Great location. Walkable to so much—museums, navy pier, millennial park, shopping. Perfect location. Rooms nice. Bed comfy. Staff ie valets, bellmen excellent. Great check in. Housekeeping also did a great job. Only negative is parking at $82 a tad high per day for people staying at the hotel and only valet no self park. But v convenient. Otherwise we loved it.

Intercontinental is the only place to stay on Michigan Avenue. It is a gorgeous, fabulous, iconic hotel and we love staying there. The buffet breakfast was also outstanding.

The location was perfect for our Chicago Christmas down the Magnificent Mile. We come every year to enjoy the lights and shopping. Location A+ The elevators were a joke. If this place is busy, and it was, you'll be waiting for an elevator at the busy times for a long time. Not sure what they can do about it, but prepare yourself. Oh, and the Stairs lead to the kitchen or staff areas. You can't take the stairs to the lobby easily.
