The hotel is handily placed near Kings Cross Station. The room that we stayed in was very small, just about enough room for the bed as small dressing table and walking space around the bed. The bathroom wasn't much bigger than a wardrobe. If you are claustrophobic, it's one to avoid. I do understand that given the price and the area, you'd need to pay a lot more to get a larger room. The hotel appeared clean. The cooked breakfast, whilst well cooked, was very small on portion size, so matched the room!

Very good place, stayed here for 5 days and enjoyed our stay. The reception was very nice and welcoming, food was good. Our room was clean and warm. Right next to kings cross, underground and restaurants. Truly enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back soon!

Basic hotel at a good price in pricey London. But minimalist. Small rooms. Small bathrooms Small English breakfast. Clean and seemingly secure. Only issue is the risk of noise as the walls are thin but our experience was not bad at all. One of many similar places along Argyle St., convenient to all sorts of transport. Not for people who cannot handle stairs.

I stayed at Fairway Hotel for one week in November, I could not imagine that it is located in such a perfect zone of London because in 2 minutes you can reach the King's Cross station and visit the city easily. The staff is very kind and helpful, always ready to help you with informations. The room was quite small but that is what we expected, we had the private bathroom in it and the water was really hot! They provide gluten free bread for breakfast in case you cannot eat gluten, like me. We had a very good stay and hope to come back in future! Sabrina

The accommodation was very cramped - tiny room/shower - but pleasant hosts - clean rooms .Breakfast was an experience as could only handle a dozen guests at one time - but food choice okay. Overall - a budget B&B - so for the price was what you would expect - also 4 levels and no lift - so definitely cannot accommodate disadvantaged guests - we were on 3rd level - 37 stairs to room -quite a climb if you are aged

Took a single room, it is really tiny! Forces you to keep tidy otherwise there won't be any space for anything. The bathroom is small but serviceable, shower was nice and hot with decent pressure. The room had basic furnishing and adequate storage, albeit rather old fashioned looking. If there was some efficient design, the room would feel a lot bigger. The location is excellent, just a minute walk to the Kings Cross St Pancras station entrance, just outside HSBC, which leads to a short tunnel into the station. Use this instead of crossing the road above ground because the number of pedestrian stop lights just to cross this tiny stretch is laughable. Trust me, use the tunnel. Breakfast is the same everyday (English fry-up, cereal, cheese, tomatoes and toast) but you can change a bit like how you want your eggs done. Very nice and filling - hardly felt hungry up until 2pm sometimes! Steep and narrow wooden stairs which feel a bit lopsided and soft (not in a good way). Not easy to climb up if you are elderly or have knee problems. Ask for a lower floor or ground floor unit if need be. Overall, it's good value for money for the location with basic and decent amenities.

We booked here for one night after seeing a couple of reviews saying fabulous - must have been a friend who wrote that. I asked at the time of booking if there was somewhere safe to leave my bag if the room wasn't ready. Yes they said no problem - you are then told to leave it on top of lots of other suitcases in reception right by the front door and a sign saying leave at own risk. Double room was way too small - should have been a single, the bathroom was smaller than my Son's uni pod - ridiculous. Furniture falling apart. The worst part was the constant thudding and thumping all evening and early morning, it was like a herd of elephants running up and down above you, below you and to the side of the room along with doors slamming the whole time - drove me crazy. The stairs are rickety too so not any good for anyone with even the slightest disability. Breakfast was small and very little choice and I told her I can't have caffeine or orange juice and I was offered nothing else not even water - I had to ask for a glass of water. Too few tables with people hovering around you waiting for others to leave - not pleasant ! For £132.00 for the night it was a joke too be honest. I did not find the staff very accommodating either. I would not stay here again !

I went to London and wanted a cheap place to stay with 3 people. The rooms were cramped and the hotel did not have elevators. Be ware that the hotel does not provide air conditioning, and the hotel walls are thin, so you can hear the duck outside quacking. The room was very hot and stuffy and super uncomfortable. The breakfast was okay and the wifi was slow. Do not book a basement room. The bathroom was incredibly tiny. The bathroom is like an airplane bathroom with a shower. The shower was tiny and the overall room was terrible. The beds had hair and dirt on it. I will not be returning here anytime soon.

Meticulously and very proudly run. As with such category hotels in London, rooms are small but very clean. Free coffee & tea in rooms. Location is ideal - just across Euston Rd, from St.Pancras Int & King's Cross train stations which are served by several underground lines.

Easy access to and from the train station. The room is clean and bathroom has a very good drain. Breakfast was alright. On top of these, checking in and checking out were all in a breeze. The owner and his staff were very accommodating. We even had a great time during our last day before proceeding to the airport later in the evening as we did not have our luggage in tow. They were so kind to secure these after check out while doing last minute shopping. Will be glad to have another stay at the property for another holiday. The room could have been more comfortable for a family of four had it been a little bigger. Although this is not much of an issue since we were out most of the time and just needed a nice sleep and freshening up which we got.
