Where to eat out with your pet in Knoxville (TN)

Treat yourself and your four-legged friend to some of the best crepes in town at the French Market Creperie, or head to Not Watson’s to taste some of the city’s best burgers. Not Watson's is only a 10 minute drive away from the Ijams Nature Center which makes it a great combination. Tomato Head Market Square is another dog-friendly eatery, serving up simple sandwiches and Tex-Mex cuisine. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area.

For cheap drinks and a lovely patio for your pooch, Cool Bean’s Bar on the UT campus is ideal for relaxing. Alternatively, you and your dog could hit up Preservation Pub to treat yourself to refreshing drinks. Particularly their Moonshine Roof Garden has incredible views overlooking historic market square.

The best places to let your dog have a run off-leash include the PetSafe Village Dog Park, where you find great features such as agility equipment, a pond, and a doggy water fountain, or Dogwood Park at Victor Ashe Park. The latter has a playground just for dogs. If you are in town for any of Knoxville’s unique doggy events, you are in for a treat. The annual Mardi Growl festival takes place each March. At that time of the year, you can watch hundreds of dogs in costume march with their owners to raise awareness for Knoxville’s animal shelters.
