This is a good example of what is too good to be true is not. We booked this hotel on very cheap for a hotel in Earl's Court, and were utterly disappointed and disgusted to be honest. Small, crammed rooms, our room was dirty, old and had teared furniture, we found pubic hair, and dust everywhere. You could hear everything happening in rooms nearby. No words to describe our experience here. We had to run away at 11 pm after 1 hour in the room. Receptionist didn't know anything and wasn't very helpful.

we returned yesterday from 3 nights here over bank holiday weekend for my birthday the location is spot on 2 min walk to earls court tube. restaurants and shops all around. all these negative reviews had me thinking ohhh noo what have i done. my only negative were the very small rooms but i suppose thats standard for london. when we arrived we got room 10 right next to reception which was a result. on the next morning i told the manager the shower was hanging of the wall and leaking he promised to have it fixed on our return we got bavk in a 5ish and was fixed so fair play. then i asked for an iron and he went down staird set up the iron and board and put it away for you. breakfast was ok croisants, toast, eggs, yogurt, tea coffee all in all id go back at the drop of a hat. bargain 240 for 3 nights. u wont get that price anywere else in london. but i would hope they have a bigger room next time whivh i would request on booking. thanks wayne meehan

A great value, well staffed hotel, in a really good location. First the down-sides: carpet a bit worn in communal areas, shower pan in need of de-clogging to enable faster drainage, some in-room decor in need of updating. But, for the price, one of the best budget options in the area. Very friendly and helpful staff, good comfort levels in the room, working air con and TV. WiFi free, and at a good speed. My room, on the top floor, would not have been easy to access for some: dozens of steep steps. But, on checking in reasonably early, I was offered one on a lower floor if I wanted. I just looked on it as a free step aerobics class. The bathroom may also be an issue for some, being a bit tight. But, unless you're pretty large, it is workable. And you seldom get en suite for this price in this part of London. (nb. the hot water took quite a while to run through: not unusual in a property of this size and vintage). Cold breakfast buffet, with tea & coffee and toast, can be a bit of a free for all. But, hey: share a table, and make some friends! Location-wise: excellent. 5mins to Earls Court tube, with direct links to Heathrow, Chelsea FC, central London and all the sights. I've had experience of quite a few of the cheaper hotels in this part of town, and have a number of horror stories. For the price (I paid £37 for B&B), this is the best I've seen in a long while.

Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and all staff were very polite and marks for customer service! The continental breakfast was ok...a selection of fresh food and juices. Unfortunately the rooms were rather tacky and cleanliness could have been better. there were holes in the duvet cover...holes in the back of the door...the shower was hanging out of the wall...and it seemed the dusting had not been done for quite some time. The air conditioning also stopped working the morning we were leaving. The view was non existent...facing a wall and rubbish bins.

My daughter and myself booked in for one night ,before a day at the hospital, what a let down ,the beds were so hard and on wheels so that when you moved so did the bed, there was old blood stain in sheet, there was a few hooks to hang clothes ,the shower was broken, all in all a very unpleasant experience. We were asked in the morning if we wished breakfast we declined because of the state of the room. I would advise people to think twice before booking into this hotel . No value for money whatsoever

Our Two night stay in this hotel was a disaster from start to finish: First Night Room 20 6th April: Air conditioning not working, Toilet seat loose, sink plug hole blocked with waste hair etc, Internal handle to bathroom had no screw fixings, Hair dryer air tube got hot when using burning whatever it touched, 2 thin pillows, (requested additional pillows but told none available). Bed on wheels so to sit up caused the bed to roll from the wall, No latch lock to sash window 4th floor bed next to window, Room generally dirty, (Environmental Health). Breakfast consisted of Yogurt, bread cold meat and eggs in the basement, but this is not prepared by the hotel staff. You have to cook the eggs yourself in a most undesirable kitchen with the frying pan and saucepan stored in the in the oven… I asked the reception manager to fix the air conditioning as the room was unbearable on the first night, couldn't open the window as there was shouting in the street in the early hours of the morning. Requested that if the air conditioning could not be fixed then either offer an alternative room or to give the money back for the second night as we would return home. Receptionist said he would sought out the problem 100%. After returning after our first day out on the evening of the 7th April I asked the replacement shift receptionist on duty “what was the outcome of the air conditioning fault”? The receptionist new nothing and there were no messages left from the previous shift duty receptionist. I said I would check to see if the air conditioning was fixed, but it was not, I asked to be moved, so was moved to room 12 for the 2nd night. After moving into the room at around 8.00pm after our day out we found that there was No hot water supply to the sink or shower. I tried again at 8.28am the next morning and again No hot water. this was the worst hotel conditions I had ever stayed in my 57 years with the terrible service.

Great price and great stay, if you looking for a cheap stay in London that's is definitely place for you. I really recommend that to everyone and definitely will come back to this hotel. Service nice and breakfast included. Had room in basement but was more space then upstairs. Will go back

At the beginning of my stay, I wrote a review about this hotel ( tiny bathroom, no hygiene, no housecleaning, etc). Now let me tell what happened at the end of my stay : a light burnt out in the hotel stairs, so I missed a step, fell over and sprained my ankle. When I told the staff about it, the manager simply SCREAMED at me that the hotel was not responsible. They nearly refused to call a taxi to take me to the hospital, and my husband had to insist. There was no excuse the day after, or no enquiry as to the state of my ankle. The light bulb was NOT replaced ( one of the bulb in our room burnt out too and was not replaced either ); there was another family with 2 small kids in that hotel, and no security whatsoever. I'm French, I've travelled quite lot in Europe and Asia and Australia, I've never been treated so scornfully by a hotel staff and never stayed in such a horrible place !

Looks good on website or says newly refurbished....not sure when newly meant! The reception staff are brilliant. The room was depressing. Looking out onto bins and laundry from another hotel who began their work very very noisy. The bathroom was tiny and impossible to use with ease. The room was dark until you had to use 2 very bright lights that were either on or off so very bright in the evenings. Walls were stained with God knows it did look very shabby. No wi fi on my1st night which was very frustrating as I could not complete work I had needed to do. Breakfast was a huge bonus...I don't eat breakfast but it looked good and included in the price. No hot water on my final morning so had to brace myself for a cold shower....BUT the receptionist has acknowledged this and us arranging a refund for my last night there so in that sense....well done! Would I stay again..... it's not yes and it's not no! The biggest plus of the hotel is the staff!

there was no light in the room so i sat in the dark for hours dark and dingy and depressing i left my dog in kennels to come here and i i think her accommodation was possibly superior tiny room up loads of stairs
