Their food and drinks were really good, but expensive. Everything was clean. I would’ve liked to see a bar on the beach so we wouldn’t have to walk so far for our drinks, and some bathrooms outside near the beach or pool area. If you needed to go, you have to walk all the way through the lobby and they want you covered up. Otherwise, great experience. The staff was pretty friendly other than one of the maids that we ran into...

Very friendly and professional staff -- beautiful pool and rooms

Nice location and very clean. I didn’t like that I left keys in the room before checking out and was charged $50 for the two room keys

I liked that the property had a boardwalk/beach behind it!

Upon driving in I had to prompt the Valet, who was just standing there , that we needed bag assistance and a vehicle ticket, that was a first. This is a hotel run by European rules, perhaps due to ownership, ie ID for the whole family on check in, the strictness defies the welcome, friendliness and hospitality. Maybe they are used to spring breakers and Eurotrash. Total lack of common sense at the front desk on entry and exit. Despite the Stasi goon, breathing over the front desk rookies. Stinginess on “ beach towels”, one per guest , must hand in the “card” , one towel only, one card , to the guy who is covering the bill for six people and two rooms , really?? In addition you’re forewarned that you will be reprimanded and charged for losing the “ card “. What is this grade school? Feels like East Europe under the Iron Curtain. We did do the breakfast buffet 20-25 USD, not a bad price . They serve only til 10 am, on. a Sunday, so hurry up and eat. But absolutely, no a la carte, so all who enter the dining room pay full price, ie friends who come to visit. American Sunday buffets usually run at least til noon, and most hotel restaurants have an a la carte option for the less ravenous. . The Valet on Sat. at 2010 hrs, let the phone ring for 12 mts. So we decided to get an Uber instead of our vehicle. Turned out cheaper than tipping. Stay away not recommended.

I love everything about it! The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was great and the birthday cake they made was to die for!

With the amount of money that we paid for this resort is very disappointing. Very very RUDE staff everywhere that you go, the condition in our room is poor...broken handle bar that is hanging, the bathroom is a door that swing in and out and can’t be lock...no privacy there, the beach is full of seaweed and rocks that you can’t swim, the pool sucks, there is no parking so you have to valet park and the guy misplaced our car keys and couldn’t find our car/car keys, one of the elevator was broken and it took forever just to use it to, so we didn’t want to wait and end up using the stairs most of the time, this place is far from all the places that I wanted to go. There’s nothing that I like about this hotel. Save your money and go somewhere that value their customers. This place is a dump!!!

The lobby was updated and fresh looking but the rooms were slightly better than Motel 6. The staff was friendly, but not helpful and the food was just ok. It was directly on the beach which was great but further from activities then expected. They have several hotels around the world that looked good in their book but I’m not sure I’d try again.

Great place to stay! The staff went out of their way to be helpful!

Reasonably priced hotel, but seems to be not very "accommodating"/flexible, wanting extra $'s for the extra's. Clearly a mass-tourist hotel, not focused on delighting their guests. When asking for a room upgrade when we checked in, if any were available, only willing to do if pay extra $. When asking for a slightly late checkout, wanted to charge extra $25 for a 1-hour later check out. Charge a resort daily fee, yet chairs and umbrellas on the beach are expensive, unless one has spent $49 on food at the restaurant -disappointing.

Hotel is greatly located , rooms are nice, restaurant was easy to use for breakfast.

The "maniana" attitude is ruling here and the hotel staff just don't give a s**t about anything you ask. There was no hot water in our rooms!!! Imagine that after a 15 hour intercontinental trip... No other solution was offered. New level of poor customer service We asked in advance for an early check in and got no response - either yes or no. Lobby looks great - rooms are outdated. Probably the worse RIU operated property you could visit.

Good location but I wouldn’t stay there again. I hate the character minimum on your reviews. Will not do one again

Very well located, nice hotel on the beach. You can simply walk out through a small gate at the back of the hotel - and enjoy the sand and the sea. Dinners were excellent. New Year's Eve dinner was simply fabulous. Breakfasts are excellent for a US hotel (would be average in Europe). Most of the staff are nice and helpful. But we had some unpleasant experience - did not have enough towels in the room and called the front desk three times with half an hour intervals and got no towel... We did not like the check in - we were not told much about our options and the receptionist had difficulties with using two different credit cards for payment. (And I had difficulty understanding her English accent...) The air conditioner in our room was very loud but could not reduce room temperature. Thanks god it was winter and did not really bother us. At public places - e.g. the corridor - the air conditioning was freezing. The hotel does not have enough elevators for the number of rooms. People were trying to use the service elevator... I felt sorry for the hotel staff who were just trying to do their job but could not enter the service elevator because it was packed with tourists. Overall, I would be happy to stay in this hotel again when I am in Miami Beach :)
