It is in a perfect location in BGC, which I now think is the best place to stay in Manila. The ladies on the check-in desk were very friendly, chatty and welcoming. Like a lot of hotels and residences in Manila, the pool was really good for lap swimming, which a very attentive life guard who was very quick to speak to some people who strayed into the lap lane. The jacuzzi is excellent, though it wasn't working on the morning of my second day. Possible the best feature is use of the Kerry Sports Centre. The steam room and jacuzzis are amazing. My only complaint there is that when I arrived, I was only given vague directions to that area. I was wandering around for a while trying to find it and it was only when I strayed into a private area that a member of staff appeared. Even then I had to get assistance from another guest. Breakfast, as with all Shangri-La properties, was incredible. One event did leave a sour taste in my mouth though, when I was apparently inappropriately attired for breakfast and rather than tell me, the lady spoke to my Filipina companion, who passed this onto me.
