The night desk guy was friendly, efficient and had a great sense of humor. The place is at an age where most chain motels are falling apart but this one was just fine. Day staff was friendly as well.

The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. It looked like they may have been remodeling in parts of the hotel. My only real complaint is the entire 3rd floor hallways smelled of cigarette smoke as soon as you exited the elevator. Thankfully you could not smell it in the room. It was a decent room for just sleeping in which is what we did, we were up early the next morning to leave.

My husband and myself came down and stay her for two night the guy that work second shift I think he work 3 to"11 was very nice. We had a very nice say.

All I have to say positive is that the front desk clerk was nice. Television in the room did not work, pillows on king size bed were very small, the bed was not comfortable and made lots of noise, toilet paper in the toilet prior to me entering the room. Lots of noise early in the morning, maintenance being performed on hotel and was very disturbing. Check out was at 11am, but they came banging on the door at 10:45am to try and make me leave.

Knoxville was a nice town and that partially affected how I felt about the accommodation while I was in town. I was on a road trip to move from TX to NY permanently for a new job, and we booked the hotels along the way, usually around 5pm everyday depending on how far we could make it that day. Booking on orbitz was super easy, price was competitive, all we did upon arrival was to get the key and go for bed.

The staff was great when I called to confirm a late check in. The staff upon check in was quick and efficient. The room was not 100% but it was not bad. Some repairs that were done over time did not have that finished look. The bed was firm but sleep well. Breakfast was just ok. All in all it was not bad for the price.

Even though the facility is close to the highway, the night was very quiet.

The hotel wasn't great, but for the price, I wouldn't expect great. It seemed reasonably clean. The breakfast was pretty standard. The floors in the room were laminate which was a surprise. I figure it makes it easier to clean well, but they weren't in great condition and it made the room feel especially stark. I had a view of another hotel.

I needed a last minute room and Red Roof came through. The property is a bit older and showing it in some places but my room was clean, comfortable, affordable and quiet. There was a noisy Birthday group down the hall - but once I closed the door I couldn't hear them. Had to leave too early to catch the free breakfast but it looked good, standard breakfast fare. I grabbed a cup of coffee and that scored. Tasty, not watery, good java. Overall, I'll stay here again.

Red Roof Inn Knoxville Central Business center is a decent hotel with clean rooms. The business center printer did not work. The rear entry where advised by hotel staff to use as it was close to parking had a leak from above dripping down on any guest using that entry door.

Front desk clerk was friendly. They said my room had been renovated but the bed was awful, it had a huge dip in the middle. The morning staff was not very pleasant. The overall look of the place was ok, although I parked my car at the la Quinta next door because it felt safer over there.

I've been staying at this hotel whenever I'm in Knoxville since 2010. It used to be nicer, but seems to gradually be getting worse. Our bathtub didn't drain, there was a red stain on comforter, leak on AC unit at end of hall outside so had to walk through nasty pool of water, stunk (musty/damp), and they did not give us clean sheets each day. Management was responsive after I filled out a survey they emailed me and said they had talked with housekeeping about my issues and were in the process of renovating. We asked twice, on two different days, to have the bathtub repaired. It was never repaired and a change of rooms was never offered. I doubt we will stay here again.

The night Manager was awesome! She even called Orbitz to make them straighten out our reservation.

This hotel was fine. It was fine for one night and for the price. The front desk staff was really nice and friendly. My only issue was really with the bed. It was like a cardboard box filled with broken slinkies. That was my only issue.

My fiance and I stayed at this hotel while visiting his mother on a short trip to Knoxville. I wasn't sure if the room was going to be clean or not because the outside looks a bit run down. Surprisingly, the room was very clean, and we had a nice stay. My only complaints were that the bed was on the hard side, and the elevator stopped working at one point. Overall, a good price for a well located hotel with clean rooms.

The staff was super nice. The gentleman at check in was awesome. Housekeeping was super sweet. BUT the condition of the hotel was pretty bad. My room had holes and tears in the curtain, horrible stains all over the chair, some kid once upon a time stuck stickers on the mirror, you can see the film on shower wall.... Even upon entering the hotel there is water coming out of an AC that's right above the entrance way ... Which will get you wet. The pool is NOT kid friendly... The cement scratched my kids up and it was very deep. Went from 3 to 8 feet... Leaving my kids a very small area to swim. The hotel was quiet.... And the beds were comfortable. So overall it was ok... Just not the best.

Do not stay here. My first evening I woke up at 330 am with a roach crawling over the side of my face. I turned on the light in time to see it run under the bed. All the apologies in the world don't help. NEVER will I stay in this hotel again and I don't suggest you do either. Buyer beware.

Passing through Knoxville and needed a place to stay the night. Met the need for late check in, sleep, breakfast and early departure. No shampoo/conditioner though.
