Very clean room and spacious, no air conditioning though can get stuffy. They give you a fan or open the window. Very costly hotel for no air conditioning

A lovely spacious room, very comfortable bed, and we really enjoyed the fireplace after a long day at the aquarium. Definitely would come back!

This hotel is wonderful! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff is exceptionally helpful. It us within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Truly a great place to stay!

Walking distance from town and old wharf, clean room, good restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Only surprise is that there is no a.c. but that wasn't a problem in March where the fireplace was all that we needed at night.

No complementary breakfast. The room was bigger than my old apartment. They gave me complementary wine and chocolate. I'm not sure why, but I'll take it ;)

Very comfy beds, very nice rooms. But twice, the maint staff knocked and then entered before I could open the door - NOT acceptable ! Luckily the we were dressed. Only 1 set of hand towels. TV remote was bizarre to work.

Service was great, but my goodness it was loud. You could hear the TV next door, muffled talking, and when your neighbor flushed the toilet. I don't think I would stay there again. It's unfortunate, because the location is nice.

We only stayed one night. The staff was very friendly; the room was very clean; the hotel was quiet and it was located very close to downtown Monterey.

Room was very nice. Hotel was centrally located. Only downside was lack of air conditioning.

Nice room with fireplace. Helpful staff and great pool and hot tub.

A picturesque little boutique hotel off the beaten bath in Monterey! This was such a great find! I discovered them on Orbitz and am so happy that I did. My boyfriend and I took our first trip to Monterey and were very pleased to find that all the images matched up in person. The hotel has a spacious parking lot (we never had an issue), and the staff was really, really accommodating. Shortly after checking into our room we discovered that we had some thunderous, hyperactive kids above us. One visit to the office and they had us in a new, upstairs room in the main building in the blink of an eye with no questions and no charges. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, greeting you as you come and go. The drinks at the bar were phenomenal and I really enjoyed the ambiance. As for the room, my only wish was that all rooms came standard with a bath tub..but I'm not marking down for that at all. We LOVED our room! The king size bed was comfortable, the tv was crystal clear and had plenty of channels. The bathrooms have slightly low ventilation so they steam up pretty quickly but its worth it because the showers are gorgeous and very roomy! We sadly didn't get to check out the pool and hot tub as they were constantly plagued with people or children (not the hotels fault so no marks down there, either!). If you are looking for a great home base off the hubbub of Cannery Row but close to everything, I highly recommend Hotel Abrego; we just rebooked for another visit!

We loved our stay here, it is within a couple block walk to the downtown area where there are restaurants, pubs, coffee places, etc. The Hotel Abrego, is quite lovely and just the right size, felt like a boutique hotel while still having some in-house facilities such as a bar and restaurant. The room was awesome, probably my only complaint was the shower head was a bit funky, but no big deal all in all. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Nice place, good location, very well done. Zero issues.

The hotel was wonderful, walking distance to local breakfast/coffee shop/restaurants and close to all tourist type activities.

From start to finish the staff was a delight. The room was clean, comfortable, and cheerful. Wonderful little cafe in lobby...the oatmeal creme Brule is a must! Free parking, computers, a little gym, pool, and hot tub available. Only complaint is that some of the hallways and elevator had a funny odor but I think it was a cleaning chemical smell. I would definitely stay here again.

We were staying in the lowest room which is a bit under street level and the people above us were up late and up early 4:30, both days and stomping on the floor and opening the patio door at 4:30 am and talking loud. Very disappointed with little sleep as it was a bit pricey and I feel I did not get near enough of my money's worth.

Wonderful stay. Hotel was at a convenient location and the room was super spacious and very comfortable living.

We stayed at Hotel Abrego to attend a wedding in Monterey. The hotel is beautiful & extremely clean. The only disappointing factor was that there was no A/C, so we had to leave our windows open which was quite noisy! Staff was excellent & I would still come back and stay (just maybe in the cooler months of the year).

This pkace is a find! My husband and I usually stay up the street Munras when we visit family in P G. I thought I was back in Vegas. Staff friendly, rooms exceptional, location excellent, on site restaurant great...only no room service. Plenty of parking. LOVE IT! We'll definitely be back!

It one of the most modern hotel in This peninsula and pretty decent for this price.
