The Manila Hotel is an aged hotel with an excellent reputation, and our stay was not disappointing. We attended an event that was very well managed by the hotel staff. Our room was spacious and quiet, and all utilities - air conditioner, shower heads, faucets and commode were all in excellent working order. The breakfast buffet was great with ample traditional breakfast foods. This was one of our better overnight stays in Manila!

The staff go out of their way to be nice to everyone. I would recommend this hotel. I would also recommend to lessen the buffet options and bring down the charge for lunch and dinner. Not a lot of guests eat like that with a price to match. Overall, the hotel is grand as it should be with perhaps a change in carpet in heavy traffic areas like hallways and function rooms. The hotel is iconic so overall, I would stay here again. And recommend that you do so too!!!

First time to Philippines. 17 day trip. Stayed in three different 5-star hotels in Makati and a dive resort in Mabini. The Manila Hotel experience is head and shoulders above all the others. It’s the only one I want to go back to. It’s probably going to make all of the hotels I stay at in the future seem inferior.
