The remote control didn't work in my room and the front desk staff said there weren't any batteries to replace or another remote available. The overnight employee was asleep when we checked in. Another customer checking in knocked the employee Door loudly in order to get her attention. You can clearly see the employee was asleep when she finally attended to us. The room 316 smelled for muggy and misty.
I liked that the staff were extremely attentive and very helpful. the location was clean and the breakfast was great. Also very close to many dining options that was very good and well.
The front desk was so amazing! They were warm and caring from the start. I forgot dish soap to wash my baby’s bottles and they got me some from the kitchen. They went above and beyond!
Nice convenient place to stay next to downtown.
This was my 2nd stay at this hotel and it’s always great. Clean, great breakfast options, walkable to convention center and lots of restaurants and the friendliest front desk staff!
Great beds! Best I’ve slept in a hotel:) My back thanks you!
Front desk failed to inform us at check in that cleaning the room was only done on a requested basis, not every day. Lot of outside noise, especially from ambulance and fire equipment. Hotel needs updating. Carpet worn, decor out of date. Bathroom sink was extremely small and presented issues when attempting to shave.
There were loiterers smoking outside the front door. The room wasn't very clean.
Will probably be my last stay in a Hampton Inn. Even thought signs clearly stated non-smoking, the hallway on our floor reeked of smoke. The single electrical outlet in the bathroom didn't work so couldn't use any hair grooming tools or a nightlight. No cool air in the bathroom. The breakfast was pitiful! The juice machine was broken, no waffle maker, tiny little coffee cups with lids that didn't fit. BUT that being said, Deborah was the "one man band" in the breakfast area. This lovely lady was trying her VERY best to keep a terrible situation as good as she could possibly make it. So MANY kudos to Deborah.
Pool down for maintenance, which we didn’t know disappointed 3 kids, no carts to be found for luggage, no real continental breakfast just a grab and go
Upon booking the hotel I called and was told that the pool would be open and my children would be able to swim, we would just have to make an appt when checking in. We checked in 30mins after check in time and was told that the pool was closed for treatment and that “it closed at 12noon on Sunday’s anyway.” The only reason I booked at this hotel was for my kids to be able to swim. It was raining so there was nothing else outdoors we could do for the rest of the day. Also, there was hair wrapped up in the bath towels.
Good hotel. Close to the highways and everything else.
The staff were professional and prompt. The breakfast service was pleasant, however no accomodations are made for non meat eaters. I itched and broke out in rashes, my entire stay. Due to the hotel linens that are non hypoallergenic, and people with their dogs riding the elevator after I had told the hotel before attending and they promised me that they were mindful of allergies.
Bed frame in one of the rooms was falling apart. It was a safety risk. One room was not clean. I was disappointed with the up keep of this hotel.
Nice.place and awsome staff would come again or reccomenf to others
The property was right off the interstate and easily accessible. The parking lot was big and we found a spot easily after 10pm. There were people hanging out all around the hotel smoking and drinking. The check in was fast and the workers were pleasant. The room itself was dirty in spots. Don't look behind the bed or along the edges of the carpeting. The bathroom door did not lock and had to be closed to go in and out of the room. Poor design. The bathroom itself was fine although once again, don't look along the edges of the tile. It was one of the cheaper rooms we found on Orbitz so it was what I expected it to be.
