The room was clean and comfortable although a little small. Water pressure in the sink was poor. The breakfast was minimal and the room was small. With all of the knit-picking, I would not hesitate to stay again.
The price wasn't bad but the room was very small. There were other features that made our stay worse such as the bad plumbing, the air conditioning hardly worked, there were noisy people outside our hotel and though they say the walls are soundproof they really aren't. The only plus about our trip was the time we spent outside of the hotel, not inside.
Love everything about this motel. Great location and very nice staff. Enjoyed swimming in the pool that night. They generously offered 3 extra towels for us. Breakfast was okay. Should have gone for breakfast earlier to beat most of people. Apprarently 8AM is their rush hour.
I will not be staying there again. Called the front desk, could not get them to quiet the room next to us. The carpet made your white socks brown. In the morning I could smell marijuana from the next room.
They were located close enough to everything that didn't notice travel time. I rated it five because for the price versus the quality. You're paying a quite a bit less for a hotel located right next to Monterey. Clean, close to creature comforts, and friendly staff!
It is clean and comfortable. The only problem is the AC/heating system is very noisy.
Location was good for the activities we wanted to do while visiting.
Nice hotel. Large rooms. For the price I would go back again.
Good and clean, friendly but short to make more comments
Easy access to stores and restaurants. For the price, hotel is wonderful.
Place is fine, nothing special. Many hotels along this road. Does have an indoor pool.
The hotel was clean the bed was super comy. Room was spacious, clean, the sheets smelled like lavander, you could tell they clean the rooms thoroughly.
Remodeled, clean, quiet room next to other chain hotels but with a better price. Beds were firm and breakfast was the standard fare but definitely a great deal for the week.
A great location to get everywhere. It's an older motel, but clean and has great staff. Within a mile of the airport, but was not a noisy location. Was a great value for my 8 day stay for a reunion.
Check in was at 3:00 pm I arrived at noon and they let me in right away. Very thoughtful and helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel.
The rooms are nice with a microwave, a frig. and a coffee maker. They are pretty quiet and the free breakfast is nice too. Staff is very friendly.
The king size bed is not king. It may be bigger than a queen but it is NOT a king. The towels were stained. The night manager was so completely rude and rolled his eyes after everything he said. There were not rollaway cots as advertised. There was almost no parking in the lot. The coffee maker in the lobby was broken. The coffee maker in my room and in someone's room down the hall was broken.
When we arrived, my wife couldn't believe this was it. The roof was completely gone and about 20 workers were running around a bunch of trucks and ladders and piles of materials. I had trouble parking among all the construction debris. The person at the front desk said the construction workers would be gone soon, but a team of workers installing wires stayed and used power tools into the evening. The front desk person gave me wrong information about the internet and it wouldn't work. I tried to call the front desk but the phone would not work. The phone template says call number 6 for front desk, but that wouldn't work and zero wouldn't work. On top of that, it turns out I paid too much. Not a pleasant experience.
Hotel was nice. It's right across the street from the fairgrounds which is good and bad. That night there was a large (loud) concert. It brought with it many wandering folks. People were drinking and smoking in the parking lot all evening long. This isn't anything bad about the hotel but we were not there for the concert and it became annoying. The motel itself was a little run down but it worked.
We didn't really have any problems when we arrived, and we were able to check in fairly late, after hitting especially bad traffic. But we left an item in the room that we thought would be pretty easy to recover—nothing valuable, just annoying to replace. The staff, when we called a few hours after we left, didn't seem to care at all, and we never got the item back. I don't leave stuff at hotels or motels often, but every previous time I have, the item was in the mail the same day—once at no charge. *That's* the kind of experience that brings me back to a hotel, not lackluster indifference.
