Bug bites :(

I didn’t have very high expectations. Room: small size, 2 double beds, shower was old but working. AC wasn’t working well. And I got bed bug bites on my arm after sleeping here!! :( Hotel: They told us the lobby has coffee in the morning but there wasn’t ( said coffee machine was broken).

The location is good. That’s where the positives end. The room was OK, but zero amenities. Vending machine and washing machine were 1/2 empty and not working - in that order. The grounds, walkways, etc are filthy. Washed clothing was hanging off the second floor balcony. Even for a Motel 6, this place is horrible.

My recent stay at the Motel 6 in Monterey was a positive experience, thanks to its location and well-maintained facilities. The hotel is ideally situated with a Denny's directly across the street and a CVS right next door, which made getting food and supplies incredibly convenient. We rented three rooms for our group and were pleased that the staff was able to place them all right next to each other. The rooms, while a bit on the small side, were very clean and served our needs perfectly. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and well-kept, as did the parking lot. The staff was very helpful. They were friendly and quick to resolve the few minor issues that came up during our stay. We also noticed the nearby airport, but the planes weren't frequent and were not audible from inside the rooms, so it wasn't an issue at all. Overall, this Motel 6 is a great option for anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and affordable place to stay in Monterey.

We thought Motel 6 in Monterey was ok. We were surprised to find that there was no shampoo, no hair dryer or coffee maker in the room. The cleaning lady gave us some shampoo when we asked for it. The room was clean.

Very bad hotel and small rooms . Nothing in the room , no coffee, no shampoo . Bad and dirty beds and sheets . Not worth the stay . Very noisy hotel . We woke up on the warehouse next door making big noises. Coffee in the office disgusting. Should never be in expidia to choose from .

Not very family friendly. No fridge or microwave in all the rooms you have to reserve a room with those but no one tells you that. The room smells like its been cleaned with a bar of soap not actual cleaning products, i worked in hotels the products should not smell like that. Its noisy outside in a not nice area and the bathroom door was jammed. Beds are hard and blankets and sheets are cheap and sratchy. Rooms are really small. One of our rooms was missing one of the latch locks and someone was tapping woth their nails on the door at like 7am. Felt unsafe and dirty. Only stayed because it was non refundable. Dont recommended at all.
