First the hotel is going under a renovation so amenities are lacking, would have been good to know. The staff is very nice and pleasant, the property is outside of their control. It’s just very dirty and feels like you are in a low rent beach motel. Just a bunch of beer drinking on the balconies. I would not recommend staying here.

Walls are super thin so be prepared to your neighbors!

The staff was accommodating, the hotel is on a beautiful golf course however the hotel is under renovations and this was not disclosed during the time of booking the hotel.

We had a pleasant experience in the past and wanted to stay here again. The room we were first put into was a significantly lesser room than we payed for. On top of that, the room as absolutely filthy and had a nasty dried up liquid on the door. They switched us rooms and didn’t offer to upgrade because nothing was available all weekend(this ended up being a lie.). The next room we got had a toilet that flooded and got my clothes wet. I contacted a new manager and he gave us an upgraded room (I though they didn’t have one?). Terrible experiment for the price I paid. I though this would be our go-to hotel Monterey. You’re better off staying at a motel 6. I want my hard earned money back.

Comfortable rooms, lovely dining areas with beautiful views, gazebo fireplace, many places to sit outside.

Great hotel and staff. Had a great time at this hotel for a one night stay

Nice hotel. Clean & staff are wonderful! I shall return with my family!

Nice location, 10 mins drive from downtown Carmel by the sea. Away from the crowd but close enough to go downtown. Room is clean. Kid love the pool. They have a 3ft side, 5ft and 8ft. My 5 years old can swim in 3fts with life jacket is a plus.

Carpet is so old and dirty. Rooms were expensive but room standard is so low.

Beautiful trees and nice architecture friendly staff

Staff was very friendly and helpful The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable

Very nice Beautiful surroundings great location in Monterey stop making people write more than they want. It’s annoying

I liked the property. I wish there were more walking paths. It is a pet friendly hotel and we loved that but it didn't have a pet friendly restaurant and you must keep your dog with you at all times but if you didn't want to leave the property to eat you had to order room service that was not worth the price. This was disappointing. Everything else was great. I wish the views from the rooms you could see more than the Naval academy too.

The beds were the worst beds I’ve ever slept in . They were old .hirt my back !

Thank you Joe for sharing your feedback. I am happy that you found our staff to be nice and pleasant. I am sorry that some of our amenities are closed due to Covid19 and upgrades that we are completing on the property. I hope you will re-visit us in late summer when our upgrades are complete.
