My room had roaches I was not pleased and was completely disgusted
The room was terribly dusty when we got there. The ac would stop working in the middle of the night. So both nights we were woke up because it was so hot in the room. The last night I woke up to a roach on my headboard.
It is convenient to the Groome shuttle drop off and pick up location. What I did not like was the musty smell in the room along with flies and a few roaches, the unsafe activities outside, the run down and abandoned gas station next door.
Needed extra towels because we did work that day. The house keeping fought me tooth and nail to get more towels. They had me bring them to other towels, and still only wanted to give me 2 new towels. Telling me, you can still use other towels. "no need clean towel." I had used this place many times before. Not any more. Wifi is horribly slow as well.
Front desk lady “Nancy” whose name tag said she was a manager checked someone else in earlier today under my room with my credit card info (which they had because I did online reservation)!!!! Mistakes happen, but how she handled it was ridiculous. She just laughed about it, she was surprised that I wanted my money back and room cancelled and then couldn’t provide any documentation showing proof that she cancelled the transaction. I had to request that she hand write something stating I did not check in and won’t be getting charged. She signed the paper with an “N”... no full name or last name etc. It’s a pending charge on my credit card that I will absolutely be monitoring. 0/10 recommend.
The property was clean and the midnight shift and early morning shift employees were very pleasant and helpful.
It was a great stay. Just wish the pool and hot tub were open.
Somewhat pricey for an old “motel”. COVID RESTRICTIONS are a way of life, but the should be specifically mentioned on web site. Not just “call the hotel and check”
The room wasn't clean and it smelled really bad , people hanging out around the property, really scary, the bed linen was dirty and not changed. Very unpleasant visit there, I won't be returning.😠
I enjoyed my stay. Relaxing jacuzzi suite is amazing booking now.
My wife and I enjoyed the hot tub . That's it. I'm still writing because it needs to have so many characters

Rooms were well updated and clean. We are a family of 5 and I really wish they would provide the proper amount of towels without having to go to the front desk to ask. Very minor thing but would have made this an excellent stay. It was pouring rain and was inconvenient for us to have to walk all the way to the front desk to request additional items.
The only slightly negative thing was that the sink drain was sluggish, but everything else seemed good.
Booked this last minute to get off the road from driving. I did not realize it was a smoking room until the clerk informed me. I had no choice because I paid on Orbitz and it was the last room. It smelled like a poisonous combination of cigarettes and pot. I don’t think that room has had fresh air in it since the day it was built. Both sheets had stains on them. The ac unit was full of ashes. I’m pretty sure i would rather sleep in my car at a rest stop than stay at a Best Western again.
I took a picture and showed it to the desk clerk who said she could only waive my $15 pet fee because I booked through a third party. Saw another bug crawling up bathroom wall. First floor was eseentiL as there is no elevator. Doors open out; no interior corridors
I the pleasure of staying here for a few days with my 1 1/2 year old Rottweiler pup. The hotel staff checked me in with no problem, I under estimated my arrival time by a few hours and also selected a smoking room (yuk). I was able to get the room changed :). I will definitely stay here again, there is a place to walk your dog, the room was clean and the free breakfast was decent.
The night shift staff member was very nice. The hotel was a quick place to sleep on the way to visit family for Thanksgiving, so it met our needs. They are in the process of renovating, and I’m sure it will be lovely when it is complete. One thing they did not mention on their website is they charge an additional fee for pets. It would be nice to have that information so you can compare prices.
