This looked like a nice place, but the handicapped room was not available as reserved, the entire first floor room was DAMP- the floors, the tile bathroom floor, the chairs, the bed covers, the curtains! The walls were paper thin so all night I could head thumping from above AND from next door. Children ran through the hallways yelling (apparently from the pool) til 1 am. The outside door next to the room I was in slammed from 4 pm to well after midnight. The lobby restroom which I was directed to since my room wasn't ready for check in, was not handicapped accessible and I couldn't even get in the stall with my walker. There was no vending machine and no restaurant. This may have been the WORST motel/ hotel experience of my long business and personal travel history. You SHOULD NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!

Nice staff , I spent one night , it’s a good choice relax waiting for your next flight

I have always had good luck with Clarion hotels. This Hotel is old and needs a total overhaul. Sign at the desk says that they are doing renovations but I could not see any work being done. Orbitz did not mention renovations on this listing. The wallpaper in the bathroom was coming off and being held on with Scotch tape. The entire hotel needs to be painted. Carpeting in my room and in the hallways were very dirty. When I checked in, I was given a room on the second floor and there is no elevator. This can be a challenge in itself for a person pushing 70. After dragging my suitcase up, I found that the room was not ready. The sheets from the previous guest were on the floor, beds were not made and bathroom not clean. I then had to go back to the front desk with my luggage and get another room. I asked for a first floor room and was told that none were available. So, I had to again drag my belongings up to the second floor. The hotel in general is dirty. It made me feel dirty and I was anxious to leave. It should be closed while they renovate properly.

The setting is serene! Close proximity! We were in an upgraded room, where the room part was very very nice, however the bathroom was lacking and needed some updating as well. I would definitely recommend this place for a night or 2 away if all you are looking for is a place to sleep!

Very nice people but it seems the staff did not really know what was happening. I was there for a wedding and knew what to expect at the hotel in terms of arrangements the bride and groom had made for the weekend. However, staff did not know when the arranged shuttle was leaving, did not keep the bar open late as arranged, and were generally very nice but unhelpful. Housekeeping opened the door without knocking 2 hours before check-out, which could have been very awkward but luckily I was fully dressed and they quickly apologized and left. We also had a toilet that had a very weak flush, causing toilet paper that had already gone down to come floating back up minutes later.

The picture of the hotel is misleading. The hotel is actually to the right, not the old historic house. The lobby is pretty, beds comfortable and staff was wonderful. We arrived late at night to find a torn shower curtain, a hole in the shower ( looked like someone punched it), and ants marching on our bedside table. Additionally, the lamp didn't work next to our bedside and there was no TV signal. The front of the AC unit was falling off. The next morning I did relate our experience to the front desk manager. She was very gracious and professional. She stated that it is under new management and they are working diligently on fixing the problems. This hotel does have potential! Great location and helpful staff. Its worth another try when things get renovated.

This hotel desperately needs an update. While the room was a great price and the staff friendly, I could feel the springs in the bed, the carpet literally had huge holes in it, the bathroom was run down and the HVAC was difficult to control.

We had a good time and it was nice. The location is a complicated because I had to make a long U-Turn when I needed to go to Sterling.

The hotel is conveniently located and easilty accessible - though you need to go past and come back whe arriving from the west. The hotel is a bit tired. The keys needed to be re-programmed several times during our 2 day stay, the shower curtain rod in our room was barely hanging on the wall and the so the curtain would not stay closed. The towel also could have been cleaner.... The bed was great, and the TV also - just the bathroom and the corridors were really beat up and need to be updated.

The hotel needs to update their AC. The AC filter were very dirty. The hotel does not offer continental breakfast.

understaffed in F/B and especially bar. overpriced for location

Stayed one day and night; friendly front desk/general manager. Adequate room and amenities.

We only stayed for one night but I would have been more than comfortable staying longer. The room was very clean, the bathroom was very clean and spacious and there was everything all right there. I would have liked to been able to use the pool but it was not opened yet which I thought was odd being almost end of June. But all in all it was a great place we had a great stay and it was reasonably priced when compared to others that were in same area. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

Old Holiday Inn that bought new linens. Once you get in the room it is better but the whole place is depressing. Don't plan to walk anywhere.

We were very excited to stay at this hotel that appeared, from the website, to have a little extra charm. But once we arrived, we were a bit disappointed. The staff was neither very helpful nor courteous. The room looked like it needed some cleaning TLC (especially in the bathroom... the grout was so dirty) They are in need of an upgrade, and better management.

Great location and wonderful room. However, the only downside was the noisy housekeeping staff in the morning. It was about 9:30 AM and we were awakened by the sound of loud talking and laughing right outside our door. This continued for a good 20 minutes before it finally ended. Other than that the room was great. One thing though, if you're short, the bed is hard to get into as it is quite high.

Had two rooms. Had to ask for clean towels. No toothpaste! No coffee jug in coffee maker in either rooms. Nothing bad but very basic and expensive.

We stayed here for a wedding and were surprised at how nice it was -- especially the room itself. We were very close the laundry area, so when we first arrived, we could hear something thudding very audibly in the dryer, but it only lasted an hour or so. Overall, very pleased.
