Overall experiencd was great. Staff were attentive to your need
This is my second time to stay at this hotel. I normal travel to the Philippines 2 or 3 times a year for a week each time. I stayed at this hotel during my first trip to Manila. It was good place to stay and for the price is not bad. Whenever I travel to Manila I like to upgrade to a suite with a separate living area. Normally I like to stay at the Oakwood which is very close to this hotel, however on this visit they were booked up as were most of the other hotels in the general area. I have also stayed at the Marco Polo. This hotel is a down grade from the other 2 but the price is much lower. It is a clean nice hotel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are spacious. Near the hotel within walking distance are several Korean restaurants which I like to eat at. The hotel buffet is good but not a huge variety of items, but again for the price it is not bad. Last night wanted a treat so ate diner in the hotel Japanese restaurant. Food was good but expensive compared to other restaurants. Same price I would normally pay for a dinner in the US. Overall not a bad experience or stay.
I always stay at Astoria Plaza whenever I visit the Philippines. The staff are friendly. Also they always make me feel like I am at home. I have never been disappointed. The updated the rooms - they have new rain showers...aahh!
I love the airport pick up by a very courteous chauffeur, the courtesy transport to the malls, the bibingka, puto bumbong at the lobby, yummy breakfast buffet and just about the entire hotel stay.
This is what I call home whenever I visit Manila! The staff is its best asset...very friendly and accommodating! The hotel is close to Megamall and Shangrila. They recently opened a Japanese restaurant...very good food!
will stay in the same place with next trip in the PHL
Contract says wireless internet is included but the front desk says there is a fee to use the wireless. I need to pay extra also for kitchen wares like rice cooker. Oh, I have to pay additional P1000 for checking out past the required time. Last time I checked in one day late and checked out one day in advance but I paid my full reservation which is understadable.
