Hotel's lobby is great. Rooms lack attention. Just run down. My observation - staff are not happy and lack attention . Breakfast is a plus and would go again.

I always stay at the wonderful Manila Hotel every time I am in Manila. The entire staff makes one feel right at home. The morning buffet is beyond words delicious!

Wonderful elegant hotel! From the time you check in you are treated like Royal guests.

Probably one of my best experience here at The Manila Hotel, good place to bring your family and friends. So many fun activities to do at the hotel & outside the hotel. This hotel is a good place to stay if you plan to stay for a week or longer, it is very comfortable and the best thing is their high speed wifi.

Love the place, amenities and the variety of Food to satisfy any nationality/ guests

five stars for everything. This is the best hotel in The Philippines

Good hotel, but they are losing their touch with customer service. I had a couple instances that were really unsatisfactory. I have been going to this hotel four times in the past 1 1/2 years, and this time was not very good compared to the other times. There are plenty of smiles, but the employees are losing their touch with coming through with good customer service, which is more than smiling to their customers.

Nice staff, nice hotel. Mostly a great experience with all the staff, very friendly and helpful. Bad dollar to Peso exchange rate! They forget that the main reason for exchanging money at the hotel is for tipping the staff so they hurt their staff by lowballing the rate. The Monex counter should be a customer service opportunity not a big profit center!

Nice hotel, very pleasant staff and nice large suite rooms. Great spa for massages and a nice gym. The food in the hotel buffet was great but the restaurants had limited menus. Caution, the dollar to Peso exchange rate is a con job. They are not at all fair with the rate. They keep 6%, much more than all other money exchangers. They forget that the main reason we are exchanging at the hotel is for tipping staff. They are really hurting their staff by having bad exchange rates! They are also missing a customer service opportunity by trying to unfairly make the monex counter a big profit center instead of a customer service counter. Fair rates would make the hotel look less greedy. The mattress's are way too hard! Not sure where they got these, but they really need to get softer ones. I woke up every day with a sore neck and back!

Still a wonderful hotel located right on Manila bay. The staff really make this property shine! This is one of my favorite hotels in Manila.

the view from our room was superb! we had dinner at the champagne room with the family, we had a great time there!

As usual... stunning hotel.. I always feel like a princess. Employees are even better! FIVE STAR ALL THE WAY AROUND

Right after checking in, we took a nap after a busy day. We were awaken by the buzzing of the door bell followed by a knock. Opening d door, it was one frm the house keeping who gave us welcome chocolates and a bathrobe. They must have forgotteb to place those stuff when they readied the room for thw Incoming guests

a wonderful way to start a 23 day vacation in the philippines. from the grand lobby with the piano music and wine to the swimming pool with swim up pool bar to Rizal Park across the street to the warm and gracious hospitality extended to the guests, this is a great place to stay. highly recommended. we modified our plans to return to the manila hotel upon our return (our last night in the philippines) rather than stay closer to the airport. and the manila hotel is really not that far from NAIA, anyway...a 200php cab ride is all...and 20 minutes, max.

Staff are all nice, helpfull & all professionals. You always get you requested, I will stay there again.

I stayed a week here with my fiance. It was an amazing week. The in house restaurant had more food than i could imagine, and the pool was always clean and well maintained. We had a couples spa day that was both extremely well done and heavenly. This is not a cheap hotel, but if you want to be pampered, then this is the best i have found for the price. My only regret was having to leave at the end of the week.

I was pleasantly surprised with Manila Hotel. I thought that it would have lost its lustre because of its age. But on the contrary, it has embraced modern comforts, while still embracing the grandeur and elegance its known for. The room was the right mix of old and new, Philippine hardwood providing the perfect contrasting backdrop to modern amenities. Breakfast at Cafe Ilang Ilang was great, with a very generous spread. Service is very friendly, though, some of the staff could be more attentive. Loved the pool and the health club! Overall, a great stay! I wouldn't mind coming back over and over again.

My parents were very happy with the accommodation.

Manila Hotel is an interesting place with a lot of history, but this also means parts of the hotel are really old, especially the hallways (we were on 17th) which are extremely dated and with a terrible musty odor. However, w had a nice, large room with firm but comfortable bed. The highlight of the hotel was the modern gym and relatively nice and relaxing pool and spa. Hated the location of the hotel - not near anything useful (other than Intramurros, which is for a few hours) and the area seems unsafe and smells from the harbor. Breakfast has impressive volume of options unit nothing that great,

We're having the best time ; and our company is getting better every day .
