The staff was very plesant. The room was pretty clean when we arrived. The breakfast had a pretty decent variety each morning, but the eggs gave my wife an upset stomach one day and my son another day. The kids were really bumned that the pool was closed and out of service. Even if it were open, the entrance is outside from the hotel (had to go into the parking lot to get in). We would have stayed somewhere else ha we known the pool was closed and the water green.
The strange hot tub in my room was interesting. staff was helpful and Friendly

My wife and I had had a very comfortable stay. Hot breafast was was pretty good including scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereals etc. Very close to our intended event at McAllen Convention Center. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly.
I was expecting a good hotel, and I got an excellent hotel !!! I would definetly stay there again.
The hotel was great, service was great. My issues was due to the bad weather around the country after I booked the rooms (3) I had two co-workers that have to adjust their schedules by importance and they were unable to travel with me thus we were not able to get credit for the rooms we did not use.
Unexpected awesome things: Free cookies, food, a nice pool and clean place. Better than the pics look Folks running the hotel were really nice, flexible, friendly. We were expecting a 6.5 and got a 9 instead. Kudos.
