After 3 years we decided to come back to stay at The Arch. Our suite The Abbay was perfect to feel like at home. What we love is the sense of details in all things, the fact that this more a top luxury boutique hotel than a big 5 stars and the staff very discreet and professional. Our suite was pretty large with a big salon room , a large bed with a top quality matress , I was sleeping as my wife deeper than in other hotels, an expresso machine, a cosy deco with 2 large wardrobe, a private small kitchen nicely integrated and a very beautiful bathroom with top rain shower and a large bath with a TV integrated in the wall. The bath products are also top brand one from Malin+Goetz The bed have a TV too that appear on demand or dispear as you want and the sound system have a vintage style. Even if the Abbey suite have no street view for more intimacy, we were enjoying a small indoor terrace with green deco and nice garden furniture. This hotel have one of the best concierge in London which is pretty useful. The breakfast is a top foodie one, with a small quality british food products and healthy food as they cater also for vegetarian and vegan. We enjoyed to be seated in one of the alcove made for more privacy as this hotel welcome also VIP and stars. The waitress was very professionnal and helpful as the best of the breakfast are special dishes you can order at la carte. I hd a wonderful english breakfast with top cooked a la minute scrambled eggs and my wife try the delicious vegetarian full english breakfast, even the veggie sausage deserve a foodie appreciation. The only hotel in London we you feel really top welcomed and with a feel at home in a discreet luxury cocoon.
We looked for a small 5* hotel in central place in London. We picked The Arch Hotel and we had a nice stay there. The hotel is located about 200 meters from Marble Arch.It is small but elegant. The Staff is very friendly and efficient.Breakfast was good and kept us full for the all day.The room was small but well equipped with Esspresso Machine and free soft drinks from the Minibar. The mattress was to soft for our taste. The hotel is recommended for those who want to tour or work in London and prefer a small good Hotel.
Booked a junior suite for my birthday stay. We were given a free upgrade upon arrival. Our suite was gorgeous - very roomy (especially the huge bathroom!) Two TVs in rood and one in the bathroom too! Heated private terrace, complimentary cocktails, free and consistent WiFi, friendly staff, all mod cons in room. Only regret that we didn’t have longer to enjoy the room. Recommended!
Found staff to be extremely efficient and friendly. Rooms and surroundings are pleasant. Dined in hotel restaurant and was acceptable but not exceptional. The location of this hotel is the main draw, having Marble Arch at the end of the road and being walking distance to many attractions. This hotel offers a personal attentive service which can feel smothering at times if you’re used to a more corporate venue. Overall I would recommend this hotel and upgrading your room if possible.
Stayed here for one night as part of my girlfriends 30th birthday treat. All in all a really lovely hotel, just seconds around the corner from marble arch. Staff were always at hand and there was the nice touch of taking our luggage to our room whilst we went out to check out a show. Icing on the cake was our upgrade to the Abbey Suite! Would highly recommend.
We had a short trip to London to escape from the winter and chose to stay at The Arch, a 5 star boutique hotel in Westminster. We had read a lot of good reviews and our expectatins were high. The Arch met all our expectations and more. We were welcomed with genuine hospitality and charm by the genuine friendly staff, from doorman to manager, who really made us feel welcome and home. My wife had some health issues and they really did whatever in their power to make her stay as comfortable as possible and we are indeed very grateful. Both the concierge and the receptionists were a great source of local knowledge and there were nothing they couldn`t fix. The restaurant Hunter served both breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and ala carte dinner. All of excellent quality and not really high priced, we saw no reason to eat out of house. The room we had was very good with everything we needed. It was fresh, spacious and equipped with a minibar with both complimentary soft drinks and a choice of snacks and beer/wine. Also a Nespresso machine with a choice of coffees and teas were at the room. The hotel was beautifully built into the old house with high quality materials, art and good lighting but what really made it an outstanding experience for us was the staff from waiters, reception people, doorman, breakfast people to the manager and their genuine heartly way of treating their guests, you made The Arch our home on our journey - thank you:)
This was the first trip to London for my two boys (age 12 and 13). It was fantastic! The concierge service was spot-on for every piece of advice given. The food in the hotel was great. Everything was organized for our trip and we loved every minute of it. Also - the location is outstanding. Very quiet and yet just a few minutes walk from Hyde Park and the Marble Arch underground. This our London hotel for the foreseeable future!
Stayed here for one night in April 2018. Having arrived at 3pm for check in and checking out the next day at 12pm it felt like we had been on a longer break, we were so relaxed and well looked after. Each staff member is friendly and professional and the hotel itself is ambient, stylishly decorated with great room facilities and has good soundproofing. I can't remember having a better night's sleep in a city hotel - there was no street noise at all, certainly not from our room at least. The breakfast is top notch too. Highly recommended.
Located just round the corner from Marble Arch tube, the hotel is ideally situated for everything london has to offer. We requested an early check in to fit with our travel arrangements and this was ready when we arrived. My partner had booked a junior suite and felt the room size was perhaps smaller than the images online suggested, but in short the room was immaculate, modern and bright. There were 1 or 2 things not quite right though and the management team quickly offered an alternative room which was equally modern and comfortable on the lower ground floor. Equipped with every detail and luxury we couldn't fault anything with the hotel. Every member of staff is well trained, seems happy to be at work and knows what they are doing. We never saw or heard housekeeping once, but our room was serviced twice a day! Breakfast was without fault including poached eggs and hollandaise, and great tea. The hotel also brought celebration canapés to the room too. Nice touch. In short, if your coming to London you Must stay here. 5 stars is not enough.
While not cheap at £283 per night including breakfast (although it was the Easter weekend so demand would have been high!), we could not find fault with this hotel and found it the best one we have stayed at in London. The location is brilliant, as it is set back from main roads (making for a quiet night) but you have easy access to all the action. Even though the room was a little small, it was fitted out and furnished in a luxurious and modern manner. The Nespresso machine in the room was highly appreciated, as were the complimentary non-alcoholic drinks kept cold in the minibar fridge. The internet radio was another added bonus. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom had high-quality toiletries included (Malin & Goetz); the bath TV was a great bonus! Turn-down service also featured little Lindt bunnies in celebration of Easter and staff were extremely attentive and professional throughout our stay. Breakfast was also comprehensive and of extremely high quality, doing exactly what we always say hotels should do: focusing on quality products, but fewer of them. These included freshly-squeezed orange juice, strong espressos, a continental buffet, and a full English breakfast, all using the best ingredients. The hotel is also equipped with an excellent gymnasium, with towels and ice-cold water thoughtfully provided. We would definitely stay again and will keep tabs on the tariffs at different times of year in order to hopefully have the chance to do so at an even better value price tag. This was also our first time staying in a hotel from the Pride of Britain group and we would also be keen to explore the group's other hotels as a result.
