Roomy apartment in great location
3 of us (a couple and I) stayed in the apartment for a long weekend. Check in was late in the day - we weren’t able to check in before 3pm. There is a convenience store around the corner where you can leave your luggage for a small fee if you arrive in the am and don’t want to lug your suitcase around town. The apartment is just like the photo. There is a spacious master Br with a bath, a smaller BR with a hall bath, a small courtyard, a small parlour and a larger room that serves as kitchen and living room. The kitchen appliances are all new and the home users guide is very good. The apartment is a level down from street level, so you can hear/feel the nearby underground line, but I didn’t find it disruptive- it was bout like staying near the ocean and hearing the waves. There is a heavy iron gate at street leveL with a padlock. I found it hard to see the numbers on the lock, and the gate is difficult to maneuver. So that might be a limitation for older or handicapped guests. the smoke alarm was chirping my first night but the rental agency sent someone the next morning to fix it. the neighborhood is safe and busy. There are good pubs and restaurants within a couple of blocks. The tube station is a 5 min walk, and Regents park and the British Museum are both
about 10 min away. Overall it was a very good stay.
