Hotel was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Place is a little dated. Location is great, close to everything.

We stayed here as part of our California Coast trip. The kids loved it. Our room had a little balcony and was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great and included S'mores by a fire pit at 6 every evening. The restaurant was great for breakfast and good for dinner. The foyer bar was pleasant, and the hotel shop sold wine and snacks. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very friendly staff, my room was clean and orderly and temp was already set to 72 degrees. The room it's self is nicely lit when the lamps are all on and the bathroom lighting is a nice clean light. I was able to give my 3 year old a bath without having to wipe down the tub and drain first and the shower head had nice water pressure. Now lets talk their restaurant the Pacific Grill... DELICIOUS. The menu isn't huge but the Rib Eye, and Citrus Chicken we ordered were perfect! This hotel is close to the freeway and the aquarium without being too close to the tourists and traffic.

Great location to Carmel, Monterrey, routes to travel to and from other places

We liked our stay here. The hotel was nice and affordable. The staff was good. Our room was a little too noisy for our liking but it was next to the pool and in the stairwell near the street so we didn't have the best location.

The regrigertaor was broken, the bathtub was stopped up with hair that had never been removed from the drain, the bathroom sink was kid sized and leaked. All in all a very disappointing experience.

For the price I paid it should have been wonderful. It was like an upgraded best western. Breakfast is not included yet the staff during breakfast was really nice and accommodating. The parking should be free not charged considering we had to walk so far. It was ok but I wouldn't go back.

We stayed here once before a few years back and liked the location and service of this hotel. Everything was nice and we hope to stay here again when we're in the area.

The hotel was modern and clean. I had to clean up my work presentation in the business center and was able to print everything without any problems. The pool and hot tub were clean and perfect after long days. Our room was quiet and peaceful and was perfectly tucked away in Monterey. The Wharf and Cannery Row were within a five minute drive and Highway 1 North/South was basically at our doorstep to see some amazing hot spots along the coast.

Nice & clean but priced a little high. Good location did not stay long enough to enjoy all the amenities.

Room over priced, small bathroom for a "suite". $10.00 to park, which I was NOT told of a booking time. From parking to room was long walk. No in room service. Plumbing noise all night. At $310.00 a night room was very over priced. Would not stay there again at that price. Room should have been valued at $150.00. Stay was unsatisfactory.9

We had a very good stay at this hotel. They had overbooked the king rooms and gave us complimentary breakfast for an upgraded queen room. Very quiet location and easy on and off hwy access.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a King room, superb

The Hotel was very nice and the people there where very helpful. It was St. Patrick's weekend, so it would have been nice that the bar be stocked. The one drink I wanted and they didn't have the ingredients. Also it would be nice that the kitchen stayed open a little longer, for example until 11pm. But all in all it was a nice experience.

Great location, clean rooms, comfortable beds (with white duvet covers) and nice lobby to sit and have a cocktail. The staff was outstanding. I definately feel I got a great deal. Breakfast was amazing also, can't think of a thing they left out, omletts, waffles, oatmeal, eggs to order, potatoes, cereal, fresh fruit etc.

Other than the fire alarm going off throughout the hotel our second night, our stay was close to perfect. The room was large, clean and well stocked. My only complaint is that when the heater came on during the night the blower sound was loud enough to be disturbing. This was particularly true the first night but became less bothersome over the course of our stay as we got used to it.

The stay at this Hilton Garden Inn in Monterey was fantastic! It truly is all about the little things. I was in town to race my car at the Mazda Laguna Seca raceway and found a great price on rooms at this hotel. One of the nice things, being a car guy, was the hotel provided free underground parking in their garage to all guests. In the past, other hotels have charged me for garage parking or even to simply park in their parking lot! This was a very welcomed addition to the trip. My car was well protected and kept inside. The beds are also fantastic. I slept like a baby both nights that I stayed. Even my guest who has frequent back issues was able to sleep with no trouble what so ever. The balcony feature was pretty nice as well. Overall the rooms were of good size, had plenty of nice features and made the stay more enjoyable. Another nice small item was the business center. I've done a lot of traveling over the last 2 years for auto racing and it seems like every hotel business center gets neglected. The computers don't work, printers are messed up or something. Often I end up having to fix the problem myself. At this hotel the computers were fast, no hassles with usage charges or restrictions and (gasp!) the printer worked the first time! A welcoming surprise. The hotel was right off the freeway giving us easy access to the town. Overall it was a great value and a wonderful stay. I will be booking here again when I come back.

The rooms are small, but overall we had a good experience. The staff was wonderful. The rooms were clean. My only complaint was that the lobby was ice cold. They need to warm it up in there.

Very friendly and helpful, easy parking was clean and grounds were well kept.

Two little people and two very tired parents... The best beds we've ever slept in away from home! Free, safe parking and convenient location to the Monterey Bay area, rooms are small but comfy. Even though we were right near the freeway our room was quiet. My kids loved the bath tub and giant TV. I loved the quiet room and comfortable bed and linens.
