Very clean … wonderful! Lovely staff. The one disappointment was the blinds on two days were “stuck”, would not go up to see, of course, the amazing view. Reported, was fixed, then happened again but was checking out that day so did not report.

I booked the Shangri-La The Shard to celebrate my milestone 40th birthday. Unfortunately everything about my two-night stay at this hotel was shambolic. My birthday was overshadowed by a catalogue of errors and rude service which the hotel has acknowledged. I deeply regret staying at this hotel. I am writing this review to warn others considering booking a celebration at this hotel to book elsewhere. The view is undoubtedly fabulous but everything else is shambolic and certainly doesn't live up to the Shangri-La name.
