Arrived on Monday night and left Thursday morning. It was a great stay and the beach was literally a 30 second walk. A lovely and affordable hotel for Miami. I went with four of my friends and stayed there to go to the beach and experience Miami, it was very convenient. The breakfast was nice, you can make your own waffles and easy access to everything. Would recommend!

Stayed here for two nights. The lift only holds three people, aircon I guess was in the room with a ceiling fan but room was hot and we couldn't locate temp settings for aircon. Housekeeping comes around like 8am not ideal after a night out and no sign to put up to say do not disturb. Could hear everything through the walls including vacuuming at that time. Bathroom had no towel rails. Also when I went to bed I had two socks floating around which made me think the bedroom had just been made up not stripped the sheets. We told Reception and she apologized and said must of been when they made bed socks feel in from washing... you decide in that. Location is great for beach access, rooms were big sized with a great storage room in the bedroom though. Overall I just felt like we were in a hostel and the socks part has stuck with me as a huge negative.

We stayed here in June for 1 night and requested a room as high as possible. We got that and a view of the sea. The room was pretty basic but as we were only staying for one night this wasn't a problem as it was clean. The breakfast was disappointing but luckily there are two convenience stores close by (one of which is basically next to the hotel) The reason for four stars is the staff. They were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The beach is a 2 minute walk from the entrance which is great!

Is not as beautiful as you see in the pics. I was not looking for luxury because I know the price I paid, but at least the basic things. I'll list all my disappointments so you make your own criteria. 1. you can't control the a/c of your bedroom. Although I have no complaints about the temperature. 2. bathroom in lobby was without toilette paper at our arrival (what a first impression) 3. Elevator broke 2 times during my stay of 3 days. we had to bring up the luggage 3 floors ourselves. 4. safe box in room was malfunctioning. 5. No blackout behind the curtains of the room, so, no sleep/rest during the day. 6. No bath mat (almost had a big fall) 7. no parking available. 8. A lot of noise in the hallway, from guests and staff. Walls and doors are not noise proof. towels where old and yellow. Smell bad too. Horrible thing. beach towels were also very worn. bad condition. 10. breakfast hours from 8-9:30 (very little time, in my opinion) 11. Don't even think of staying in bed and watch tv. I think there were like 10 channels only. On the other hand I have to say, staff was always friendly. Can't review breakfast because I never consume it. wifi was good and constant. There is a convenience store next to them with yummy espresso coffee, cortadito and sandwiches. They have a very good location.

I read the reviews..... saw the photos from the hotel...and it looked pretty decent.... wow! Was I wrong.... ask yourself this.... if people think it is so great... where are the photos of these fabulous rooms!! Don't be fooled like I was....the pictures say a lot.... hair in the bed.... some weird stains on the floor... not clean at all.... and worst of all... the lock to the door was not working at all.... When I went to complain and ask for another room I was told no... there were no more rooms available.... I highly doubt that.... but okay... we had to prop the closet door against the front door to make sure no one could get in... and although this is south beach... the north end... I am positive there are some that are up to no good.

Location excellent away from the crowds at south beach and on the north side. nice easy walk to down town to good espanhola way restaurants, bus free rides around town trolley type for tourists ! One day is sufficient in this area ! Hotel old fashioned and needs desperate renovation.

Hotel is average, you get what you pay for. It was the best deal for the location. We walked to the beach everyday! And we were within walking distance to some restaurants. It's not the Ritz but rooms are clean, beds are decent & they offer free continental breakfast! Check in & check out was quick and easy.

This is not a 4 star hotel but if you're a beach person on a budget, it can't be beat. It is literally steps from the boardwalk and beach. The room we had was large with a balcony. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The walls are thin though- we had loud neighbors on the second night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was not good- there's a small store next door that serves breakfast and coffee for cheap money- go there instead. And no wifi available

Our room was dirty, old and very outdated. I had stained sheets; the bed was broken and extremely uncomfortable. The curtains were nowhere near the correct size to cover the windows, so the sun came right in! The man at the front desk was very rude. There were only given two towels in our room. When I asked for more towels for the four people in my party, we were given two towels and told there were no more towels.... We then asked for beach towels and the Front desk guy turned ill-mannered and started being disrespectful. It was completely unprofessional, rude and uncalled for. The outlets in the room were broken and the floor was dirty. The elevator was very tiny and made strange noises, we took the stairs after the first ride. The room had no control over the ac and it was uncomfortably hot in the room. The only nice thing about the hotel was the location and closeness to the beach.

Ten friends stayed here for 2 nights recently and as i had done the booking i was worried by the latest reviews. The maxim you get what you pay for is very true, but in this case great value for a great location at 140 Euro per night,Clean functional,if a little tired in places but this is more than made up by fantastic staff and atmosphere we brought in a few bottles of wine sat in the lobby and played cards for an hour before bed,,you would not do that in many places!!!It would be considered a fair 3 star in Ireland, breakfast was a little chaotic but fun with basic tea/coffee/bagels/fruit on offer but there is a shop next door for extra food as needed. All in all I would recommend this hotel for any one who just wants to sleep pre cruise or after.Perhaps not for a weeks holiday but if you are young and footloose then this is the place for you.
