Overall was a lovely hotel and great staff
I liked everything about the Hyatt Regency at COD Manila. We had an upgraded corner room which was very nice. The breakfast buffet was delicious each morinng. All staff that I encountered were both pleasant and very helpful.
The staff were very accommodating. The hotel were clean and our room was nice and huge. Thanks for the complimentary upgrades! Hopefully we’ll get it again next time. One of the best hotel we’ve ever stayed. Excellent to all!
Like: Restaurant, club lounge and front desk staff were super hospitable Dislikes: Outside foods not allowed. No explanation why. The security guy was more concerned about how many guests I had instead of making sure customers are safe. All of us were registered in a suite and deluxe rooms. The most disappointing was at the casino when I tried to get a gaming card to play slot machines. The clerk named zLance allowed the person behind me to be seen first before me. I was first in line, I am PWD and yet he allowed her to be served first. I argued and he was showing no concern about the issue. He was rude. I askèd for the supervisor and was told he was in the office and not available. What a poor service. Customers should be served "first come, first served." My friend's game card was issued after almost 2 hours. Also, why fill out an application form? I didn't do so in other more famous casinos like Solaire and Okada. Clerks in casino need some serious customer service training.
Staff are helpful and friendly
I do not like the smell of smoking from the casino when I came in, found Cockroach in my bed. Ian is good with my luggage , Mark is very good with transportation and Patrick Gementiza is very attentive with complain and responded well. I think the drop of fee to the airport is quite expensive.
Security are jerks. They are annoying when you park in the check-in area. Once you tell them you will move after checking in, they let you park (but put your hazard lights on), but they shouldn't be starting off rude. They also want to confiscate any Bluetooth speakers from your luggage, rather than just trust you to not throw loud parties in your room. The easiest way to get from the parking garage to your hotel room is through the casino floor. Apparently minors can't cross the casino floor (no signageand no instructions to that point) and the security will be rude if you try and cross the floor with a child. They also are unable to give reasonable instructions (and again no signage) to tell you how to get to the hotel without crossing the casino floor. You also can't wear tanktops on the casino floor (and again no signage as to "dress code"). After walking in circles I finally demanded that security escort me to show me the proper route. After some back and forth, they finally agreed. The hotel/casino had nice looking restaurants, we only ate at the breakfast restaurant at the swimming pool. All the dining options are pricey. The casino didn't have a lot of nonbaccarat table games. They did have a live band playing. The area didn't have any walkable activities other than a shopping mall next door. The hotel rooms themselves were nice and comfortable. The Hyatt staff at the front desk were nice.
Location is good. Amenities are lacking in the room.
very irritating & unhealthy smell of smoke in the lobby.
The security of the hotel. The politeness and friendliness of hotel staff.
Great customer service. The phone operators were very professional and responsible.
I love the place. I got a non smoking rooom but i scould still smell cigarette in the room.
Very nice but making room delayed although many time requested
Great hotel! Close to the airport and Mall of Asia. Would recommend it to others...
Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I was a day late in checking but they made sure the room will be ready as soon as I arrived with just a phone call. Thank you to Mads for helping me on the phone and Kelvin and Mark for making sure our baggage’s were secure and promptly taken to our room. The check in process was short and efficient. Thank you Hyatt staff for a great stay and a special thank to housekeeping for ensuring our room was upon return , it was perfect.
