Decided to stay here for one night as the hotel is in a quiet location but close to everything you could need. The decor is modern, the staff were efficient and friendly and the room size was small (as expected from the description) but did have a nice view out over the Square. Best of all, the bed was fantastic and is fully adjustable by remote to whatever position you want! Unfortunately the air conditioning kept switching itself off and the room got far too hot – I think it only came on when the room was above a certain temperature. The room temperature was perfect when the air conditioning was on, so it just needs an override. I only found this out during the night so there was no point mentioning it at the time, however I did get a reassuring response by email following my stay that it will be passed on their maintenance manager for rectification. The technology is good in theory, but it made the TV unnecessarily complex and the bathroom TV didn't sync correctly to get the bathroom speaker to work (I followed the instructions and tried all inputs). It’s a shame when technology is one of their unique selling points, but again is something which can be fixed. Bathroom caulking could also do with some TLC. All in all, a pleasant stay and depending on the price I would stay again to see if the negatives have been sorted out.
Hotel is ideally situated for all the fantastic bars and restaurants Victoria has to offer, and is very quiet despite it’s central location. I checked in with my partner for a night and we were instantly greeted by the hotel’s stylish decor and friendly, personable reception staff. We had a first floor balcony room which, albeit slightly smaller than perhaps one would imagine, was perfectly formed with enough gadgets to please all at this price point. Regretfully the great British Weather left much to the imagination, however, I should imagine the view from the balcony overlooking Eccleston Square in sunnier weather would be lovely. The super king size hästens bed was superbly comfortable, you simply won’t want to leave it behind. Our bathroom was bijoux, but suitably luxurious with a powerful multi head shower and television. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a couple’s getaway, or anybody seeking a quiet retreat and a great nights sleep in Central London. Great value and service, we both look forward to visiting again!
My wife and I stayed at the hotel for one night a couple of weeks ago (January 2018). it is only a short walk from Victoria station and is close to a number of shops and restaurants, so we found it to be very convenient for our stay. Our immediate impression was that the staff were very friendly and we were made to feel most welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, such as getting us extra coffee and milk, storing our luggage after we had checked out, lending us a phone charger etc. We were given a full explanation of all the gadgetry in our room and informed the contents of the mini-bar would all be complimentary, which was a lovely surprise. The room we had was on the first floor and had its own balcony, which would have been lovely to sit out on for breakfast in the summer. Some may find the rooms to be rather small, but as we were only staying for one night, and would be out for quite a bit of the time, then it was fine for us. A buffet continental breakfast is included, the selection of which was not vast, but we opted to each have a cooked breakfast, which was delicious. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this hotel.
The place pretends to be all mod con. The rooms were so small I could not even stretch in the morning. I was woken up by water from the shower from the floor above through the pipes at 5.30am after asking for a very quiet room. Poor response to this and no ability to watch a good football game on TV as they do not have the necessary subscription and had no intention on getting one . By the way there is also no gym. TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COST.
Definitely one of my favorite in London! Very conveniently located and has amazing staff. Everyone is extremely helpful and polite. It is definitely extremely well run! The hotel also has a very techy style and has all the latest equipment. The rooms are very clean and the whole hotel is in amazing shape! Room has Nespresso and water I am coming back here soon!
Fresh, clean and friendly. This family run and family owned hotel offers an updated and current product; smart bathrooms with 3 shower heads in the shower, fast WiFi, comfortable Hastens bed. Overall feeling is fresh. My queen room was compact at 13 sqm (wow!) but works. Felt generous with complimentary in room Nespresso and Evian water. Extremely friendly front office staff. The Italian hospitality works and the espresso is genuinely good.
Stayed here for work as it is super close to the office and handy to the train to Gatwick but the room was tiny. Lovely furniture, fabulous bed but there was hardly any space for my carry on suitcase. The shower room was also tiny. Thankfully I was on my own as I could not imagine two people staying in that room. Came back with colleagues and bar serves was a little slow and one of us had to figure out how to turn the fire on. Would only consider the hotel for a solo visit for one night only.
Thanks to Manuella and her team , we do love Their kindness , always a friendly word ! Ok rooms are à Little bit Tiny ! But we dont Care ! The staff is amazing and they gave us a lot of clues to enjoy our visit in London ! We Will come back and We Will stay in this hôtel again we do love this kindness ! I booked this hotel via Luxury Escapes, and I wasn't disappointed. A small, personable, luxury boutique hotel in central London with everything I needed and more. I stayed twice within a week so had two different rooms and they were both as good as each other. The beds have remote controls so you can adjust your head and leg angles, as well as massage if you want to be rocked gently to sleep! The TV is large, but I didn't spend any time watching it. The bathroom is small but the shower has 3 different types of shower head! Plus the glass door can be frosted at the touch of a button. Everything in the room is automated via touch panels on the wall and an ipad. The touch panels control the lights, the frosted glass and opening and closing of the blinds. The ipad has everything else. You can order room service on it and even a FREE Tea service. There is also a smartphone which guests can take out and about with them during their stay to use for maps and information etc. I did not use this. The room decor is very nice and the bathroom amenities are L'Occitane. The dining area and bar are small but very elegant. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and the bar is well stocked. The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from the Victoria Tube, Train and Coach stations and about a 10 or 15 min walk to Harrods! The staff are lovely and will make sure you have everything you need. I did take a particular fondness to Andrea on the front desk and Nuno Manuela in the bar and restaurant. Both were so lovely, I was sad to say goodbye to them!
We stayed for six nights. Welcome and service very friendly and competent. Very hi-tech. Local phone very useful. Can recommend this hotel for business as well as for tourism. Rooms rather tight but comfortable bed. Could do with a few more hooks to hang up coats and other clothing in the room. Thanking again all the staff, Andrea, Manuel, Manuela and Nuno.
