I recently traveled to Kuala Lumpur fornthe first time, celebrating a birthday. I made the best decision by staying at the St. Regis. The hotel is exquisite and the staff are simply magnificent. From the hotel manager Nilesh to Natasha and Harry our concierge, I could not have asked for a better stay. The Caroline Astor Suite is divine and the opulence of the entire property is breathtaking. From tea in The Drawing Room to libations in The Astor Bar and breakfast in the Brassiere, no stone was left unturned. However, the biggest standout is the sheer quality and attention to detail of the entire staff. Look forward to returning soon.

The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur. My dream hotel to stay since they open its glamorous glass door in 2016. Only in 2019 my wish and my dreams come true. First impression when i arrived at the hotel lobby was super duper awesome. When i step out from the elevator and walk to the front desk counter, their staff already greet me from far and offer me to take care all of my belonging. At the front desk during check in process, they give me welcome drinks (flower tea and hot towel) and also the welcome letter. Everything explain clearly by the front desk staff and after that the bellman escort me with all the belongings directly to my room. And the most special one is after a few minutes settled down inside the room, the signature service of The St. Regis, the butler arrived and explain everything about the room and how to operate every single items inside the room. By the way, most of the items inside the rooms are controlled with a single press of the buttons. Curtains, sheers, room lamps even though the toilet bowl also controlled by a single press of a button. The butler is available at your service 24 hours and just dial 0 for their service. Free flow coffee (Cappuccino, Latte) are always available since the coffee machine inside the room only can made black coffee. Just ask your butler for any needs and they will cater it for you. Such an awesome service. My room was upgraded to Grand Deluxe since i book under Marriot Bonvoy Exquisite Gateway. The room was super duper awesome and fantastic. The room was very huge with 2-seater sofa for watching our favourite tv channel. This room also have make-up room together with the wardrobe and huge fully marble bathroom that totally separated from the bedding and watching area. Windows are from floor to the ceiling around 10-feet high. I don't feel like i staying in the hotel room but like i stay in my own house. They design the room until i did not feel to going out even though just for finding some food to eat. Everything is super duper awesome. Need to try it yourself to experience what am i talking about. In room dining was very nice and delicious. I only order the kids menu since i don't want to eat much before i going to bed. I've ordered spaghetti bolognese and the food arrived still in hot conditions and of course the portion of food is enough for one adult even though the order is for kids. The taste? Of course, very delicious. Yummy If there is a score from 1 until 10, i give 20 for The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur. All of your team members are very awesome. From beginning until the end of my stay i feel very satisfied. I cannot choose the suitable words to describe how am i satisfied with all of the service provided and of course i will come here again, stay here again, dine in here again and do everything i like in this hotel again. This is the first luxury hotel i ever stayed. And i will come back again. For sure. I don't mind to pay huge amount of money to spend a night in The St. Regis Hotel Kuala Lumpur because i know every single cents i spend is worth it. Good job The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur!

Period of stay: September, 2019. Purpose of stay: Celebrating my wife's graduation day. Our room: Caroline Astor Suite, Highest Floor. Introduction: A stay that was heavenly! Never stops thinking of staying back here again in the future! Pro(s): 1. The Signage outside the road is sufficient. 2. Located at the heart of KL city, next to KL Sentral the main KL transportation hub. 3. During my arrival, I was greeted from the entrance with warmth and friendly staffs. They showed me the way to the FDA and FDA greeted me with non-stop smiles. Not forgetting the complimentary tea to lift up my mood. 4. Overall the suite we stayed on was very good. We loved almost all the facilities and amenities in the room. The interior of the room is a sight to behold. The furniture arrangement in the living room was appropriate as well the bedroom. The bed was heavenly! The most significant thing is the TV in the bathroom of course! Second should be the automated curtains! 5. Vicky the Butler did a great job on giving me a tour of our room as well as Anna, other butler also good but couldn't remember their names respectively. I also encounter Mr Saravena Govenden the Chief Concierge and he was very helpful on processing my request, not forgetting Tawi. The best staffs of all was Tan Jit Horng and Emily Liu, although I never met them in person but they were able to assist me on managing my reservation effectively according to my needs. Overall, almost all the staffs achieved their goal that is willing to satisfy my needs as their guest. 6. We used the complimentary shuttle service to KL Sentral and it was a great experience. Although it was just a short ride, but the driver was friendly and helpful. 7. We were placed on the top floor of this hotel and it was a great floor, loved the view except the hazy days during our stay. 8. I personally love the turn down service, this a plus for the hotel! Con(s): 1. The mini bar fridge was too small, it was full of beverages we can't put our fruit/food inside. 2. We love the welcome mini cookies upon our arrival, but perhaps welcome fruits /snacks /chocolates also relevant as this is a suite room and not a normal room. 3. The arrangement of shower was not good however, as I was taking a shower the water will sprinkle over to the bath tub and other areas as well. So half of the bathroom will get wet if the shower is used. Perhaps the shower area can be moved aside and or glass-partitioned for more comfort. Features (Not necessarily specified to be cons) 1. Didn't get a chance to give my wife a massage service as we are occupied with our schedule. 2. Don't have a club/executive lounge. 3. Haven't swim at the swimming pool. 4. Haven't use the gym. Summary: A three night stay at St Regis Kuala Lumpur that we will never forget!

