Cheap is one thing, but with below par cleanliness in the room, a barely working a/c, no extractor in the shower room, a blinking light this hotel was such a dissapointment. The noise of construction from the hotel goes all day until late at night I wasn't feeling well on my 3rd day here and just wanted a nap only to find my earplugs were missing I searched absolutely everywhere even though they should have just been on the side so obviously housekeeping threw them away as there is no other explaination, reception don't care and say they don't provide those. Something I have paid for and need to sleep has been thrown away and I have no replacement or compensation and I can't sleep. Absolute nightmare.
Non stop renovation from 10am to 4 pm, and on the second day of stay, drilling till 11pm, No point informing front desk, nothing done. room condition was bad, cockroach running around, carpet was with visible stain, shower mixer handle drop off ! got a renovated room previously but was given an old crappy room on the 8th(a smokey "non-smoking floor") on this stay. will consider other hotels from now on . The only good thing about this hotel is the price and the under ground car park which is always full that cost RM10.
This place was the worst third class in all my far east trip. The Hotel was undergoing renovation. The dining rooms were good but as soon as we go to our rooms we find the lower grade. Bathrooms are so tiny and barely serving utility that we thought that the faster we move out of this place to our next destination its better. there is a very wide variety of public entering the Hotel so we did not find it very friendly to sit around the reception with our children and our group tour co passengers. the reception staff is not so understanding and did not change our room till we made it clear to them that we will not accept due to plumbing problem. Range is not available of the WiFi even though they supply you with the password in your room. thus in the late night when I had urgent overseas call was forced to go down near reception and I saw to my surprise my tour managers and other co passengers were here also for using their mobile phones.
This place is located near the shopping street called China Town. While we were happy about the fact and went out till late night to see the market , the night turned out to be a disaster. The rooms were alright but the bathrooms very old and barely served utility. the Hotel was undergoing renovation they said. We were in a group tour and would never have dream of any problems. It was here that at 3 pm the water in the bathroom pipe bursted. then we phoned the hotel reception and the plumber came instantly but he carried on his work for nearly 3 hours. having a hectic onward journey it is bad if you do not get to sleep even at night. although they were trustworthy and professional in their work, but we could neither sleep nor change our room at that hour of the night. the next morning after telling my tour guide and manager he promised to change us. We accompanied him to the reception where they were totally ignorant and said plumber has doe the work and the other rooms are not free till later in the day. After pushing my way and telling them repeatedly that I will not be there in the daytime as I am with my group tour, and would not bear any further inconvenience. It was then that they agreed and shifted our room. Already a lot of my time and peace had been wasted . The second night in the other room was uneventful but throughout the journey I could not forget the jinx of that Hotel.
We stayed there for 4 day 3 night. The room was clean.. everyday cleaner came in the room to clean and changed the towel.. The staff was very friendly..About the food it okey not bad.. This hotel also located in middle of city Kuala lumpur.. i like the view from our room we can see the Menara Petronas.. and the city. Unfortunately, there was no swimming pool here..😅
The hotel is Average, good location, friendly staff but a thing needed to be changed such as “Hand towels” in wash room. When asked upon for it they said they don’t have it till the 2nd floor on top of that they told us that our room was upgraded which was quite Strange because hand towel is quite common. Over all
Our stay was spoilt by a security staff ( Amerrudin) After we checked out, we wanted to take a family photo in front of a Christmas tree and since he was standing near us we ask him to help take a photo for us. To my surprise, he just say NO rejecting our request. We had stayed so many hotels and never once seen such attitude from bell boys or security staff. Cannot imagine this hotel management can employ such staff that give bad impression to guests. Hotel also need to upgrade door key system. It took us more than 20 times swiping the key card to get our room door open. Room No : 814. Should be check the lock system immediately.
Arrived there with my wife late in the afternoon at Ancasa and unfortunately we had a cold welcomed by night staff. However the day staff was very warm and greeted us with a big smile the next morning when we went for breakfast. The room (8th floor) was filled with dust, you could see the layer of dust on the glass table and tv and toilet space was very tight and the bathroom equipment were old and rusty. The air condition was defective, we couldn't regulate temperature. It was set below 22 degree and each time had to switch off when it was too cold and switch on when hot. However we were pleased to see that there were shampoo (refiled everyday), soap, towels, kettle (but smelly), wet clothe rack, a safe, an iron for clothes, wifi. My room was facing China town and unfortunately had all the fume exhauts from vehicle coming in my room, so had to keep window shut. For breakfast there is a variety of food, rice, noodles, toast etc. Food was good. The hotel is also found in a good place where you can find taxi, bus and mono rail station within 2 mins walk. China town is 1.0 mins walk from hotel plus there is KFC MacDonald and lots of places to eat nearby. There are also ATMs, money changers around.
During check-in,staff at receptionist very helpful. For the Hotel Room, there is some problem due to during 1st entering to the room, all lights are Switch ON eventhough without hotel card put in the slot.Got me scary feeling due to im staying alone. There is No "Qiblat" signage for perform prayer and need to call housekeeping to show it to me.
The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. They enjoyed playing with my infant son. The room was well organised, the location amazing, across street from McCafe for the daily dose of Java. However, the following areas need management attention : Water boiler broke down twice during our 3 day stay, equipments not maintained well. Bathroom lights decided to die out during our stay. Room service regularly forget to stock water, tea and coffee. Towels were worn out. Breakfast requires more variety. The coffee is very weak, the selection frugal. No cheese. Egg station only thing worth waiting for. More fruit variety required. Availability of honey instead of syrup for pancakes etc. With the above considerations, this hotel can easily reach a higher plateau.
