Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur5.0 out of 5.0

Was upgraded to a Suite and had use of the club lounge facilities. Great venue and location for accessibility to and fro KLIA airports via the KL Express. The staff and team were all extremely hospitable and it was indeed a 5* experience. Will return to more stays at this hotel, in fact, have booked for more nights in July 2017 !
I recall staying at this hotel when it first opened and had since avoided it for the lacklustre service, and rooms peppered in a ghastly shade of green. It is located adjacent to the Hilton KL and always came across as a poorer country mouse of a cousin. My recent stay has changed my mind about the place. Pleased to report that the assaulting green has been all but removed from its design elements and the contemporary artistic flair of the Le Meridien brand have thankfully been introduced. The gym is well sized although the machines are quite old. The facilities are shared with the Hilton KL though. However the travellers at both must not be avid gym goers as my two visits were to a gym which was practically empty. Which suits me just fine. All in all a pleasant experience. Service with a smile all round which is, in my experience, uncharacteristic of Malaysian hotel attitudes.
This is our "go-to" hotel in KL the hotel is spotless, the staff friendly & courteous in all departments... location is superb - short KLIA express, Taxi or coach ride to airport(KLIA or KLIA2) as well as being next to Central for all local trains in/out of KL, close to shopping mall & National Museum. we're SPG platinum - we're looked after very well. free WIFI (good connectivity & speed) we enjoy most access to the club lounge for breakfast, afternoon tea & evening canapes & drinks, always a wide, fresh, tasty offerings...
Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great experience with the overall service provided by the hotel staff. Impeccably clean from the hotel lobby, function rooms, hotel room & dining areas... Staff was polite and patient. As I was there for a workshop, the staff in charge was extremely helpful with our requests - for this I give a thumbs up!! Importantly it is so centrally located and next to NU Sentral Station which links you to the airport via KLIA Express besides other train lines running to other parts of Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, etc. Overall, I truly had an awesome experience!
The location has an easy walk across to from KL Central, just half an hour away by fast train from the airport. Staff were friendly, modern, clean, spacious, quiet and well equipped rooms. Wifi was very fast and it's free, good to support my work.
Excellent hotel, expensive but clearly top class. We spend our last day of our holiday here, with a late checkout at 6pm (rm 250++), which made us completely relaxed for our 12 hour flight back home. It's also very closely located to the train station and the KLIA express to the airport, it's literally a 2 min walk. The pool is the masterpiece of this hotel, it's shared with the adjacent Hilton. It's very big, including a slide and there are two bars that also serve lunch. Great place to spend a day of relaxing. The hotel has various restaurants. We tried the one in the lobby, which is the most casual one. Good food and drinks. Breakfast great with a huge amount of choices and options. Rooms are spacious with excellent beds and the best shower I've ever come across. Only four stars because we didn't find the staff very friendly. They are all professional and efficient, but don't really make you feel at home.
I have been staying here the past year after my terrible experience in Sheraton Imperial, and I must say it's been an excellent experience and I am very appreciative of the service of the team and the hotel is amazing to stay in ! the only feedback I have is that the aircon isn't that cold in some of the rooms i have stayed at, but overall it's smaller than Sheraton but still reasonable and very comfortable !
incredible hotel, incredible value. i'm spg platinum and got a nice suite. very nice rooms. great staff. the lounge is absolutely amazing. incredible breakfast Buffett was included in my room or maybe SPG perquisite. i would come back here again and again.
I stayed here after a late arrival at KLIA. Easy to walk across to from KL Sentral, just half an hour away by fast train from the airport. Friendly, accommodating, welcoming service. Modern, clean, spacious, quiet and well equipped rooms. Staff will go the extra mile to be hospitable. I arrived late, just before the hotel's restaurants were closing, but the restaurant staff cheerfully served me with excellent food and wine even though I was the only diner. WiFi was FAST and available to allcomers throughout the hotel.
The hotel is just a step outside of the train station (KL Sentral) that's connected to the airport by just a 30 minute train ride. And also being so near Sentral made it super easy to get around the city and not have to worry about being stuck in weekend traffic. Staff are so friendly and accommodating to guests' needs. We had no issues with the room or amenities. Highly recommend that you take time to visit the pool and poolside restaurants.
