The hotel is not in city center but the access is very easy with the LRT route and only 5 minutes from nearest station, the room is clean with the visible concept of bathroom is interesting, the staff are welcome and the restaurant serve the local cuisines are delicious, overall will recommend to stay in this hotel for business trip or vacation.

Stayed a night in this hotel before leaving KL. Chose this hotel because of the brand and price. Location wasn’t a big issue for us as we had a car. I don’t recall any restaurants nearby that I could reach on foot. Ordered room service as I arrived quite late and restaurants in hotel are closed. Food was good. Room was relatively big, clean and pleasant although I felt the bath tub wasn’t that clean (there was a bath tub and shower).

I would request you all to take your time to read this so you dont get cheated off your money and so you can book a much better, different hotel and enjoy your holiday instead of suffering. Firstly for the money we paid for this hotel we expected at least great service, we weren't even expecting excellent service because we know 100% amazing hospitality is a rare find. But what we got was not even close to good. It was horrifying. Let me start off with check in. We got to the front desk at 3pm, the lady attending to us was a trainee and she was pleasant. No problems checking in. We got our room on the 11th floor room 1107. The moment we stepped into the room we realised how dull and boring the interior is. The room itself gives off a very depressing vibe. For a 5 star hotel you would have guessed they would give the deco an extra thought and make it look at least a little comfy. However at firat sight other than it looking depressing you would think there was nothing wrong with the room. Here is where the problems begin. 1. The TV was small and placed really low opposite the bed so if you're laying down on the bed you have to crank your neck up really high to be able to watch it. None of the TV channels were clear, you end up getting a headache trying to concentrate watching the blurry screen. There were many good movies playing but we could not enjoy them due to the bad quality of the TV. 2. The sofa at the corner of the room had stains on it. Since it was black any white stains were very visible. 3. The toilet looked fine at first glance until you actually use it. 3.1 The shower door does not have a blocker at the bottom of it to block water from seeping out of the shower cubicle. So everytime you shower the water pours out of the shower cubicle intot he rest of the washroom from underneath the gap of the door. This gets everything wet including all the floor mats. 3.2 I was actually excited to use the bathtub, this was the biggest reason i booked this hotel. The bathub itself was a nice size and clean. However after using the bathtub we realised the carpet in the room right next to where the bathtub is was soaking wet! Basically when you used the bathtub somehow the water seeps out into the room carpet making it soaking wet. The whole toielt side of the bed carpet was filthy soaking wet. Amd when we informed housekeeping. All they did was put a air blower into our room facing the carpet while we were out. And we came back to our room smelling of pungent wet carpet with an extremely loud air blower. No one came back into our room to check on this nor did anyone from the hotel itself contact us offering us a room change or anything. We had to sleep through the wet carpet smell which was worst than my partner snoring. 4. Lets now get to the breakfast. Our second day there we had free breakfast so we woke up excited to go and fill our hungry stomachs. However we were extremely dissapointed with the variety of food. There were very little options of food and most of it was cold. The hotel staff also did not ensure the food was replenished fast. I was glad to see there was a made to order egg counter. I ordered a cheese scrambled omelette. However when the egg was ready and i had a taste it tasted horribly bitter. Like something was wrong with it. I had a few more bites just to make sure it was just not my taste buds acting weird. Once i was sure there was definitely something wrong with the egg, i called one of the staff members to inform them and they pointed me to a man in a suit and told me to bring my complaint to him. Which i did. Here is where things get bad 1. This man in a suit came up to me with the most horrible sour face and asked me whats wrong. I wished him good morning and he didn't even bother to wish me back. That's fine, courtesy is not everyone's forte. So i explained to him nicely that there is something wrong with your egg mixture please get it checked before someone get's a stomach ache. And all he saif back to me was ' our eggs are made ready to order there is nothing wrong with them' sternly. I was abit taken aback on the answering back to your hotel guest. I was just informing him to get the egg mixture checked before someone falls really sick and he did not even have the courtesy to tell me sorry or even a 'ill go and check on this and make sure nothing is wrong' he just looked at me angrilly and told me. ' you can order something else like maybe a sunny side up' . And he walked away. Not even an apology or a reassurance. I was appalled at the low level of hospitality this man in charge had. How are you running a hotel with such arrogant attitude. This one experience was a big turn off for us. We didn't even bother to have the free breakfast the next day. 5. The blanket in the room was extremely flimsy and cheap. When you looked thriugh the blanket under a light you could see there was no cotton at all in the blanket itself and the only little cotton in the blanket was clumped up together in less than 10 clumps. I almost died of hypothermia at night due to this. You're basically only sleeping with 2 pieces on bedsheets on you. Trust me if you do somehow book this hotel after all this. Look at the blanket underneath the light. You will see there is no cotton in the blanket. Its just 2 pieces of cloth. After paying the high amount we did for this hotel we hoped to at least have a good stay as most of our time was going to be spent in the hotel. However we were beyond dissapointed. Never again will we be booking this hotel. And we would advice anyone who is thinking of booking this hotel NOT TO book it. There are so many better hotels in KL even with lesser stars and still has better service. We gave Pullman a chance and all we got in return was a big waste of money and huge dissapointments. Please think twice before booking this hotel. Its not up to the 5 star par it claims to be.