It was our first experience at a St. Regis. Location - not close to KLCC. We had to take a taxi ride to anywhere we wanted to go. Grand style and decor. Room was clean and we liked the walk-in closet separated from the bathroom design. We had breakfast and selection was very good (unfortunately, could not beat Grand Hyatt). We did not dine at their restaurants except at the Drawing Room for afternoon tea. A lovely spot with lots of natural light. One major disappointment was that there were houseflies. We used the pressing service once. Due to urgency, I gave them 2 pieces but asked for 1 piece to be pressed and returned to me within the morning. When the butler returned, she came with both pieces nicely pressed. I was very pleased. During the turn down service, they will leave sweet treats on the coffee table. I liked the pineapple cookies so much that I asked for more and they obliged. Sweet! We saw many business travellers and did not see any families at all. Would we return? High chance for the comfort but not for location. We'll see.

The St. Regis! The glitz and glamour! The shine is all there but not without shadows. The location is excellent so near to KL Sentral. The room was spacious and clean. The bed mattress was firm but comfortable. And the hotel staff always greeted us with a smile. However as polite as they were, we had to repeat our instructions on more than one occassion. Either the message was lost in transit or the staff forgot about it. This gives me a feeling that they are not very sincere although they give assurances that it would be done. However amidst these irritations, it is a hotel worthy of it's name. Just that I will lower my service expectations if I were to stay here again.

I do sincerely feel this is the best hotel in KL but I must qualify, this statement is based on a comparison of the hotels I have stayed in and based on my personal preferences. I have stayed in at least 5 other 5- star hotels in KL including MO and JW Marriott and the St Regis would be my winner in a shootout. Allow me to elaborate why. Room Quality – The St Regis truly excels here. Perhaps it is because it is one of the newest in the city but all the finishes are of high quality and the room is spotless. Many hotels in KL, including high end ones, come across as dated and in some cases run down. Not the St Regis. In fairness, it is quite obvious that high quality materials have been chosen and no quality shortcuts were taken. The luxury is also well balanced. Quality, elegant design choices that don’t shout opulence but instead cosset you in finery. The rooms are also on the larger side. We stayed in a suite attached to a normal room (courtesy of an upgrade) and both rooms were large (compared with a similar such rooms in other hotels) and well appointed. Very well appointed. Hotel Amenities – The understated elegance extends to the hotel interiors so walking through the property is a very pleasant experience. Little things like lifts coming quickly make an positive impression. The hotel has a well-equipped gym, a lovely pool and an excellent spa. The Spa deserves special mention as the therapists we had (Natasha and Hidayat) were blessed with excellent technique. This cannot be taken for granted, especially in KL hotel spas where I have found the quality of therapist technique to be somewhat lacking. Breakfast – The breakfast spread is reasonably extensive although perhaps not as extravagant as some other hotels. However, the buffet spread is augmented by an ala carte menu that you can order from. What makes it a special breakfast experience is the quality of the food items. Everything is flavorful and well-made and I would always choose quality over quantity rather than simply more of the mundane. Service – I must say I was truly impressed with the warmth and attentiveness of the service. On par with my experience at the truly exceptional Peninsula Bangkok and streets ahead of the service experiences at other KL hotels. Their butler service was friendly by not intrusive and staff everywhere went out of their way to make us feel welcome and attend to our every need. Saravana from the concierge especially stood out by blending excellent knowledge with warm and friendly service, putting us at ease every morning as we asked for advice on the best options to get around the city. Location – If there’s one area other hotels in Kl have a leg up on, it’s location. The St Regis is not found in the heart of shopping or tourist districts. It is located a short hop from the KL Sentral train station, surrounded by office buildings. However, that was not a real issue for us. Getting around by grab or taxi was a breeze. Mid Valley Megamall was but a 5-10 min ride away and double that time and you are at KLCC or the Bukit Bintang shopping belt. Plus the train station being so near makes getting around on trains easy, including the use of the airport train. They have a free, regular (30 min interval) shuttle that brings you to and fro the hotel and KL Sentral train station. In addition, Nu Sentral mall is right next to the train station providing more than enough options for the basics including food and groceries. All things considered, St Regis would probably be my go to hotel in KL. Not cheap but in my opinion worth every ringgit spent.

