Kimpton Hotel Palomar Los Angeles Beverly Hills

Nice room. Modern. Great quiet AC. Friendly staff. Parking is a tad pricey. Overall, it's a place we will stay at next time we visit.

Great staff, great lobby, great room, great shower. What else could you want?

They allowed us to check in at 10:30 AM and the entire stay was very pleasant. Don't worry about parking there is enough free parking on the street.

The Palomar is our go-to location for visiting family in the Westwood/Santa Monica area. This time we arrived still jet-lagged, and the reliably comfortable beds and welcoming bar area made us feel at home. The remodeled common areas and refreshed rooms give a nod to director Alfred Hitchcock, bringing a fun local edgy style to the hotel.

The Front desk/valet staff was very helpful. The facilities were clean, cool atmosphere in the restaurant/lounge - wish we had time to hang out. Location was great, was on a fun business trip at country club, the stores nearby were convenient for picking up event supplies. While the room was fun and stylish it felt cookie cutter-ish and fun dinged up paint job wasn't touched up.

Very clean and trendy. Parking fee is steep at $50/night

I was only there for one night, so my experience is limited. I found it strange that i had to stand in line to order my breakfast and that they didn't have true table service. Not a disaster but not four atar in my opinion.

The hotel will likely be nice, but it is under a complete renovation and is a construction zone currently. No lobby, no bar, no restaurant, no pool. Orbitz did not mention this when I booked. The staff are very nice and accommodating, but this cannot make up for no facilities. Please do not book until renovations are complete.

The hospitality of the staff and restaurant were equally as high in quality as the hotel itself. Whenever possible, Kimpton is always our top choice, and this visit did not disappoint!

Within 1 mile of the 405 and within 2 miles of Beverly Hills. Hollywood was only 25 minutes away and if you take Uber from hotel it is about $20. Santa Monica was only 20 minutes away. We could not have asked for a better place and location to stay.

The hotel is nice and clean but II tried calling into the hotel several times and nobody would answer. I called "lost and found" and left a message 3 days later someone decided to call me back. The hotel needs to improve their staff.

Hotel is nice and centrally located. Parking is too high at $40 per night. Pillows are the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. Felt like sleeping on sandbags

The hotel is in a great location and is easily within walking distance of Westwood village. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean but the hot water wasn't very hot. We asked the front desk if it could be turned up but nothing changed.

Only small complaint is no coffee in room and you have to pay for coffee in lobby, for $250+ a night coffee should be included, otherwise top notch!

The bed was awesome, very comfortable. The location is fairly good if you are touring the Beverly Hills area or going to the Warner Bros studio. It's within a few miles to those attractions, but always add 20-30 minutes to account for traffic! There are some great restaurants within walking distance or short taxi ride. The hotel was clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with reocmmendations.

Great stay! amazing hosts. people amazing location amazing and i will really recomend.

It is not good to take a money for parking , the hotel at all very good

Good hotel, in a convenient location. Room was clean, nicely done. The only complaint I have is that there was no soap in the room, and I had to call to get it. I'd expect better from a Kimpton property.

I love this place. And the art. Works great for my meetings in Beverly Hills, Century City or at Willshire and 405.

My husband and I brought our dog down for a weekend getaway to L.A. and stayed at the Palomar Hotel. Fantastic hotel, friendly staff and wonderfully appointed rooms. I could tell the staff loved having the dogs there. We will stay there again for sure!

Hello Sean, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I'm sorry to see that you found it unusual how we do our breakfast. We actually also serve hot plates and your standard Eggs, Bacon, and toast dishes. Not to mention we also have room service. We appreciate your comments and thank you for staying with us. I hope that this does not prevent you from staying at our beautiful renovated hotel. We also serve dinner at our sit down restaurant and the food is amazing. Hope you can check it out next time your in town.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I’m sorry you were not made aware of the renovations, we have really tried to be very up front about the experience, with notices on all of our booking channels as well as the home page of the hotel and adding a notice to our confirmation & pre-arrival email. I hope that you can come visit us as soon as the renovation is over and enjoy the improvements we made throughout the hotel. We are looking finish by mid February.
