Having stayed at many other hotels in London, was truly wowed by the experience I had at the Park Grand Lancaster gate and this vindicated the earlier doubts that I had when making the booking. Despite feeling a bit cramped given the size of the room (This is the case in most London hotels), we were soon able to trade off the tiny space for the luxury comforts of the bed, clean linen, clean bathroom, Wi-Fi, turn down service, complimentary tea, AWESOME STAFF et al. The location of the hotel also made it easy to access any part of London with both the Lancaster Gate and Paddington Tube Stations being a stone throw away from the hotel. P.S Our room was on the third floor of the hotel (308) and there was an over energetic couple staying directly above who kept entertaining us. If there was anyone a floor below us I hope we weren't doing the same 😊😊, I'm sure the hotel management is working on the sound proofing.
I have been using Tripadvisor before to tell about the High class and Excelence service you got at the Hotel. This time we was 4 persons with different age. All of us was impress about the good service everyone gave us. Up on arrival you are welcoming with a big smile, some warm cloth and a cold drink. ( try it you will love it). All the smiling faces in the reception area. "My star" who is helping out with the luggage to the room. The beds are better than home. Very clean rooms. The bathroom is very nice. Coffe + biscuit in the room. The breakfast (continental) is very good. The Bread is different every day and warm. Dannish or croasants every day. Very good coffee. In the summertime you can sit out for breakfast or for a coffee/drinks. Very quite area and you have Restaurant + Pub + Coffee shops around the hotel. The Hotel is between Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate underground stations.10 min walk from Paddington stations (Connection to Heathrow Airport). We bought day card for Bus (5 £) and bus 148 + 94 take you to Oxford street or to Westfield Shopping Mall (270 stores) Also walking distance to Oxford steet. 3-4 min walk down to Bayswater Rd for Bus. Try the hotel you will love it.
Yesterday, 14/11/17, I visited Park Grand Lancaster Gate with my boyfriend for afternoon tea from Groupon. It was his birthday. Our visit from the very beggining till the end was brilliant! Amazing, friendly, helpful and constantly smiling staff assured that we will feel comfortable and special. Day earlier I sent a note about my allergies. Nobody asked anything twice! They were ready, prepared and well informed. Service provided by two polite waitresses was very proffesional. No hidden costs, tea refils in the price! And A LOT of food! Each sandwich (so delicious!) served on different type of bread, divine pasteries, with a perfect chocolate-orange combination! We could not eat everything (we were that full!) so we got the reast to take away. Plus huge surprise!!! My boyfriend got his special moment- muffns with candles, birthday sond and wishes from staff! AMAZING! We have no words to describe how happy we were during and long after our stay for chocolate and orange afternoon tea at Park Grand Lancaster Gate. Thank you!!!
Excellent service. Lovely choice. Different breads for the sandwiches. Choice of hot drink and a number of various teas to choice from. A bottle of Champagne as well and nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend for excellent value for money and out standing customer service.
Brilliant service and first-class atmosphere the whole time. The food was very good and well presented. The staff were friendly and professional and the whole experience was lovely. I would definitely recommend this location and I will return.
Lovely stay at the end of a busy day. Staff were friendly and very helpful, polite and couldn't do to much to help. The room was immaculate, clean and had everything you could need. Couldn't ask for more.
What an exceptional afternoon tea, with added champagne. The service was exemplary showing exactly how outstanding customer service should be. The food was amazing, perfect sandwiches, delicious scones with chocolate chips, chocolate mousse, brownies, macaroons, carrot cake and mini tarts all washed down with copious amounts of tea and a lovely bottle of fizz. Would highly recommend for excellent value for money in lovely surroundings and attentive staff. Thank you.
We went for afternoon tea with a wowcher deal and it was well worth it! All the staff are brilliant and delivered excellent customer service, but one in particular to mention was Bianca. She was lovely, very personable and friendly . They catered for me as a vegetarian and the food was brilliant. We were so full afterwards but thoroughly enjoyed it! And we’ve never seen an ice cream afternoon tea before! The hotel were so accommodating towards us as we had to postpone the date due to illness and they were great about it. Thank you for a memorable afternoon with lovely food and drink and wonderful staff. We will return with our family’s in tow !! Many thanks
I stayed at the Park Grand London Lancaster Gate for a few days recently and my stay was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and modern. The location across from the park was lovely and I took advantage of a stroll through the park on a couple of occasions. The hotel's location on the central line also makes it convenient to explore London's sights. What made the stay exceptional were the little details that really made the stay above the normal hotel experience. Fresh fruit in the room upon arrival, and fresh apples available at the front desk every day. The stocked tea and coffee station in the room every day, along with packages of cookies which were a welcome site after exploring the city for a day. The room also contains an android device that they encourage you to take with you, which is connected to data giving the tourist access to google maps as well as a telephone - so when you get "lost" in London you are never truly lost! A lovely final touch for me was a cupcake and a small bottle of prosecco left in my room to celebrate my upcoming birthday - it was truly appreciated and so thoughtful. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would certainly considered staying again the next time I am in London.
Cannot fault this afternoon tea experience, the food was delicious and the staff were so attentive and friendly. Lovely selection of sandwiches and sweet treats, there was nothing i didn't enjoy! Fantastic service, would recommend to anyone!