This would be my first time at St Regis ( I came here with my brother) and to try out the afternoon high tea.
There was a fantastic arrangement of food and desserts that had been served to me.
Today was truly a mouth watering experience and I was presented with an array of exquisite choices 

Putting aside the exceptionally delightful food , i must highly congratulate Ms Emma Sultan of 
the Drawing Room SR. She lead they way from various suggestions , while helping me choose between
the wonderful choices of teas to the different types of canapés that was served to my liking.

To dear Ms Emma , 
You truly are the shining star of my evening.
An absolutely lovely and memorable evening made even more special by the little attention to detail.
It truly is a delight to hear the standards of St Regis are set to such prestige image and to have a staff that lives true to the St regis reputation More than just hard work , it takes true kind of passion to be able to deliver such flawless service in accordance with the highest standards.

What I thought was just exceptional , was that I briefly mentioned to Ms Emma at the start of the canapé service that it was my brothers 
birthday. 
That was enough for her and a team to quickly surprise my brother with a lovely dessert cake ( much to my and his absolute delight) . Not only did she ensemble the team to bring a cake with candles and written wordings , she along with them sang him happy birthday as she presented it to him. The beauty of all of this is that , this was truly her own creative initiative which she put her effort and quick action in , much to my pleasant surprise as I did not expect any of this . 
My brothers reaction was priceless and my gratitude for making this moment even more memorable will forever be cherished. 
Ms. Emma , I truly cannot thank you enough for giving us both on an amazing evening and experience.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart , and know that when i shared the news with my family , they were all equally thrilled and would all love to come at the St Regis to dine, with the pleasure of your phenomenal service .

Really love this hotel, people are nice and very professional. Rooms are great. One thing I do suggest is having vegan options on the menu. We both had to ask for options, it should just be on the menu, as not everyone wants to consume animal products. Thanks!

Stayed here as a birthday celebration for my mother who turned 92 years old. The Butler service here at the St. Regis was just top notched! They had our room decorated with balloons and rose petals. Thank you to our butlers Duncan, Faizal and the whole staff too numerous to remember all your names but thank you! You made an elderly woman feel so welcomed and she had an amazing stay. She had an awesome high tea at the Drawing Room. Our servers Darshni and Ray did an amazing job especially when her birthday cake / mousse came out.. My mother loved the "Horse" by Boticero. It was huge!! Lol. If you plan to fly in and out of KLIA this hotel is located about a 7 minute walk to the train station ...pretty convenient and you will find a shopping mall in there as well for all yoour shopping needs.

I decided to stay at St Regis away from the KLCC area. St Regis did not disappoint! The rooms were beautifully designed and the breakfast spread was diverse to suit everyone’s taste buds. I checked in really late on Aug 7th and the Front Desk employee escorted me to my room as I was a single female and there was another male guest who was going to take the same elevator with me and the male guest was tail gating me as the male guest did not have his key card with him. I appreciate the Front Desk employee’s due diligence to Ensure my safety. The only thing I will like to point out is that the door handle on the shower glass door was loose and no one came to fix it for the four nights while I was there. Otherwise, both the hardware and the software are pretty exquisite. I enjoyed my stay so much that I am spending my year end vacation in this property.
