The property could be cleaner. The location is great to get the metro
Please don’t stay here!! Very tiny rooms. Not even haha can fit. No elevator. Staff is so rude.
I parked in front of the hotel and the employee watched me park. The employee then took us to the check in area and spent 10 or 15 minutes checking us in and taking us to our room. We came back downstairs and out to the car about 15 minutes later to find a parking ticket for £125. At no time did the employee tell me that I needed to move my car to a Pay and Display area down the street from the property about 75 feet. When I spoke to the manager about this he stated that it wasn't the employee's job.
The place was conveniently located and the price was reasonable. The amenities were lacking and the facilities were outdated.
Good - air conditioning that worked well. Pleasant staff that carried bags upstairs. Lots of clean towels, as needed. Breakfast - staff gave us something to eat when we accidentallly came down late. Great location near Earl's Court Tube, ATM machine, good local places to eat and drink. Liked Prince of Teck, Masala's (Indian food), an Italian coffee shop ?name), Costa's shop great for scones and coffee in morning. Bad - One corner of room had large flakes of peeling paint (perhaps related to the board that had been nailed up to repair the ceiling?). Toilet seat loose - almost slid off when someone sat on it - staff notified. Broken toilet paper holder hanging by screw from wall but pointing downward, which caused the toilet paper to fall either in the toilet or on the floor. Too many stairs (3 floors). No place to put anything, except on the floor. No tea/coffee making amenities.
Excellent location: close to the underground (direct line from Heathrow Airport) and a supermarket (Sainsbury open till midnight). Room and bathroom very small. Very little space in the bathroom to leave your toiletries. TV only had 5 channels.
We arrived very late at night and the staff greeted us. The room was very small, but neat. We were within 3 blocks of the tube station and a nice neighborhood pub and grocery. It was a little bit difficult to locate but proved to be within walking distance of several parks, museums and shops. If you are thinking "resort" for this hotel, think again. It was a place to sleep and a place to depart from. Ideal for sightseeing, shopping and transportation.
I had some doubts and trepidation about staying here after seeing some very negative reviews online. But apparently the hotel has cleaned up its act. The room was TINY (as expected) -- even smaller than a cruise ship stateroom -- but overall it was clean. The staff was very friendly, and you can't beat the price for this hotel's location. It's just two easy blocks' walk to the Earl's Court tube station.
