The hotel room offered the same amenities found in the US which was a concern when looking because things are very different in the Philippines. We stayed here 1 night when we arrived and the night before we left. Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was great both times with different staff on duty each time. I recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay in Manila.

My first trip to an Asian country so I am comparing this room with comparable rooms in USA & Canada. Kitchen: No bowls, 6 spoons, 2 forks, 1 knife. No can opener. No paper towels or cloth to wipe counter. Trash not taken out one day. Bed room: suitcases on floor, no suitcase stands. No dresser drawers to put clothes in. First room no drawers for anything. Beside stands No drawers. AC very noisy. Bathroom: No Kleenex. No facecloth. Asked for extra towels one day, not sent to room. Shower leaked water on floor. Hand basin no hot water. Shower water temp changed from cool to very hot every 20-30 seconds for entire shower. Hair dryer stopped working after 20-30 seconds. Lounge: TV color had terrible color, moved TV from bedroom to lounge. Staff: very friendly, polite and respectful. Good location: close to train and a mall. Poor value for the money spent.

great for american tourists

Hi John, My apologies if the hotel did not meet your standards. We do have housekeeping and engineering personnel on hand 24 hours to address any guest requests or maintenance problems. The manager on duty may also arrange for a room change should any issues not be resolved to our guest's satisfaction. All rooms are equipped with luggage racks and closets.

I had a very much better stay at this hotel than last year. The WiFi was so much better than last year when I could not get any reception pretty much the whole stay long.
