We visited London just before Christmas and chose this hotel's restaurant for one of our two nights, after much research on trip advisor. It was perfect. They had a Chrismas menu but we chose from their main menu. Very good food and the staff were lovely. The hotel looked so good I will consider staying there the next time I am in London. I would definitely visit the restaurant again
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Arch. The location was perfect for central London, the staff professional and approachable, the room spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable. We would gladly stay there again.
With a splendid location at the heart of London, a very stylist decoration and a dedicated staff always ready to help, The Arch is one of the most recommendable five-stars boutique hotel to stay in London. The comfortable rooms of this gem in Marble Arch are perfect. No matter if they are Deluxe or Standard, you will feel like home. Their decoration and facilities offer a wonderful experience, special touches for the guests like complimentary soft drinks and beautiful barrooms. Some of them even have a view over the classic London's townhouses. The Arch's nice restaurant is other strong point of the hotel, where you can have breakfast every morning served "à la carte" or have drinks or dinner at the evening. For all these reasons, The Arch is always an option for me in London. I strongly recommend it and hope to come back soon.
We only had a night here but it was a special treat. Very friendly and efficient people working there and the quality of the service, room and overall surroundings was a delight. Would highly recommend this hotel for its location, which means it's quiet and overall experience.
The wife and I were there for a pre Christmas stay. It was nicely located near good shopping and some great restaurants. The room itself was small but normal for the rate we paid and the fact that it is in London. They have 24hr room service, which was nice as lots places close early. The staff was friendly and professional, our view was of a neighborhood not anything fancy but it is a neighborhood hotel, which hitch we wanted. There was construction going on next door but we never heard it. I like this place and would stay again.
I have over the last few months on my travels to the UK been trying to stay at the best rated hotels in London and this was my first stay at The Arch. Firstly this hotel is very well positioned close to Oxford street, great for shopping, the tube and so forth but a side street away from all the noise. Service was overall very good but not as personal as some other hotels in London. Room excellent well thought out and very clean, good space for London as well. I had supper there and was excellent as was breakfast. The only slip in service was when I left they by mistake gave me the wrong bill, someone else and I only released this when I got home, I did email asking for the correct invoice but did not receive.
I was really anxious because it was my first time being in that part of the city alone. The receptionist Manel made me feel right at home. She directed me to the best shopping locations. In general all the other staff are very polite the atmosphere was boutique like. Two minutes away from Winter Wonderland and Oxford Street and Marble Arch Station. The staff in the kitchen make an amazing breakfast I remember a girl her name is ...Rebecca provided great service. Well done to the managers for running such a great team.
Very central location and I can't fault the staff, the facilities and the ambiance. They have thought of all the details, even a nespresso coffee machine. My only criticism is that the room had too much or too big furniture in it for the size of it. We struggled to get into the wardrobe and it wasn't easy to see into the long mirror. A little more bright lighting would also be useful.
The hotel is extremely comfortable - they remember your preferences - all staff are hands on - and service is good without being intrusive . We have stayed in the hotel before and would definitely think of doing so again. We were not alone in this - conversations overheard were similar - guests were returning and will return. The hotel location is perfect for touring or shopping. There are a number of private corners to sit in the dining room - the bar menu continues to run after the dining-room closes and soft drinks in the mini bar in the room are complimentary. My only criticism of this hotel is that you need to ascertain that your room is not on the lower ground level where they might be a little dark.. However, when we told the staff that we were unhappy, they upgraded us at no charge to a delightful suite on the ground floor.
Every year we stay at The Arch and our experience is always fantastic. The staff all around the hotel and friendly and professional. The rooms are super clean and this year the towels were softer than years past which was an added bonus. Norbert the concierge was truly helpful in booking our tickets for plays and restaurant reservations as well. I will always come back to The Arch for sure.
