Pet friendly, we were there to pick up a rescue dog. We walked the dog all around in some very nice neighborhoods right there. The Pasadena City Hall and several churches there were were quite beautiful.

It's fine. A lot of things could be done better. I saw many things that would be easy to fix. There's a little bit of laziness going on. Beds were too hard. No give or cushion at all. Great location and convenient.

It probably is not a big surprise that Los Angeles is very pet friendly. Hollywood’s finest are spotted all over town with their pets and also many shops, restaurants, and parks welcome dogs of all varieties. LA loves pets!

Things to do with pets in Los Angeles (CA)

There are not many parks in Los Angeles that are not dog friendly. Therefore, you have quite the selection to choose from, depending on where your pet-friendly hotel is located. Hermon Dog Park, Lake Hollywood Park, Silverlake Dog Park, and Arts District Dog Park are just a few of the parks that are either built for or are welcoming towards dogs.

If shopping is your thing, The Grove is an outdoor mall with pet-friendly amenities, like The Dog Bakery. Here, you can pick up a special treat for your pet. Third Street Promenade offers shopping on the beach as well as a chance to see street artists performing. Have you ever thought of exercising with your dog? In Los Angeles you can! Balanced Fitness BowWow Workout specializes in workouts that are good for both you and your dog.

You might not think brewery when you think LA, but there are several in the area that not only have good drinks on tap but will welcome your pet with open arms. Golden Road Brewery Pub has a doggy deck and makes their own special dog treats from the leftover grain used from brewing beers. Morrison Pub has fantastic food for humans and also a special menu for pets! Afterwards you can take a walk along the Hollywood Walk of Fame which is also a must-see when visiting LA.
