Village at Mammoth, in a quaint and quiet forest mountain setting. This cozy

two-bedroom,1.5- bath property features a single level unit, granite counters,

pebble rock flooring, and carpet, views of the pool, forest, and gondola. This

unit sleeps a maximum of 6 people, with two queen beds and a pull out sofa

bed. this condo is non-smoking and pets are permitted. Short walk to the year

round amenities Mammoth Estates has to offer such as the Game Room, Jacuzzi

and Sauna. Take a plunge in the beautiful pool in hot summer months or just

soak in the sun surrounded by beautiful landscape. Guests receive

complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities

including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga,

pilates and cycle studio and more. Guests will be provided two parking passes.

We arrived just after 4:30. We went directly to the property. When we opened the door there was a stron musty smell. We began to inspect and take pictures of any issues (as we always do). We noticed the following issues:Dirty carpetDamaged deck piled with what I couls only call junkSeveral lights that didn't workAnd, the source of the odor, mold on the ceiling over the shower.We immediately decided we could no stay in this unhealthy situation.I contacted Mammoth Estate Rentals and they were closed. I closed the place and decided to leave the Mammoth area.The next day I contacted VRBO. They contacted Red Awning and I began the process of requesting a refund. I am in complete disbelief that they offered only a 48% refund. I will continue to pursue this with both Red Awning and VRBO.
