Hotel was close but you cant walk to airport, use hop on hop off buses---about 5 pounds each way...make sure you tell them which terminal---there are 5. Signs at airport are not the greatest and sometimes certain buses are not running but the sign does not so indicate....ask at the information keosk or ask one of the drivers---they know. Other than that easy peassy. Travelers--note---the easiest way to get to and from airport is the underground----cheap reliable fast---takes you to bus stations, railroad stations etc.....easy peasy

Convenient. Drinks and food a bit expensive for what you get

Good location. Small rooms. Very basic furniture. Good price. Limited choice in restaurant.

Spent an hour in the lobby waiting for the front desk and Orbitz to communicate about my already paid for reservation. Missed the closing of the restaurant and bar as a result of my wait. Very inconvenient. They made nice with a free breakfast and room upgrade, but certainly did not make up for my ruined evening. There were also no concession to buy snacks or drinks. Front desk guy was wonderful.

Poor. Spent an hour for the staff to find reservation.

the sofa bed cushion had a blood stained, disgusting.

I reserved an Executive Suite via Orbitz for 2 adults and 2 kids. When I got to the hotel, the staff looked nervous and delayed my check in. Then I understood why. Simply, because they didn't have my reserved room. Instead, I realized that was assigned a room with a bed and a convertible couch rather than the two beds and, of course, less space. Second, the toilet didn't flush properly if at all. Third, on my way out, the staff tells me that we had two in room orders; something we didn't do. No idea how this hotel functions but there is a great deal of incompetentness and hypocrisy. I kept hearing "Sorry" during my stay because they knew they screwed it badly. The front desk staff was fine but the administration is greatly incompetent. I was offered a couple of welcome drinks to help with the situation, which wasn't helpful at all.

We booked the hotel a few days before our flight to return home. We had an early morning flight and had to be at the airport at 5am. We chose the hotel because it was close to terminal 2 at Heathrow and the Hoopa picked us up right out side the hotel. When you enter the hotel is was clean and bright. It had a modern feel. The lounge/bar area was busy because of a football game on TV. Check in was quick. The front desk staff was very helpful and explained where all the amenities were. The hotel also offered free wifi. The room was large with a king bed and a sofa. The room over looked into the lobby of the hotel. The bathrooms was large with a soaking tube. The toilet and the shower were in two different rooms. The room and bathroom were clean and updated. We ordered room service from the restaurant menu. They menu didn't have a lot of items but it did have a good selection of different kind of food. The food arrived hot. It was good and the portion size was worth the cost. Check out at 4 am was quick. We opted for express checkout and we just had to drop our room keys in a box in the lobby.

Not the best accommodations or food. Not very close to anything interesting. The beds are extremely hard.

We booked the Novotel to be close to the airport for an early morning flight along and an 18 hr layover. The hotel was nice and exactly as other Novotel Hotels, a good buy and experience. The only downside was taking the Heathrow Hopper from Terminal 3 where we arrived at a cost of L4.5 per person, to the hotel to drop off bags. Then another fare to the metro station (Terminal 5) to visit London for the evening. Add in another fare to get back to the hotel after the London visit and another fare to get to Terminal 5 in the morning for departure. Expensive but most all time consuming as the Hoppa is slowwwww. Advice #1: If you have a layover at Heathrow, and a flight out of Terminal 5, it would be best to stay and pay the extra for a hotel at Terminal 5 near the transit station to London. Advice #2: If staying at Novotel (which is a very nice airport hotel) consider opting for a cab to your terminal if you are in hurry or have multiple passengers to cover the cost.

We have stayed at Novotel Heathrow when arriving late into London. We had to call several relatives from the hotel and my cellphone would not work. They charged 68 pounds UK for 30 minutes of phone calls. That is maybe 3 time the extortionate rate in US hotels!

The room is tidy and neat. The basics are all present. No odor in the room.

We had a brief layover and rather than stay in the airport we decided to try the Novotel to shower and rest. The hotel is about the last on the Hopper route and I thought if I were staying longer it wouldn't make a difference, the distance is less than 15 minutes from Terminal 5. The rooms are clean and furnished with modern fixtures. I would only complain that the bathrooms weren't thought through. You have to climb up into the shower tub which is risky for older people and the toilet is separated but with no sink to wash your hands. We didn't have a chance to try the restaurant or pool but I chose the Novotel for those two options over another cheaper place that didn't have either.

We were there with our two kids, who slept on the fold-out sofa bed. Our room was well designed, furnished and equipped. The entire hotel was in clean and in excellent condition. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. It's a short shuttle bus or taxi ride to the Heathrow terminals.

Good for night’s stay when travelling, staff are very nice at reception and the bar/ restaurant

I found a bug in the room, the drains didn't work well, the fitness center had only 4 machines....but the room was otherwise clean and the beds were comfortable.

had lunch and dinner- very nice and reasonably priced

Greedy, hostile manager. Would avoid this hotel even if it were the last lodging on earth, Given the rudeness of the manager and the abundance of other hotels in the area, even though that meant forfeiting my prepayment

We flew into London for a short stay, three nights. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were clean and fresh. The shower was a little tricky (two many handles and knobs). We arrived early and wanted to get a room, hotel didn't seem to be full but we were only given one option and that was to wait to the 2 PM check-in. They did keep our luggage and that helped. The free computers were easy to use and available most of the time. We would stay here again.

Getting to this so called "airport hotel" from London Heathrow is a joke. Called the staff for help and they just told me to get the bus. This is not an airport hotel but rather a hotel about 20 min from the airport. You can get to London faster. Required that you went through a ridiculous sign-up process with a local phone carrier to get wifi or buy their "all-in-on" entertainment package. Did the latter as I do not want to supply my CC to yet another 3rd party just to get wifi. Did not work, called reception 5 times to get it to work, waited hours for a manager to call back. In the end I never got to finish my work. They did at east remove the cost from my bill. Not a positive experience at all.
