I stayed at the Park Grand London Lancaster Gate for four nights and it was a great stay! The staff was very attentive and friendly. The room is well equipped, clean and beautifully designed. If you're not into having a bath, the room will meet all your desires. Great service with the free smart phone that can be taken out and used all over town. Also, I loved the fact that they always offer something small to nibble on. Be it freshly delivered biscuits in the room or devine cupcakes at the reception - you are always sure to tickle your palate with something sweet when staying at the hotel. The breakfast was brilliant - there's nothing I hate more than large buffets overloaded with food. This buffet had it all without overwhelming one first thing in the morning. Hard to top. Over-all, they well deserved their five out of five points and I hope my company will book me into this gem again. thanks to the staff for making this such a great stay
I took a friend to his first afternoon tea and it was spectacular! Neither of us could finish all of the food, which meant snacks for later! Especially loved the chocolate orange scones! The service was wonderful and I can't recommend this enough!
This hotel is great value for money. The amenities are nice and the service is good. The hotel even surprised me for my birthday. The location is close to Paddington and Lancaster Gate station which makes it easier when travelling around London. Only small criticism is that the room is small and the walls are paper thin for noise, however what else do you expect in London.
I came to the hotel for the chocaholic afternoon tea with my mum. We were greeted by the most lovely staff and we could choose our seat in a beautiful room. We were offered a selection of teas or hot chocolate which was a nice change. The food came and the selection was wonderful, lots of sandwiches, cakes and chocolate covered scones. They also came out with a lovely little candlelit cake and sang happy birthday to me which was a special touch and made me really smile. The staff were top class, they were polite, professional and made my birthday so special. We weren't rushed at all and the tea was being topped up constantly never a cup empty. There were so many cakes we took some home and the enjoyment continued. I will 100% be returning to try another one of your teas and will reccommend to others too! Thankyou for making my day!
On arrival we were greated with hot towels to wipe our hands. Offered choice of table. Nothing was too much trouble for the waiter who was very attentive, caring, efficient (didn't get his name). We had the chocolate orange afternoon tea - it was yummy. When we finished the afternoon tea, we retired to a sofa to enjoy a leisurely drink. They treated us like queens for the afternoon. I will definitely be back.
Only pleasant impressions. Friendly staff. Good position of the hotel with good service in the room. Usually after trip i have some complain about service, for 3 nights that i spent in this hotel i had filling that i'm at home.
Great hotel! Nice and smiley staff. Comfortable room and what was most important for me - quiet. 5 minutes walk to the Lancaster Gate tube station. Really good surroundings. I loved that stay and I will come back again definitely.
i had a very enjoyable afternoon tea in park grand Lancaster gate hotel. They give you truly 5 star service, the ambience is so great and luxury, staff were extraordinary nice, attentive and friendly. the tea so fresh and barely cant finish it all. really good experience there
I came back as I love having afternoon tea here. They have so many different types of afternoon tea and the staff are so attentive. This time I had the chocolate orange afternoon tea. Also, they don't restrict you to one cup of tea. We never get rushed out and the afternoon tea has a good variety. Good quality tea and hot choc and coffee also included. One of my fav spots for afternoon tea, I will be back.
We spent a lovely, typically British afternoon here, with very attentive staff, Geanina being amazing, really helping us out, suggesting types of tea and checking to see if we needed anything. I cannot wait to visit again. I have already planned my next Afternoon Tea and I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a good time, in a beautiful place, with great food and proper English tea.