We stayed in a deluxe. It’s spacious, nicely designed. Really enjoyed the breakfast as the spread is really wide and it’s delicious and spaced out. The staffs are friendly. Location is also convenient (about 10-15 mins) drive to Midvalley mall, Damansara, KLCC etc. Housekeeping was a little sloppy, could have been better but not terrible. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay. Recommended!

Enjoyed my stay . Ideal for business if you going to be based in Bangsar . Ambiance OK although i felt they could added a bit of touch to the room in particular . Paid for an airport transfer the night before ?? 10/11 0600hrs departure it was from the Hotel - The bloke at the reception did NOT seem to bother / The dude at the Conciege tried to help alas there was no TAXI 25 minutes later on insisting for my transfer the DM arranged one ut NO one see to be aware ??bad for a so called 5 star Overall i liked the stay but the transport folks at Pullman ruined my feel towards you HTLs

I travel a lot for work. And i love staying at various different hotels each time i am in that particular town. Somehow I prefer and i cant wait to put up a night's rest after After a long day of driving around meeting clients. The room is spacious, pristine and elegantly decorated. modern n complete. Love the tub especially. I swear that's the most fav part i lOve about this hotel. Feel safe for lone lady traveller like me. For room service.. Do order the nasi goreng. It really is tasty.

Positive: + Room size very big. + Breakfast is excellent. + Nearby shopping mall, and Bangsar town + Gym was good Negative: - Location. - Route by car is not easy. - Swimming pool . especially kid pool. - Front desk service. - Not well maintained.

I am a very frequent business visitor to the Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar. I always find the staff friendly and welcoming and happy to make my stays comfortable. The rooms are modern and spacious and a good place to work and sleep. The executive lounge has a good selection of quality food and drinks in the evening and the breakfast buffet in the lounge is a great way to start the day.

I have stayed in this hotel numerous times since its opening a few years back and I have always had a high regard for its standard of service and accommodation, but I have to say the overall quality of this establishment has moved backward. I got my usual upgrade and welcome drink with my Accor membership status but everything else seems different from the past. Entering the room there was no ready air-conditioning unlike prior visits and part of my preferences registered with Accor, even the slippers are of an inferior quality and no more welcome gift (though I never like the sweet taste of the “macaron” biscuits). The mini-bar was empty and the ball-point pen used to be in the stationery set is now a pencil, I believe in cost efficiency but not being compromised with apparent down-grading. Perhaps I have higher expectation when I am a leisure traveler since previous stays were all business related, but not washing the used tea cups and missing the face towels on the last day were definitely not acceptable by “5-star” standard. There was water leaking from the bathroom onto the hallway after my wife washed her hair using the bath-tub! I can’t say breakfast was lack of varieties as the number of food stations has always been the same, but the food quality certainly left a lot to be desired and most westerners would find it uninteresting. Sunday morning was virtually a market place and an early breakfast on another morning saw tourist groups cleaning out the food and not being promptly replenished. I personally considered the guest profile of the hotel has been changed from day one. I have no issue with a lot of new and young staff members but I just couldn’t feel the same old-fashion hospitality I used to experienced. The only consolation is the bed - one of the very few I have come across to suit my chronic back conditions, and one compliment to Sivachandran the multi-lingual bell-boy com driver, his great personality and charisma will never be forgotten!

I went with my mom on 23rd October, for my sister's convocation ceremony. I have requested a comp birthday cake for my mom. Start check-in at around 2:30 pm and we waited for 5 minutes as our rooms are not ready. The receptionist name Felicia was accurate and details. I dont even have a thing to worried about. Credit to Ms Felicia. We went to the room and its clean and spacious for 2 persons. I love the bed and the bathroom! Later at the afternoon we went to the pool, the pool guy was attentive and friendly. The location is just nice to drive to Universiti Malaya, its just 3 minutes away! I have requested a late check-out and it all have been arranged accordingly. Thanks Pullman Team!
