We stayed for 3 nights here. This is the 2nd time we choose and stay. The suite is fantastic. Staff are as usual very accommodating. From the front desk to the concierge... totally first class. Our special thanks to En. Fazly @ Latest Recipe for his warm personality and hospitality. If there was such an extra mile points for the staff, we will definitely give to him.
I have definitely been a SPG Platinum for a couple years and had visited countless of FIVE Star hotel around the world including Le Meridien KL for many many times. Last visited here was at least 6 months ago due to tight scheduled however I am still very amazed by the service level that was offered to their Platinum member. I was being greeted with my name immediately by the club lounge staff and the manager at level 33 without even getting my room number. Offering in the club lounge for the evening cocktail remain one of the most extensive choices in KL by far. The rest of the facilities remain the best as per my previous reviews and if you have yet to experience a true five star hotel hospitality then this is one of the property you must try! Such experience really makes me coming back again!
This is relative brand new hotel across from a train station and mall, with convenient access to downtown and the airport. I was there for a conference and the facilities and staff were first rate. The breakfast was delicious -- with seemingly unlimited choice of Asian, Japanese, continental, omelettes, waffles, and crepes. The coffee is really good. It has an excellent gym, shared with the Hilton, that offers all kinds of machines and classes. The pool area and bar are a great way to unwind after a long day. The conference facilities are excellent, though most lack natural sunlight. The staff are very helpful and responsive. The Italian restaurant in the hotel is descent, but nothing to write home about. The pasta is served al dente, but lacks umpf. Overall, this is a modern, luxury hotel with very comfortable and good sized rooms with a great bathroom and amenities. The SPG lounge on the top floor has an amazing view of the city and is a quieter and more intimate than the breakfast area. I would definitely come back. .
Just spent a weekend at Le Meridien in Kuala Lumpur with my family, which includes 2 children age 2 and 9. We knew the location was good, as it is just outside central station and therefore very easy to reach with the train from the airport - avoid the taxi, it takes forever from the airport, traffic is bad in KL! As we are platinum members we were upgraded to a suite, which had a separate living room. We had this way plenty of space to place a rollaway bed for my son and a crib for my daughter. The rooms are decorated in a modern and contemporary style, but still comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and had an amazing big shower and bathtub. Everything was new and kept very clean. Breakfast is good, with selections from japanese to indian, chinese, malay and international. The smoothies and the pastries are of outstanding quality. It is quite busy during the weekend, but we didn't have to wait and everything was constantly replenished. The lounge is very beautiful and offers a variety of drinks. Didn't get to try the food as we went outside serving hours. All in all a very good hotel and a convenient choice for its location. Friendly with kids, but not sure if they are allowed in the lounge after 6..
My fourth stay. Each time I stay I appreciate the hotel more and more. It's centrally located so coming and going is a breeze. Latest Recipe the hotel buffet is awesome. Plenty of selections and priced fairly. Fadzly the supervisor goes out his way to insure each guest experience the warmth of Malaysian hospitality. I stand by my other review of Le Meridian. A real five star hotel making each stay feel like "no place like home."
The best part is, It’s the partner hotel under SPG loyalty program. Same rooms as in hilton which is adjacent to it, gym and fitness centre are shared with Hilton. What more, a bit bit cheaper than Hilton. Late checkout allowed till 4’O clock. Stayed here for 3 weeks!

Kudos to The Executive Chef Antoine Rodriguez of Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur for the amazing Club Lounge! One of the Best Dining Experiences in a Hotel I have had it here in Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur! Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. From the time I checked in until I checked out, the service is simply marvellous. The room is big and clean. The bed is so comfortable. Anything I need, they will fulfil it immediately. The gym and pool are equally fantastic. Dining in this hotel is also an awesome experience especially in Favola. The location is so strategic as it is minutes away from KL Sentral.
Le Meridien - a hotel advocating a true non biased service approach. I would like to thank two individuals for making my stay a truly wonderful experience - Mr. Fauzy Wahab (Hotel Manager) and Mr. Virost Ikelap (Front Office Manager). Firstly, Mr Virost - I was headed for some local food in a non air conditioned setting hence casually attired (shabby). To cut a long story short, I booked a Uber ride that wasn’t familiar with the area, took 45 minutes before the driver decided to cancel. Mr. Virost was standing beside me the whole time, offered to call the driver thrice, provide directions to the driver and negotiated for the driver to cancel the booking. A second Uber ride was booked, and Mr. Virost continued to check in if he could render assistance. Now for Mr. Fauzy - I was returning from an appointment, and had to rush to catch a flight. I made the decision to change out of corporate clothes, but had checked out earlier in the day. I decided to change using the facilities at the pool, and bumped into Mr Fauzy on the same floor. I was pleasantly surprised when he offered facilities on the executive club floor for use. There was no request involved, he escorted me to the executive club floor and made the necessary arrangements. Fast forward, I bumped Mr Fauzy when I was leaving the hotel, shook his hands, and thanked him again. At that point, I realised he was doing his rounds and he went the extra mile. Just for clarity, in corporate terms, Mr Fauzy would be the number two man of the hotel. No airs, all service.
Had so much difficulty with an Uber driver who didnt seem to able to find his wag. Virost stepped in to offer his personal hp to call the driver on behalf. He attempted twice to explain. We gave up in the end. Booked another uber and he came and check in with us if all was good... awesome and. Extremely hospitable, thanks Virost Ikelap!
