They put me in other hotel on the side (same owner) so I do not know how the room in The White Hotel are. Room I got is smaĺl with no small fridge. A little dust around. However, location is convinience and close to transits...it s o.k with me. I did not pay for breakfast but I saw it s very basic.

Room was adequate for a one night stay. I appreciated there was breakfast available with cereals and food that one could maybe make a sandwich with. Room was freshly cleaned but the bedspread with cigarette burns and multiple stains does not make for a good first impression when walking into the room. The walls also had lots of splatters on them and the TV remote had lots of food remains and other dirt. Area is very convenient with lots of dining options near Paddington station which is a short walk away.

The staff were nice and helpful, it's at a very convenient location that bus, train and underground stations are just a few minutes walk away from the hotel. However, the room condition is not ideal considering the price, it's also not the cleanest with hair at some places and stained towels and sheets.

+ I asked for a quiet room and got it + Decent size for London + Caters for basic needs (warm water, towels, hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee, curtains, bed linen, cupboard to hang clothes etc.) + Manned reception - The cleaning clearly lacks - e.g. huge amount of dust on fan (so you didnt want to start it!), stains on the bed spread, sticky front desk (my check-in card got stuck when completing it) and furniture in the room, dust on stairs, stains on the walls etc - The hairdryer didn't work properly (e.g. 15 seconds on then switched off). - I phoned reception to enquire if they would have a spare one, was advised they would check but in two days nobody came back to me on the topic... I didnt check out the breakfast, so cannot comment.

Good price, good location

It is not a flashy hotel but it is clean, comfortable and well located. It's near train and underground stations, bars and restaurants, shops and parks. Couldn't ask for more from a London break.

Stayed in a twin room and found it a very clean room with very comfy beds. Usual facilities in the room with a good sized bathroom. Staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was basic but gave you the essentials. The area around the hotel was nice with shops and restaurants near by including Paddington station just round the corner. Will definitely stay again.

The location and price were great. However, there was a lot of dust in my room and the walls were very dirty. The duvet cover had holes in and felt like they needed a freshen up. Also the neighbours were smoking in their room which meant smoke kept coming through to my room. I appreciated the fan though!

A nice stay.

Check in was quick and easy. The room was budget, however it was a good size for a budget room. My room was very clean, no issues at all. Did not get time for breakfast as i had a early train to catch.

Stayed in a different hotel- poor/dated/no towels

I didn't stay in White House Hotel, I had to stay in a worse rated sister- hotel around the corner. Room was boiling hot, no towels on arrival. The breakfast was terrible! Definitely not a continental - no milk alternative (only full fat cows milk), no other hot drinks than tea or coffee and no fruit. Breakfast room was cramped and was like a poorly organised prison canteen with guests pushing around the tables. Without a milk alternative, being lactose intolerant and unable to eat processed meat (ham slices), I literally had bread for breakfast. The room was literally a 1930s throwback and although it had a double bed, it was definitely not a double room. The room often vibrated but unsure if that was because of a close train line or just the sheer traffic rumbling past and having to have the window entirely open due to how hot the room was. So much debris and garbage outside our window (see photo). Not good value for money and would not stay again.
