Pros: Well, the front staff is really friendly and helpful. The area are close to restaurants and stores, very convenient. Free unlimited WiFi. Include microwave and fridge. Cons: The carpet smell wet, really bad. On going constructions. TV need to turned on manually. Place don't look appealing. Bed was uncomfortable. Next time I Will come back in Monterey, I don't think I Will stay here again.

Check in clerk explained that they had messed up the check in, and that it would show in my banking as a credit, then they charged me that rate plus the room rates. What a mix up to get that straightened out. The room not to clean but comfortable. Stains on the pillow cases that was a bit disgusting but used my own pillows and stacked theirs. No staff at 6am when we left so no way to get a statement. Would not go back. But for a traveler on a budget not so bad!

Rugs were really dirty. Pillow case had blood. Stains. Have to turn tv on and off by button underneath set

The room was clean and spacious. Hallway had a mildew smell, as if it wet and hadn't dried out all the way. Taking a rest or nap during the day was impossible as a work crew were gutting hotel rooms across the parking lot from our room. I'd stay again, but would inquire first if any construction or remodeling was going on.

In the middle of the night a woman got beat up in a room upstairs and drug across the floor. It woke us up and our baby. We had to then move all our stuff to another room. I did not get much sleep because of what happened.

Terrible hotel , bad staff, very tiny and dirty rooms

Nice two day stay located on busy Fremont Street...price well worth it. Will come back for sure

Friendly staff waited for me for a late check in. No problems. Great location.

The stay was nice. It was a weekend get away for the family and we enjoyed out comforting stay. The room was nice and the staff was friendly. We had left a piece of luggage behind. We live about three hours away and we were not going to drive back for our luggage. The manager was cooperative and we were able to figure out a way to get my luggage in my hands without having to drive there and recover it.

This hotel is by far the best value for the money. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff are courteous and accommodating to the simplest needs. I recommend this Inn for everyone coming to the Monterey Bay area

My family and I were looking for somewhere to stay for one night only, and I'm glad we picked this inn. We have seen pictures that other people have taken of other places within the same price range, and those places did not look good at all. Much to our surprise, the pictures online for this place looked exactly what was shown on their website. We definitely are happy, and will stay here again.

It's not the Hilton but it's also not a flea bag hotel. The staff was very accommodating and there were no issues with the room. If you're just looking for a place to lay your head at night... this could be your place.

Towels sucked, not enough blankets, small room bad tv reception

The staff were friendly, helpful, and well-organized. The room was small, but clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, also quiet. They don't charge for pets. We met interesting people at breakfast.

It's exactly what they describe and is definitely worth the value. Very clean room. Perfect for an overnight stay.

Although they stated that the whole property is no smoking, the smell of stale cigarette smoke was evident every time we entered the room. The attempt to over-power the smell with disinfectant came up very short. Continental breakfast had no fruit and only white bread for toast. Towels were well-worn and small. Visit was to scuba dive, so had to request extra towels, which were provided. Bed was firm and comfortable. Pillows were thin, worn, small. The three on the king-sized bed did not reach across the bed. Not enough parking available, probably due to RV storage.

They were remodeling , I think. There was alot of noise early and late in the day, Work was being done right outside our window. We tried to cancel the second night and were turned down, even though our terms said we could cancel if we did so prior to 6 o'clock p.m. The housekeeping left our bedroom windows open and the screens were not secure, This wouldn't be to much of a problem if we had been on an upper floor but we were on the ground floor and there were several workers cars parked outside in front of our window offering coverage should anyone try to enter our room through the open window. Workers and staff very loud around our window.
