First of all when we get there our room is not ready. We would have to wait 3hrs but we could "upgrade". We thought it was for the inconvenience but no it wasn't we had to pay an additional 60 GBP. This so called "upgrade" we got a scratchy robe, a mars chocolate bar, and a bottle of water. We were suppose to get "free" breakfast. The woman sits us down we go get our breakfast we are almost done when she brings us a bill for 35.90 GBP for both of our breakfast. Yes I flipped out and had to speak to 4 people and orbits to get this one breakfast and it left us no breakfast for the entire week which sucked because we brought enough GBP for lunches and dinners because everything else was already paid for. These people do not believe in air conditioner. The room was extremely hot we put the a.c. on but would not work we had to call front desk, they send a manager to tell us "It's winter so our heat is on". You kidding me????? It's thr emd of May almost June.with the heat on.We told them they had to do something so they bring us a portable a.c. unit that barley did it's job. Our bathroom had a shower/tub leak we called nothing was none. There was mold were the leak was coming from. If you use the toilet smd flush tje next person can NOT use the toilet to flush for 5 mins othereise it eill NOT flush. The hotel restaurant is ok but EXTREMELY over priced. We ordered chicken with salad it was good and a burger but it was over cooked and fries were old for 40GBP. Bed was very comfortabl

Quite a few airline crews seem to stay here. I guess the fear of losing their business keeps the hotel on its toes. One thing missing was directions on how to catch the Hotel Hoppa bus service at the airport, its frequency, number and the cost of the ticket Also a warning that the bus does not accept American Express cards. I also had difficulty finding the bus stop.

The Holiday Inn was quiet and gave easy access to both Heathrow and London. Staff were helpful and pleasant at all times.

The staff, room and hotel amenities were all very good. However we found it strange a "Holiday INN' did not have any wash cloths, lotion, notepad or pens. Not very luxurious for a hotel of this stature.

While it is close to the airport you don't hear the airplanes at all. If you are going into London from here more then once, I would stay somewhere closer. The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast was fantastic!

Only thing that sucks is you have to pay for parking. But that's the norm for all airports around heathrow

This hotel has been renovated, and is a clean, comfortable place to stay by the airport. Food in the restaurant was good, and service was excellent.

we had an early morning flight home so we chose to stay close to the airport the night before. This hotel was perfect transportation to and from our terminal, huge room which was clean and comfortable. My only regret was that we didn't stay longer

Got in too late to get the shuttle so had to get a taxi. Staff were really helpful with advising me and offering assistance. Taxi ride was 17GBP so a closer hotel would have been good but overall the hotel was a great experience. I enjoyed my brief stay.

Very convenient to the airport. Check in and check out was seemless

A nice hotel with excellent front desk. Limited restaurant pretty expensive, but lot's of food and tasted good. Breakfast is a buffet for 11 poundsShuttle is National bus and is 4.50 pounds for one way to airport, but it stops right in front every 20 minutes. Allow more time than their estimated 25 minute trip, though. You will need electrical converter, available at desk for 10 pound deposit...easier to bring your own. Good location for our needs. This holiday inn was a short bus ride from the Heathrow subway station, and was very clean and modern. It had a giftshop, cafe, and restaurant, and plenty of room to sit down and check your messages on ipad, cellphone.... The staff was very good at assisting with my travel needs, and I'd recommend this place again.

Good hotel near the airport. Not conducive for touring the city. Have to use bus or cab to get to the tube.

This hotel was great in all respects except that the website said 'highs speed internet'. It advertised internet in several places on their site. It did not say that you had to pay for internet. I was very disappointed that it cost 5 pounds for one hour and that this hour was consecutive use. I booked this hotel based on my misconception that internet was complimentary. I do not like surprises. The staff was very nice to me and did allow me to use it, but I think that travelers should know the policy when they book hotels.

Two things, first they charge you for parking £12 a day, this is rather unnecessary in my opinion because you are a guest in their hotel, why charge for parking if you are staying there?! The second thing is that there was mold on the shower ceiling. They did have spacious rooms and free breakfast buffet, and the staff was polite and professional. I just wouldn't come back.

Great staff, nice room, definitely convenient to LHR.

This was my third time staying here. It's convenient to the M4 and Heathrow. The rooms are well done and comfortable. The staff is very accommodating. I'll probably stay here again, but... All three times I've been here the Asian restaurant and Callaghan's pub/grill were closed to guests, once for renovations and twice for private parties. That left room service or eating in the rather pedestrian hotel dining area, which wasn't open my first stay. The food was okay but how can you say it was managed well when by 7:30 PM, knowing that the other two restaurants were closed for a private function, ran out of 5 main courses, the most appealing on the menu. No one around me was pleased. It made for a let down. The check-in staff did make one glaring error and compensated me but upgrading my room to the club level which was nice. Still, what should have been a relaxing last day before the end of my trip was a let down.

The hotel and room were very nice. Many amenities are offered. However, wifi charges are astronomical and ridiculous. The concierge was snippy when asked a simple question.

Room was quiet and nice and dark despite being next to the airport. Staff very accommodating. Nice feeling of professional quality.

Thank you so much for your review, we are so pleased you found our bedrooms to be nice and clean, our Housekeeping Team do work hard to keep us fresh and new. We are so pleased you enjoyed breakfast, it is such a good start to the day. I just wanted to note for fellow guests some of the dishes available - sausages and bacon, grilled tomatoes, hash browns and black pudding. Chef is there ready to freshly cooked eggs in whatever way you desire, poached, scrambled, fried or a lovely omelette. Pancake or porridge, help yourself to our fully stocked cereal bar. There is fresh fruit, yogurt, and unlimited juice (orange, apple or cranberry). Selection of fresh baguettes, English muffins, bread for toast, pastries and all-butter croissants. Thank you again, we hope you will visit in the future. Kind regards Fiona Mackenzie Andrew Guest Relations
