Bizarre experience. The breakfast was wonderful with cooked to order omelettes. The valet attendant was super friendly. The hotel halls and entry are very pretty; But… Check in was lack luster; with three people at the desk, no one offering to help , and no one else in line. Maybe something behind the scenes was distracting them? Happy hour, good snacks, vegs, and chicken salad. Only 1 pleasant but verrry slow bartender for all guests. PS don’t order the Chardonnay. Planned a family swim, but 2+ birthday parties on a Saturday took over the pool -literally no room. Went back after dinner, but closed for maintenance. We stayed in one of the largest rooms with conference table. It was bare bones, no color or warmth, and old pull out couch. I don’t think anyone inspected or prepped for our arrival of 6. Someone delivered a package of bedding after we arrived; it only had one pillow and a tattered green blanket for the pull out sofa. As we were packing in the morning, A staff member opened our door to enter without knocking at 10 am. No explanation, sorry, left. Overall, crazy experience. Maybe call just before your arrival to make sure all is good upon arrival.
