It was a rather disappointing stay. Firstly, I had cold showers right through my four night stay. After calling the front desk on the first night, they eventually sent the technician who says that “this usually happens”. UNACCEPTABLE!!! He kept knocking it then hot water finally came but to my horror it went away 5 mins into my shower. The manager called and suggested that I move to another room but I only had one day left so I declined the offer. Don’t bank on a decent room if it’s “standard”. There is no tub just a standing shower with no doors so the water spills all the way to the face basin area. Bed was extremely low that I felt like I was sleeping on a cot

Location and ambience is terrific....couldn't be better

We had a great experience at El Paseo. The room, although very small, was perfect for our needs, very clean, comfortable and modern. El Paseo met and exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return. The location was perfect - a few blocks from the beach and located on Espanola way - we felt like we were in Europe. We thoroughly enjoyed the added bonus El Paseo provided with a 15% off discount card for all the restaurants on Espanola Way. The food was amazing at each and every one one we tried (except for one, see below). Our favorite was Mare Mio - quality italian foods. Also high on our list was Havana. In all honesty, we were blown away by the high quality meals and the ambience at all the venues on Espanola way. Except for Moshi Moshi! If you must have sushi, don't bother going there. The management was extremely rude to us and refused to honor the discount card that none of the restaurants had any problem with. The ambience and comfort of the restaurant can't hold a candle to the other restaurants on Espanola way, which are way out of their league. The food looks good on the plate, but tasted bland and unimpressive. We regret ruining our winning streak of enjoying all of the restaurants on Esplanola way by going there. Don't make our mistake. When we told the El Paseo staff about our bad experience, they were so gracious and very embarrassed by the rude manager. They offered to send a bottle of wine to our room and vowed not to include them in their recommendations.

I'm looking forward to staying there again next time I'm in Miami Beach!

nice hotel close to beach and everything. The only thing missing was a pool which i knew it did not have one when we booked it. I did think i would miss having a pool when you wanted to stay in and relax. I would come back for less days like a long weekend.

We want to come back! Beautiful room, lovely staff, convenient location, 24/7 coffee/tea station, beach club providing chairs, nice restaurants, 150 airport express 5 min away, even bathrobes and umbrellas! We loved it at El Paseo! Thank you!!!

Overall very good. I can recommend some things: Hotel staff makes too much noise very early in the morning, I prefer not to wake up early during vacation. Wi-fi connection was perfect, I enjoyed a lot.

At first I was concerned about the hotel's location right on Espanola way. But surprisingly. the rooms were very quiet and tucked into the building. The rooms were clean, beautiful and spacious. Will definitely stay there again.

Such a unique Miami expierence staying in española way.

The hotel is perfectly placed in South Beach. Everything is within walking distance. Do not rent a car! There is hardly any parking in the entire area, and when there is, it’s expensive. Just downstairs from the hotel, there is an assortment of restaurants to choose from. The hotel itself has a balcony available to its guests that looks over this street. It’s a nice little spot to people watch. Haha. The hotel also has their own coffee machine (free to guests) that makes espresso, cappuccino, etc. My husband and I especially loved that. If we come to Miami again will definitely stay here. It’s the cheapest hotel to stay at and in a great location. Downside is you don’t get a pool or hot tub like most other hotels in the area.

Not my best trip maybe I shouldn't be writing anything about my experience with Orbitz or the hotel they put me on because it was so far away from where I needed to actually be by the time I got off work and back to my hotel driving through Miami traffic I was not in the best of moods to even try to enjoy anything around me just wanted to shower and go to bed

Front desk clerks are super nice, particularly Israel, Marcia and Leonardo. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. It will nice if they will have coffee makers and microwave ovens in the room. But will definitely stay there again

Great experience. Room in the rear did not get the street noise. Much appreciated.

Staff was great! I was expecting a hotel just a bit larger but no complaints given great service by staff at service desk. Couple observations with respect to daily room cleaning. We stayed for 4 nights and noticed floors did not appear to have been cleaned everyday, toilet was not cleaned daily, drinking water was no replenished. We had to ask for clean towels one day because they were not replaced with clean ones.

We stayed here for a few days. We arrived at 1:30 pm and had to wait until check-in time, which is 4 pm. Well our suite wasn't ready until 4:28 and there were random hair throughout the room which to me should have been cleaned before we arrived. We were in 1208 and it's room where you hear everything. Everything includes the music outside until 2-3 am, shower running from upstairs, folks moving in the hallway, etc. It was a bit much and too loud for my taste. The hotel charges a daily fee and I truly don't see where is goes since there is no pool and the bar only provides complimentary water and for the suite there isn't any microwave. The beach is 2 blocks away and the food in Havana is wonderful!

Stayed for five nights. Overall, great location, rooms were nice, and the staff was attentive. The two big downsides (and they're pretty big) are 1) the noise from the restaurants/bars downstairs (imagine this is an ongoing issue) and 2) the noise of construction, which as of writing this review (March 2017) is still ongoing, but I imagine this won't be a long term thing. I had read some reviews about the noise, but didn't think it would be that bad. It was. I'm pretty young so on nights I went out, by the time I came back, it was pretty quiet and was able to sleep. On the nights I didn't go out though I had to put in noise cancelling headphones to sleep. If you get a room facing the street, you will not be able to go to sleep without ear plugs/headphones or until after 2am. Period. Would recommend you request a room that does not have windows/doors/balcony onto the street, but I don't know how the sound was in other parts of the building. The construction during the day also made it hard to sleep in. They're repaving the street and looked about half done when I was there. Basically there were loud noises from 9am - 2am every day except for Sunday. I figured out how to deal, but it was still not super relaxing. Also, the breaker went off in my room (probably due to the construction) and had to call down twice to have them flip the switch.

I absolutely recommend this hotel. Staff was superb. Location was perfect for accessibility. GREAT STAY!

Great Location, Wonderful Staff & Super Comfortable Room!!!

Fantastic location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
