The physical look of the hotel is fine, average. However what really disappoints me is that they don't provide basic toiletries! They don't have a toothbrush, toothpaste, sleepers, even towels they forgot to put it inside my room! Breakfast is average. Not much. Basic nasi lamak, bread and eggs. Room is dirty, bed is dusty, carpet is stained and dirty. The toilet basin is dirty as well! Not worth the money either your staying alone or with family. My room is located beside the MRT line so I cant sleep and its very noisy!
Customer service is low , great location , food is not good, hotel room is average, plenty of shopping around the hotel. Not enough employees to serve the customers. Some of the room facilities not working properly
Love the location of this hotel. One minute walk away from the popular Chinatown with great food. The room is big enough for a queen size bed. We requested to add another bed and there is still plenty room to move about. Great for family with children.
I just did a Check in by 9AM. Mr. Ali who was at the reception with a smiling face welcomed us and provided Early Check in free of charge where the usual Check in time is 1PM. We are totally happy and we have been upgraded to Deluxe room. His way of handling matters and gestures and greetings made us happy though we are tired after a long flight travelling from previous day night. Hats off Sir. We will be having a memorable stay at this Property for next 4 days. Breakfast spread was awesome. It was a buffet which had variety of Indian, Malysian and Western at the Coffee Shop (Main Restaurant) Rooms are good and spacious but it is time to go for a room renovation. Regards Saras
Stayed in Ancasa with family and friends. Good location. Good rooms. It was great that they accommodated us on the same floor as we booked 4 rooms all together. One thing I noticed was we were booked in a room in front of a room with a broken door that is always half open and looks so creepy. The place were a little bit old. Carpets and curtains in the room were a bit dusty, and couldn't help myself but sneeze all the time with my allergic rhinitis. Staff were really friendly. Breakfast was good. But overall, enjoyed my stay in Kuala Lumpur.
The hotel is very nice and clean. The shuttle bus quite late need to improve more.Near the Twin Town. The staff also helpful. The food was great.quite noisy in the morning. I will come back if i come to Malaysia.
Stayed here for 3 nights, Location is good, Breakfast was ok with both asian and western choices. At the time of my visit I couldn't access the gym due to maintenance. Service was ok, Wifi not the best
Booked a deluxe room on a high floor but given a superior room on the 4th floor. Not happy. Staff were not helpful. Room facilities were adequate.Breakfast were not as good as previous stay.Used to have Curry chicken with the Nasi Lemak..Hot food were lukewarm.Location was good. Some renovation work going on.
We stayed in this because of its location (we have been here before). 30 of us stays in 15 rooms & at least half complained whilst in the bus that morning. We thought to having checked into a slightly upgraded hotel compare to previous. Taking a bath was a battle to keep our clothing dry, our hair, the towels & worst, the whole vanity top & electrical were splashed with water sprouting from the shower heads.....(Described) there is a fountain within. So not many of us realise & have to use the wet towel to dry us off & hang the wet night wears blasting the airconditioner. While seated on the bed just that few seconds ago sparring our thoughts about how this hotel could improve, , a brown bug (the size of a lady-bird), & with small black spots landed on my arms....wanting to smash it, it quickly hop of & with a heavy heart, could not find it any where around.....Huh, a bug??? not sure what type is in our room & probably on our bed....we stayed in room #922...(lest some action can be taken). The worst was yet to come. 30 or us alighted into the Café, for our in-house breakfast....(6.30am start to 9.30am). Our departure was 8.45am. At 7.30am having seated, we circled the whole restaurant....we circled the restaurant probably the sixth time now,,, yes sixth time & there were no food (not enough food)...I asked for a piece of butter twice & non came for the next 10 minutes.... No more Nasi-Lemak, no more plain porridge, no more noodles, no more cups nor drinks, no more fruits, no more everything including butter. The noodle counter has its fish balls & fish cakes cleared but they were SOUR according to many in the group who tried..... only the egg counter served by a petite girl, has a long queue (she was overworked that morning). Even hard boil eggs there was NONE. 20 minutes now, feeling frustrated & short changed I hunted for the tour leader but no where to be found (he was late)... I approached the Hotel counter to ask for its General Manager or whoever, to very quickly top up the food, drinks, cups, or anything edible to be on the buffet table. Alas, A Hungry Group is An Angry Group. Many counters started to be top up....the porridge even has salted eggs to go along. A staff took pictures of the food counter upon the top-up probably in anticipation of this complaint, or to cover their own "Backside". Why would they wait for 30 or more minutes to start topping up?? Didn't they anticipate the number of guest the number of days staying??? Too many questions remain to be answered by the management.
Wrote to the manager in advance to request for connecting and upgraded rooms but sadly the requested action was not taken and staff during check in was uncleared and appeared confused. We dont blame the staff as the hotel seemed to be overbooked. Kudos to the housekeeping staff who are prompt in their responses. Some rooms lights were not functioning and very dim. The water heater temperature was too hot. We did not call for the technician as it was already late and as the hotel was going through upgrading, we adjusted with the basic. The lift for some reasons is programmed to stop automatically at all the floors when going down...Can be annoying if you are in a rush to check-out in the morning. Whatsmore, this hotel is popular for large groups - Spotted a group of Sri Lanka tourists & Singapore tourists . Breakfast spread was average. Food was saltish, the bread was hard and the ladies service staff could be friendlier... Not worth for the RM30. You could get better choice at the nasi padang shop downstairs/walk to Family Mart for some fresh sandwiches. Suggest to choose this hotel only if you want convenience as its very near to Chinatown and KL Hop On Bus service (Alights at Kota Raya Shopping Center, where most Filipino goods can be bought). Tips: Book the shuttle service in advance with the reception staff. They provide daily shuttle from hotel to KLCC & Bukit Bintang area daily 10.00am & 11.30am (one way)
