Very pleasant, clean and functional hotel just 5 mins walk to Paddington. Breakfast was plentiful, warm and good quality. In a standard room which was on 1st floor, quiet and bed was comfortable. Best value for money in the area and would go back.

The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful when we arrived before our scheduled check-in time, exhausted after 20 hours of travel. Rooms are tiny and amenities are sparse (no shampoo/conditioner, for example), but this may be typical for the area. Location was very convenient and charming.

The hotel and room were clean and breakfast was fine. The only issues were the lack of storage for clothes, and with the bathroom. The shower was in the tub, and the tub was very slippery. The sink area could use an update as well.

The beds were comfortable, which is always a big plus. The rooms are on the smaller side, but that's fairly typical for England compared to the U.S. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel is conveniently located near the Tube (Underground), making it easy to get around the city. One thing to note is that the TV reception can be unreliable, so if you plan to relax and watch TV in the evenings, keep that in mind. One downside is most of the staff weren't particularly friendly, with the exception of a kind and helpful Spanish staff member whose name I unfortunately can't remember. Luggage storage is available, but there is an additional charge.
