If you are looking for cheap it does look safe and has hot water but thats it Room in small eveything is broken Cant use heater it was like something burning Door extremely hard to open What looks like mold in bathroom Bed extremely hard

Worst place I ever stayed in my life full cup with bed bug bites on face!

It was clean

What i liked was that i was able to score this hotel for $45 on a sunday. Bed was comfortable and clean. Towels were amazingly soft. The heater warmed up room quickly without drying my nose out. Free pens in the lobby. Free breakfast consists of orange/apple juice coffee and pastry. Good amenities like cold fridge microwave and HBO on tv. What i didnt like is everything else. Run down hotel where the rooms dont look like pictures online. Very dirty room. Lint all over the floor and hair all over the bathroom. Staff not pleasant or greeting. Curtains dont black out room. Shower tub was grimy. Had to wait 2 hours after check in because room was not ready. Nothing close by to walk to. Walls and ceilings are paper thin so sounds from neighbors are heard cleary. Front door was hard to open. Bathroom door scraped against the floor. No alarm clock. Would not stay here again even at that good price. I would not recommend to any of my friends. But if you need a cheap place to crash and if you sleep soundly this is the place for you. Good luck.

Could be a good budget hotel but badly in need of repairs. Sink faucet didn’t turn off properly, sink drain was very slow to drain. Tub was extremely shallow, shower had virtually no water pressure. Metal piece on edge of carpet had nails sticking up. Breakfast was a convenience store danish plus cheap OJ.

The wifi was not working the whole trip. If it connected, it was about 0.05 Mbs. The bathroom door did not shut all the way and there was discoloration on the door/trim. All in all a very bad experience.

This hotel is simple. It has few amenities and the neighborhood is not very walkable. However, with a care the location is perfect as it is near the highway. The only problem was that the breakfast was very minuscule. They only had prepackaged pastries and coffee/tea. Guests should not count on the breakfast to satisfy them completely.

stinky, smokey rooms will never recommend this motel

I was located tucked in the back, did not feel safe.

Although we booked this hotel months ago, we were told at check-in that they were fully booked. We were then bumped to the Econolodge across the street, which was, by all appearances, darker and dirtier than the Rodeway Inn (where we had our original reservation).

An inexpensive hotel available last minute just minutes from downtown Monterey. No complaints at all

If your squeamish about dirt and filth and mold and blood on the floor and disgusting bathrooms, this is NOT the place to stay. The price was ridiculously high for the cleanliness. Staff does not care. Not helpful So disappointed The bathroom was disgusting The shower was moldy AC did not work. Stay away

Friday night was $99 which was OK for Monterey. Saturday was $139 which was quite step for this cheap style motel. Shower had low water pressure... But i enjoyed the larger than normal refrigerator. The bed was decent but was obviously well used. The "closet" was really unusually placed... It costs 25 cents for ice. The breakfast is store bought danishes and cheap oj or coffee. Staff is mainly OK.

This hotel was in a nearby location, only 5 minutes to the aquarium and fisherman's wharf. Basic amenities, good enough for 1 day.

This hotel is ordinary. I only needed it to be close to the fairgrounds, which it was.

In town for business. The hotel was dirty and run down. Took over 10 minutes to get warm water from the shower. Wifi would drop constantly. No extra anything in the rooms (coffee or tea). The only good thing was the location. But you can go across the street and have better choices of places to stay

Very unfriendly people. Aircondition didn't work. No closet to put your clothes. Breakfast was terrible and late. We wouldn't stay there again!
