We stayed for 3 nights at the executive floor. We had 2 rooms, both very nice and with heavenly beds (the best). Service at the executive floor is top! My husbands stays here a few times a year. Breakfast is very good and in the evening cocktail hours with food are great. Very tasty food and again great service. During the day the lounge is a good place for a cappuccino. The gym is very good also. The pool area has only few loungers, that was no issue during weekdays, but on Saturday there was a birthday party in the bar area of the pool and it was very crowded with children. The location of the hotel is superb to explore KL.
The hotel room is always an important place to me. Due to the fact that it is the place you return to after a long day of business meeting when you are travelling. Staffs are always smiling and welcoming. Taxi service was excellent. Never to have to rent a car due to the efficiency of the services. Only selected taxi drivers can be part of Westin. Westin never fail to give me the ever soothing feeling every time I step back into my room feeling tired. With the comfy and spacious design. Work and rest at its best. I'll be back soon.
Perfect location in Bukit Bintang right across the Pavilion shopping mall. Stayed 5 nights in a 1-bedroom suite equipped with a large bedroom, a full size bathroom, a small study room, and a large kitchen with a dining table. Helpful staff. Great facilities.
The hotel stay and experience was flawless. The Check-in was friendly and professional and the service just great. I did not like the retaurant because a. the waiters struggled a lot with speaking and understanding English b. It was very complicated to order ... e.g. Why can't I have just plain rice to a duck. There is no plain rice in a Malaysian Westin restaurant????
I stayed at westin KL from 12-14 oct. when i checked in, front desk told me that everything was settled and no payment needs to be made. However one month later, i tried to use my card and it has been blocked. I went to my bank and they confirmed a transaction has been made on 02 november by westin kl. I immediately called them and asked why is there another payment. They so called investigate and send me an email stating that they had a system glitch on their edc machine and the machine did not capture the payment. Now, before i left for kl i called my bank and they told me a transaction was made by westin on 9 oct. and right now they made another transaction on 2 nov. All they could do is apologise. This is a very serious error and only an apology from the accounts department was received. I have to head to my bank and get a new card as the previous one cant be used anymore because of westin's carelessness and also i dont feel safe using the previous card anymore fearing westin would deduct again for the third time. The stay was wonderful. But i will never return again as i never had this issue with grand hyatt or hilton. Because of westin, i had to inconvenience myself going back and forth to the bank. And all they could explain was, 'sorry it was a glitch'. Such a disappointment coming from an spg 5 star establishment. Avoid if possible. Stay at grand hyatt, hilton or st regis. They take care of their guest better than westin. Nope, never coming back again. Terrible experience and i had to go through so much hassle for this. I needed to use my card for an emergency yesterday and to my shocked it has been blocked just because of westin. My invoice says that it has beed paid but right now, another transaction was made on 2 nov by westin. Good job westin.
Excellent service & friendly staff. Always a pleasant stay. Perfect location in the heart of the city. Spacious clean rooms, great amenities & restaurants. The only hotel I stay at whenever I’m in KL.
The only downside was slow elevators - waiting 5 minutes sometimes. But a really pleasant business stay. Everyone at the hotel was most pleasant and helpful, especially the guys at the front doors, each time a pleasant and warm smile (They do a great job). Check in and out was very efficient. Food was A1.
a very comfortable stay, was here for 3 nights for a conference. the hotel is in strategic location, the shopping malls are just near by. walking distance to KLCC. long check out process though. Gym is well equipped with cardio machines and free weights. slow elevator , and getting worse in the morning.
Realised I left my belt in the room after returning to my country. Informed hotel & they promptly informed me they found it & will have it kept till I arrange to retreive it! Have left my house charger before & they too kept it on my behalf. Central location easy access to great shops & food outlets. Wonderful team of dedicated staff.
The hotel located just opposite The Pavillion Shopping Mall. It is exactly located at the heart of the city. The hotel is nice, have a spacious room. It is a nice staycation. MRT is just nearby within walking distance.
