive.
The breafast was not that great.. beds are to hard..
Pets welcomed at no additional charge! Staff was great. Waffles were delish!
Horrible, hadnpeiple hangin our outside all times of the night, very loud. The refrigerator barely worked and the freezer was disgusting, hails mold in it. I didn’t even stay the whole night. I left around 3am.....
The hotel was very clean and taken care of. I would stay there again if in the area.
The location was probably the best part of the hotel stay with it being just off the highway
