Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Andrews

As Far as Holiday Inn Express goes, this one is...just OK! Clean and well kept, however the staff seems to be lacking in customer service skills. Staff could stand to step it up a notch! Nice conference room to use for business meetings.

Great hotel, everything you expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Comfy beds, decent breakfast, and friendly staff. Unfortunately the Elevator was out of order and our room was on the third floor. We still enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

2 Awesome hotel staff members, I didn't catch their names. Place looks neat, orderly, and professional. Room looks nice, lobby looks excellent. They have a fitness center worth checking out and the view is standard.

We stayed there on November 5. I always carry my favorite down pillow and I left it. Although there was no phone number, I emailed the manager when I got home and she sent my pillow free of charge. I had it by Wednesday. We will be staying there again!

I stayed here, along with several acquaintances, for two nights. The hotel is clean, and the carpet and furnishings appear new. Air conditioning kept the room nicely cool (a big thing in this part of the US in mid-summer) and breakfast offerings were varied and good. Overall, our stay was okay. However, two problems with the rooms baffled us completely. In one of our rooms, which had a standard bathtub with a shower head, it was not obvious how to turn on the shower. Can you imagine?? We finally had to call the front desk and ask for directions. How frustrating! I've never seen that sort of thing before in a hotel, ever. At the very least, they should post some instructions in the bathroom. And one of our rooms, a suite, had NO closet. What kind of hotel assumes you have no reason to hang up your clothes?

Rooms clean - no drama at check in or check out. Nice afternoon surprise - chili dogs and beer! Breakfast disappointing- who ever was in charge of coffee let all of them go empty before starting to refill - weird. 6 empty coffee urns - no decaf or real coffee for about 10 minutes. No apologies or explanation - just yes we are out of coffee. Not acceptable. No hot water for tea either ?

I've stayed at this hotel more than once. It has gone a little downhill since it first opened (to be expected, I know). The thing that bothered me the most this trip was the towels in the bathroom. At least one of them had a green tint to it - very odd. I also didn't like how the hand towels hung over the toilet tank to where the toilet lid touched the towels when the lid was up. I know that wouldn't bother everyone, but it bothered me. The staff at the hotel was very friendly (like just about everyone in Andrews). When a blizzard was about to hit, they were very accommodating when we decided to cut our trip short. All in all, I might stay here again. Andrews has a few more options for nice hotels now, so it would probably depend on price.

Was on a business road trip to New Mexico and stopped for the night here. From the friendly greeting when I walked in until I left the next morning everything was perfect. For me one thing that stood out was the air conditioning worked very well and actually got the room cold and kept it that way for sleeping. Great place to stop and wish I could have stayed longer.

My wife and I were passing through this area yesterday and called early in the afternoon for a room. I was advised that they had only two rooms available, a suite for $169 and a handicap-accessible room for $159. I opted for the suite. When I got to the hotel, I was sent to an average room on the second floor with two queen beds and a door to a balcony. It was 98 degrees and I had no interest in a balcony. I called the front desk and advised them that I had reserved a suite. I was told by the desk clerk ( a nice young lady) that this room was a "balcony suite". The room was not as nice as the one I had the night before at the same chain in Wilcox, AZ for $99. I told the clerk that I wasn't happy with the room and she offered to move me to a similar room on the third floor. Again, I stated that I didn't consider such a room as a "suite" since suites typically have more than one room. I was finally offered room 205 which actually consisted of a living area with a separate bedroom and bath area. If I hadn't complained, I'd have spent $160 plus tax on a simple hotel room, hardly worth the price.

This is a reasonably new property. I found the room to be large and the beds/pillows to be comfortable. The entire property looks clean and well maintained. The HVAC worked but had that annoying feature of completely shutting off then turning on all night long which can be disruptive if you are a light sleeper. The room was sparsely furnished - it seemed to be missing a setting chair in the corner of the room. And finally, something that I consider a major issue - no hot water in the morning - this is just unacceptable. This has the potential of being a really nice Holiday Inn but they aren't there just yet.
