Nice and quiet hotel. Got our aqua tickets at the hotel. Very convenient. Very reasonable prices at the hotel restaurant.

Hotel staff wasn't the most helpful but I really liked our room and location

The staff was very welcoming and professional. The hotel lobby has a nice look to it and it was very festive with Christmas decorations. They gave us a free upgrade to one of their suites that appear to have been recently renovated. The bathroom was spectacular. Room itself seems a bit dated including the bed covering but the bed itself was very comfortable. Loved the gas fireplace. Delicious fresh baked cookies in the afternoon and great brewed coffee in the morning.

This place was a very pleasant surprise. We were only staying there because we couldn't get into the Hyatt for a marriage conference....ended up being glad we couldn't! The lady who checked us in was VERY professional and efficient. The room was very comfortable and a step up from a routine hotel room.

Enjoyed a very pleasant and relaxing stay at Casa Munras. We decided to stay here given its convenient location walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. A big plus is that the hotel is pet friendly. The hotel has a B&B feel, the rooms were large and very charming with a contemporary feel, it seemed to be recently refreshed or well maintained. We had a room with hardwood floors, spacious bathroom and very comfortable king bed. The property is very large with many rooms although it didnt feel that way, it has a nice pool, fitness center and Spa. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even offering complimentary cookies on check in and aqua fresca. The hotel offers a nightly happy hour and other events, and has a nice looking restaurant, none of which we had a chance to take advantage of. Overall, probably the best hotel I've stayed at in Monterey.

Really enjoyed my stay. Would recommend to all. The location of the hotel is close to restaurants and a short walk to fisherman's wharf.

This was the worst stay ever. No parking what so ever,Construction everywhere. I'd get better service in Vegas. They shouldn't be charging the prices they were charging with all that construction going on.

It really was a great find. Loved how quaint it was. Pretty and friendly staff

As I was reading the reviews, I was a bit weary of this hotel. Some of the reviews made it seem small and old. This is an older hotel but it was remodeled. The remodel is awesome and everything was new. The price was great and the stay was great for my trip. The staff was helpful and had an easy time checking in. Not the best hotel but was a really good hotel. I got everything I expected and more. I had a great room. I heard the room was small so I got an upgrade to two double queens. It was perfect, I stayed on the top floor. In conclusion, great stay

The recent renovations to the hotel makes this a top pick for a Monterey stay

Was surprised that there was no air conditioning or ability to watch/rent a movie via the TV. Otherwise, enjoyed our stay.

I was visiting to attend a Wedding at Pebble Beach, a favorite place of mine. The room was comfortable and clean and each member of the staff I came in contact with was helpful and courteous.

Very nice place in good location, a few blocks from Fisherman's Wharf. They don't offer room service, but have a nice indoor-outdoor restaurant for breakfast and dinner. You park right by your room, which we liked. I would avoid the cozy queen room, which is barely big enough to turn around in!

Room was very old, still had tube television (wow) dirty carpets, no air conditioning. Breakfast staff was overwhelmed 40 mins to get a menu, no help, why wouldn't a hotel know that

This was a very lovely and comfortable two-night stay, in what appears to be a newly remodled room. We weren't able to take adbvantage of the Spa or Salon, but loved that it was a possibility. We ended our nights with cocktails by the fire at the restaurant.. wehich we also didn't partake in, but the review were very good, and the food looked tasty. Convenient to all the attractions in Monterery, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove and Carmel.

This is a beautiful hotel. Updated with new amenities. However, I had planned a surprise vacation for my fiancé, and when we got to the hotel, our room had been given to someone else. Pathetic excuses were given to explain why we couldn't get the king size bed and fireplace that I had paid for. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone if you are hoping for a romantic get away. If we wanted a queen size bed we could have stayed home for free. Very poor and disappointing experience.

Room was dated , dull . Thought a buffet breakfast should be included in this price !

it was 90 degrees in Mpnterey. I was on a second floor room with no air. it was a miserable stay with hot weather and no air conditionong

We were pleasantly surprised by the room we chose. We had dinner at Estabans. Food was wonderful. The cat special! I had a very good nights sleep on a comfortable king size bed. I would like to recommend that your bottled water be complimentary. With the price of the room which was over $200.00, paying for 2 bottles at $2.50 each? We walked down and bought 2 large bottle for the price of one.

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful, old hotel. I grew up in the area and always admired this inn. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. Although the location is not near the ocean or other attractions, it suited our needs perfectly (we were attending a memorial service, not sightseeing). The pillows were too hard for our taste, but we didn't ask for others.
