Always wanted to try this hotel and I am glad I did. The staff was wonderful and helpful. I loved the Don the bartender-very attentive and courteous. It is an older hotel that has been rehabbed. It is a very European boutique hotel. A lot of bang for your buck.
Nice hotel offering good value for the money. Room very comfortable, only issue was sink slow to drain. Good location and easy to walk to restaurants and shops. There is construction near the hotel but it did not disturb me.
The bedsheets and pillows were so comfortable I looked at the brand and bought some online. Views were decent for the price. Pool was a liftle colder than expexted. Our room which was basic was very nice. Great part of DT Chicago. I recommend.

I chose the Hyatt because of 4 things. 1. The rate was a great value. 2. Considering the amount other hotels were charging for the parking, the combined price of the room and parking made the price a bargain. 3. This is a 4 star hotel and the quality of the room was excellent. 4. The hotel is attached to the convention center and the convenience of not having to drive to the auto show was very relaxing. The hotel put a notice under the door the evening before check out that there was a large number of check outs the next morning and to please observe the 12:00 check out time and use online or in room check out if possible. Bit, they let you know on this notice to hold onto your room key and if parked in the garage, you could remain parked there at no additional charge until 8:00pm. This worked out great for me as I didn't have to worry about moving my car until I left Chicago to head home. Excellent stay.
Love the location! Close to restaurants and sight seeing!
Beautiful lobby - amazing to see! Had to upgrade my room to a queen bed - the double bed in the room I booked was extremely small, was later told it was a European double, which is smaller I guess. Staff handled the upgrade with ease.
Location is great but be prepared for a tiny bathroom. There’s barely room to put your toothbrush anywhere. The sound from the hallway comes right in the room too. If it weren’t for the location, go elsewhere. There are many other great options.
