Stayed in this luxurious hotel for a week, The room was great, warm and inviting. I had a king room and great bathroom with a huge shower. Even though it's in the back of an automotive complex, it was easy to get to and exit from. The Charr'd Bourbon Bar was awesome to say the least. All the selections of bourbons was immense as well as the complimenting menu was unexpected and beyond what I expected for a hotel bar and grill. I was spoiled, but it was worth it. If I ever return to Louisville I will make a reservation here if they aren't booked, Thanks for the hospitality......

As an assistant I am constantly booking rooms and meeting spaces all over the country and I must say this by far was the best experience I have had yet. I can not tell you how impressed I was with the staff, especially with the Executive Meeting Mgr. Minnita. This young lady was an absolute joy to work with. She really went over and above to ensure we had everything we needed and then some to wow our people. From front desk to PSAV, to the people behind the scenes each and everyone were just a pleasure. Thanks again for taking the hassle out of my job:)

We stayed at this hotel for three nights, and each day our room was cleaned, coffee, towels etc were all replaced! I say this because most room attendants will forget something. The lobby is impressive since it's so huge, and I liked the bourbon theme. We had breakfast in the restaurant which had a really nice buffet, and the lady that prepared the waffles and omelets was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. I don't like hard, crusty over browned waffles, and the ones she made were beyond perfect. You do need to try the bourbon syrup! Our friends with us had a dirty floor issue, but things were were promptly taken care of and we were all treated with a few perks. This location was further out from the city, but cut the time getting to the distilleries out towards Lexington. When we got home, my husband realized he left his new cap on the desk in the room. He called right away, and to shorten the story........his cap is being mailed to him!! Hooray!!! He was so disappointed and afraid it was a goner. Great staff!!

We stayed at this hotel because it was located close to Kentucky Kingdom. Sadly, we only had one night there. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub were amazing -- not crowded at all and the kids loved them. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was spectacular. We had breakfast in the Executive Lounge and I highly recommend paying the extra fee to have access to the Lounge. Staff were great throughout the hotel. Unless you just want to stay in downtown where there's a lot more things to do, I highly recommend this hotel. It is really not located near any tourist spots other than Kentucky Kingdom but for us, that was perfect. We plan to stay there again before the Summer is over!

This is a tough hotel to get in and out of because of traffic patterns. We are Marriott Platinum members and stay at their properties often. We had three different rooms for business on this trip. ALL of us had problems getting our rooms cleaned! They just kept ignoring our request after they skipped over our rooms. Management seemed unconcerned and bothered by our complaints. The beds had noticeable dips in the memory foam and were so uncomfortable. Definitely needs to update their mattresses. The bar was nice along with the bartender/wait staff. That's my only compliment. I would have moved hotels had it not been booked through my company.

Recently stayed one night with my husband and sister. 1) top-notch customer service! We were greeted warmly and treated with the up-most respect. We told the nice gentleman checking us in what we were in town for (husband taking a test) and he gave us a late checkout of 2:00pm and free breakfast coupons for all three of us! 2) the breakfast area was the cleanest food area I have ever seen in a hotel! You could eat off the floor in there and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Bonus points for having a separate waffle iron for gluten free folks. Overall, this is one of the best Marriott's I've ever stayed in. Highly recommended! Comfortable and affordable luxury.

We stayed 1 night after a debacle at another hotel, we booked through Booking.com but our reservation never made it to the hotel, but no need to worry, MAX stepped in, and took care of our issue! The entire staff was friendly, & willing to help, but Max was the star of the show, he saved our day, definitely made up for our crappy experience at the previous hotel! We've stayed in a lot of hotels in Louisville, but after this stay, we have decided to make this "our" hotel! The room was a good size, the beds were comfortable, the TV was very nice, room was decorated like a luxury hotel, but the best part, it's affordable!! Indoor Pool, hot tub, and complimentary breakfast(with selected stays), which is a breakfast buffet, which includes Waffles, Omelets, biscuit & gravy, and so much more! We look forward to our next stay, and hope to deal with Max again in the future!

The staff went the extra mile to make sure our room requests were accommodated. Our grandkids, age 8 and 4, really enjoyed the pool. The rooms were clean and spacious. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially the omelet station, the omelets were huge!!

This is by far our favorite place to stay in Louisville. From the front desk staff to the spacious rooms to the amazing concierge lounge and even the restaurant downstairs, this hotel is top notch. Aside from all of these reasons to never leave while you're there, it is conveniently located to just about everything, should you decide to venture out. Give it a chance, I promise it won't be the last time you go.

It was an expensive stay, but our room sure was swanky. The room was nicely decorated (even the bathroom, with its roomy, walk-in shower). We also really liked the bathrobe. It would be nice if they added a couple music channels to the tv.
