This Hotel is without doubt one of the nicest I've stayed in, in London. I travel regularly through work and have stayed in many London Hotels, including The Ritz and The Savoy, each of which are brilliant, but The Arch gives something a little different. From the moment I got out the Taxi, I realised how friendly the staff were, from the front desk, porter, waiting staff, cleaners and bar staff, this place is unbeatable. Really nice decor, lovely airy room with windows that actually open!! Breakfast was a delight and all the little extra touches from the soft drinks free of charge in the room, to the welcoming macaroons, everything was just perfect. The bar is lovely and the cocktails are first class! Location wise, it's unbeatable, close to Marble Arch, Hyde Park, Oxford Street and minutes away from my favourite, Selfridges, it's perfect. I'll definately be back, because when you're away from home on business, friendly staff and beautiful surroundings make all the difference.
Every year we arrive to London for a family vacation and we always stay at the Arch. Amazing hotel! Everybody gives you the feeling that you are family from the desk to the dinning room (especially Giovanni that took care for everything we needed and was kind and friendly) We can't wait for the next vacation to arrive tot his hotel. Thank you for everything Sinvani family.
I stayed at The Arch for two weeks. The customer service at the desk and the housekeeping are great. The restaurant is good, though I usually ate breakfast out, since it wasn't included in my rate. Dinner was very good and the menu innovative. I like the nice touches here: free soft drinks in the fridge, for instance. location near Marble Arch tube (three short blocks) is great and the neighborhood fine for late night walks from the station.
This hotel is centrally located within a 5-minute walk to Oxford St. It is on a quiet side street with no noise issues. The Marble Arch underground station is a 5-min walk. From there you can connect to pretty much anywhere. We stayed in a deluxe room. It was not large by US standards but fine by central London standards. It had a small sitting area with a desk. The bath was of a good size. We were fine with the size as we used the room mostly only for sleeping at night. We had paid for a hot English BF. You get to order a hot BF item in addition to having access to a continental spread. We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights and there was enough variety of hot BF items on the menu. The service was good in general- the front desk and dining room staff on particular. The room cleaning staff seemed unclear as to why we needed two bar soaps (we had requested one for the shower stall, as there was only one bar soap in the bathroom, just for the sink) - they kept removing the barely used bar during the room cleaning process!! Overall, we recommend Arch for those who would like to stay in central London on a quiet street and prefer boutique hotels. If you like a larger room and are willing to pay, ask for an executive room.
The is a boutique hotel that was simply delightful. Rooms are fresh and well cared for...food was excellent and the best is the staff. You are warmly greeted by everyone and personally cared for as a guest. The gym has great equipment.
I've stayed at the Arch before and had an incredible stay -- lovely clean room that was bright, organised a fab picnic made by the chef with some top food choices in there and set in a lovely picnic basket - plus a delicious breakfast the next day. All staff were incredibly attentive and ensured we were looked after - we felt so special! I returned today for afternoon tea, having had the picnic before and really enjoyed the food choices -- and I have to say the staff were incredible yet again, the food was fresh and perfect. We were stuffed afterwards and were thoroughly satisfied! The value is top-notch too, considering other hotels in the area are substantially more expensive but the quality exceeds the price that is charged, for sure. It was lovely to see the consistency of attentive staff and quality of food, you have gained a loyal customer and I'd be delighted to stay there (plus eat) again soon.
My brother and I stayed at the Arch about 2 weeks ago. We were both in London for the first time. I'm big on researching places that I go and stay, so this was no different. This 5-star experience that I received at the Arch was Exceptional. Whatever request I had rather big or small, they went above and beyond to accommodate our request. I highly Recommend staying at the Arch London if you plan on traveling to London. I loved the area as well. There were many shops and restaurants close by. Many attractions aren't far either. The tube station (Marble Arch) is a couple of blocks away as well. Thank you for a great stay!
Stayed in room 005 and it was in the basement. It definitely is a maze in the basement as my boyfriend and I got lost every time trying to find room 005. I was taking a nap in the afternoon and it was really loud because there was someone constantly opening and closing the door outside our room. I was super annoyed. The room was quite spacious, and the soft drinks in the mini bar are complimentary.
This hotel is a bit hard to find, but it is in a good location. The room is clean, the housekeeping does good jobs. Front desk is friendly. The food there is not bad. The bed is comfortable. Overall, it is more like a boutique hotel, but it is very nice. I do suggest this hotel.
I cannot praise the Arch London enough. We arrived at 11:00am after a mostly sleepless night on a trans Atlantic flight. Within an hour, we received a massive room upgrade to the lovely Chancery Suite, where we promptly power napped for three hours before getting up and exploring the hotel’s very convenient location, a mere three blocks from Marble Arch and Oxford Street. The hotel also gave us a 20% discount in their restaurant where we had an excellent continental breakfast the following morning. We will remember the hotel’s generosity and kindness when we plan our next trip to London. Oh yes, we were told by management that Madonna lives across the street.
